His work really speaks for itself but here's my review anyway: SHOOTS IN FILM: I honestly didnt know what this meant or why this was good but upon seeing the actual pictures I realized that the film ones' colors really popped and made the pictures that much more beautiful. Apparently most photographers who shoot in film charge a kazillion x the price so I count myself lucky for finding a film photographer in my budget. GIVES GREAT DIRECTION: My now-husband and I were worried we had no idea how to pose and didn't have a list of prepared poses going in but daniel was great at telling us exactly where to stand, where to put our hands, etc. and made us feel super comfortable throughout the session. PROFESSIONAL: He's super accommodating and flexible. He's also very honest-Being the crazy indecisive bridezilla, I of course waited until the last week before I asked him to add more hours to our agreed upon contract for the wedding day (and of course pay a little extra for the additional time). Day of, he tells me he re-read the contract and apparently the hours were already included and I didn't owe him anything! Not only was that a great wedding day surprise but he was super honest about the whole thing and could've easily just accepted the check. So.. on top of being talented and nice, he's just an awesome person all around. :) Sidenote: He lives in AZ but it was still totally worth flying him out for engagement shoot and wedding in the bay area. He's done a lot out here so it felt like he knew the area better than we did when it came to choosing a shoot site!

We're a blended family, and our oldest is about to move out of state for a job after graduating from college, so these photos were really important to us. Not only did she capture moments we'll cherish forever, but she also prayed over our family at the end of our time together as we head into this season of transition. We have been working with Bailie for 3 years now to capture our yearly Anniversary photos. When we moved to Arizona we were nervous about finding a photographer that we could grow with through our years. We think it's so important as we change to capture us growing and changing through the years and Bailie freaking gets it! From scheduling our first photoshoot to our most recent she is the freaking Queen! She is a mom of 4 and has always been exceptionally timely in scheduling and turnaround. She shows up to shoots on time and is very in the moment with you as she works her magic. Each year, we reach out to Bailie to schedule our shoot. She always goes above and beyond to ask our preference on locations - even sending us new ones she finds as she gets closer to our date if we haven't decided on one yet. And even when we do pick - she is there to guide us and recommend new locations if she feels grounds, weather, colors just aren't right. I appreciate her proactive approach to always creating a great backdrop. For locations she has captured really important, memorable spots for us. She not only captures us perfect but ensures the backdrop is just as perfect. When working with her - she makes you feel so comfortable. Even during our first shoot, she created lots of small talk and really got to know us. She has continued to form a relationship with us for the past 3 years making it easier and easier to shoot with her because we are prepared for her hilarious prompts or awkward poses that she promises will come out amazing and I swear she nails them every single time. For our latest shoot, she allowed me to send her a Pinterest inspiration board of ideas and went above and beyond in selecting the perfect location to match the vibe, captured poses from the idea board, and even made sure she captured our Jeep we wanted in the shots. She is open to ask, direction, artist freedom and more and you would be missing out if you missed scheduling with her. Her turnaround time is also top notch. She has never missed a promised turnaround time in all of our shoots and she not only sends you sneeks early but she captures a Polaroid for you to keep as a memory too. I couldn't have asked for a better human to capture our growing love for years to come. I can't wait to see what is next for us!

The review said great stuff about her work, her site had beautiful photos and our cousin shared with us that she was a perfectionist, I was sure I wanted to work with her. I booked her when my baby was 3 weeks old (and as I found out, it wasn't a good idea; my baby was too alert for the photos so if you are still pregnant and reading this, please arrange a booking with Jacqueline ahead of your delivery and she will work with you to get the baby in within the first week). Nevertheless, she was patient with my baby and tried to calm her and soothe her to get the photos done properly. When you walk into the studio, you have to take off your shoes which I appreciate because she would like to keep the studio as clean as possible for the babies. She has a changing station and has numerous outfits, hats, blankets, etc, all the accessories she might need to take beautiful photos, all properly and neatly organized for you to choose from. Jacqueline has great taste so, if you depend on her to come up with beautiful poses for your baby, you won't regret the outcome. She also gives you the option to choose the colors and outfits and works with you to get beautiful photos. Once the photoshoot is done, Jacqueline sends you all the proofs to choose from. After selecting your favorites, she edits them and send you the final pictures. You also get a discount for prints as per her e-mail. The whole process is timely and organized. I would definitely recommend Jacqueline for baby photo shoots. She is patient and very talented. The photos that she took for our baby were gorgeous!
