The review said great stuff about her work, her site had beautiful photos and our cousin shared with us that she was a perfectionist, I was sure I wanted to work with her. I booked her when my baby was 3 weeks old (and as I found out, it wasn't a good idea; my baby was too alert for the photos so if you are still pregnant and reading this, please arrange a booking with Jacqueline ahead of your delivery and she will work with you to get the baby in within the first week). Nevertheless, she was patient with my baby and tried to calm her and soothe her to get the photos done properly. When you walk into the studio, you have to take off your shoes which I appreciate because she would like to keep the studio as clean as possible for the babies. She has a changing station and has numerous outfits, hats, blankets, etc, all the accessories she might need to take beautiful photos, all properly and neatly organized for you to choose from. Jacqueline has great taste so, if you depend on her to come up with beautiful poses for your baby, you won't regret the outcome. She also gives you the option to choose the colors and outfits and works with you to get beautiful photos. Once the photoshoot is done, Jacqueline sends you all the proofs to choose from. After selecting your favorites, she edits them and send you the final pictures. You also get a discount for prints as per her e-mail. The whole process is timely and organized. I would definitely recommend Jacqueline for baby photo shoots. She is patient and very talented. The photos that she took for our baby were gorgeous!

If you are even considering doing boudoir shots for yourself or your partner, check out Lynn Dao at…read moreBoudoir in Bloom. I just got back from viewing my photos and, wow! I could scarcely believe the gorgeous, sexy woman in the photos was me! Lynn has a real talent for choosing just the right lighting and angles to make her subjects look amazing. Her photos are worthy of a Maxim or Vogue cover. Honestly, they are that good. I went into my viewing session rather skeptical. I mean, I know my body and have never liked being photographed. But, when I saw the quality of Lynn's work, I was amazed. I left her studio even liking my thighs, which is no small thing (neither are they!) Lynn's artistry starts from the time you set up a consultation. You get to see many backgrounds and areas from which Lynn will compose her shots of you. During the shoot, Lynn made me very comfortable. I never had an awkward moment even though I wore only lingerie and swimwear and in some shots, only bubbles. And don't worry about your hair or makeup. Lynn has a professional makeup artist right at the session. My hair and makeup looked AMAZING thanks to Erica. Other photogs may charge less, but they won't do as beautiful a job as Lynn Dao. If you want tasteful, sexy artistry, choose Boudoir in Bloom.

I was looking to do boudoir photography on a whim and did a google search. Lynn came up as third on…read morethe list, but her portfolio (and a $100 special this summer!) were instant sellers. It's a difficult line to walk, when it comes to photography designed to make women feel sexy. How do you do sexy without being cheesy? How to keep it classy and make it beautiful, instead of letting it cross over into raunchy? How to make it creative, and artistic? Most importantly, how to do it with normal women, in all their flawed, sometimes poochy, sometimes stretchmarked glory? It's a tough thing to do, but Lynn does this all perfectly. You'll see this if you drop by her website and take a look at her portfolio. There are women that are big AND small, and all of them look incredible. I was recently privileged enough to join the ranks of said women, and I must say it's some of the best money I've ever spent! Lynn was gracious, so nice, and extremely accommodating of my tight deadline and budget. Her home studio is absolutely stunning, and she is an absolute, consummate professional when it comes to communicating before, during and after your session. The makeup artist she works with, Erica, is amazing as well. Both women were friendly, sweet, and so easy to talk to. I feel like I made two new friends the day of my shoot! More importantly, I felt like I got to play a Victoria's Secret model for the day! It was such a fun, liberating experience. If you're thinking about giving boudoir photography a shot, give Lynn a call right away. Even better, just talk to her about doing a package. You won't be disappointed. And ladies, make sure to splurge on having Erica do your hair and make up as well.

Review I had a…read morenewborn photo session with my 2 week old baby boy. It was wonderful. Lorena, her assistant, and makeup artist were all extremely patient and kind. My baby was more peaceful during the photos than he had been all week. They had all the tools there to help it go smoothly. It was magic. She showed us pics along the way so we got to see peeks and make adjustments. There was no rushing; we did the session until everyone was happy with what we captured. And as an exhausted new mom, I didn't have to lift a finger. Clothes and makeup and baby were all taken care of. Baby was so calm after the session ended that we had our first lunch out after photos! Baby is growing so fast that I know I'll cherish these photos forever. I would recommend to anyone I know with a newborn!
