This will be a long one 1st of all the Google reviews are FAKE! they have a review on Google that their employee Chris made thanking them for the deal on my car LOL literally the vehicle that I took home! check it out it's the light blue Hyundai Elantra N that when they received it, they took a picture and posted that fake review. Don't worry I already reported it and them to Google as it's violating Google's terms and conditions. The main story here is that this dealership is a stealer-ship. after they added about $6,000 in markup to my car, the only thing I asked for in the deal was an all-weather floor mat that retails for $200 which they agreed to and provided a DUE-BILL for the item as they did not have it in stock. later when I got home I realized they added the cost of the mats to my loan (pictures of all are attached). I brought it up to their attention and the fiasco started there. after I missed a call from Benjamin Moreno the sales rep he left a voice message saying he, the finance manager (Luis Zarco - THE man to avoid) and Ricky Aguilar have seen the mistake and will make it right. then when we spoke Ben - the sales rep told me they actually discounted the cost of the premium finish (some lying accessory to explain a portion of the markup) from the full $995 to $795 so that will offset the cost of the floormats(?!). told him that's a lie and I paid the full $995 (check out the attached breakdown of price to verify my claim is a fact). then after he said he"ll check again he called me to say how my APR came back half a point lower than what we originally talked about and how because of that all accessories were given to me at their full price - premium finish and floormats. that's a blunt lie because it was never explained, disclosed, or mentioned and in fact, I never asked even for the price of the mats cause I never showed any interest in buying them. from the 1st time they came up it was as an addon to the deal with the car!!! couple days later he called again telling me his manager ricky would give me a call in a few minutes because he felt like there was nothing he could do to resolve how they stole from me this $200 with their respective 72 month of interest. 4 minutes later he called again telling me his passing the phone to a guy from the dealership that I didn't know and heard his name for the first time I then asked where's ricky who was supposed to take the call and the lying rep Ben said ricky is (all of a sudden) out of the dealership that day so the other guy will talk to me. as I fed-up with all those lies I just hang-up the call. after a lot of unpleasant back and forth and after demanding compensation they offered to send a check of $300 to Hyundai for the $200 they mischarged for the floormats plus any interest that would be applied to that charge and they would provide another $300 to me as a credit to buy any parts/accessories I might want for the car - and they gave that in writing via email. Please refer to all the email correspondence to see how they came back on their offer because I gave Hyundai an honest survey - at their request about my buying experience. I had multiple calls from rick welty who never gave me a chance to even speak and out of a 16-minute conversation he cut me off and attacked me constantly for 14 of them. at 1 of the calls, he told me how his a man of his word and that he would honor the $300 to Hyundai and the additional $300 for parts/accessories he promised after his sales manager soldier ricky aguilar took it away from me at rick's order (refer to the emails screenshots I have uploaded). my god that has to be a joke! when I did not accept the second time same offer being offered he got really upset and told me how his canceling me as a customer and I couldn't buy or service anything there anymore in my life and no one would follow up with me on anything or ever call me and how my calls will not be answered BUT check this out..he called me again himself the following day leaving a massage (because I'm done letting him take his frustration on me and be yelled at) that he needed to cool down and sleep this over and asked for a call back with another offer he wants to lick my brain on. no Ty sir I "ll take care of this without dealing with you anymore. even got a call from Mr. Gosch himself being upset with me for the honest survey I've given and telling me he"ll take my car back and how I needed to bring it back in for the cancelation. It's amazing how at any given point none of those owners/managers thought of putting customer service as a goal to resolve what was done to me. these are not made-up accusations and that is why i uploaded all the docs to support my claims and if there was a way I would also upload the incriminating voice messages they all left admitting to the fault with the charge that inspired it all. I leased a brand new 2022 Kona EV without any issues at first. Great sales team and was able to get a good deal on my trade in. However, I brought my brand new 2022 Kona EV back to the Gosch dealership to have the Platinum paint finish added to the vehicle. Since the paint is Black, they recommended the service to help protect the finish. Instead, the service department proceeded to scratch up the entire vehicle front to back, top to bottom! Since there's a repeating scratch pattern all over the car, it's very apparent that they used a bone dry and dirty orbital buffer. After they finished this "service" I had to bring the vehicle back a -second- time so they could attempted to correct the issue by re-buffing the car. This yielded zero results.... I'm giving this Dealer a 2 star rating because of the incompetent service department ruining the paint job on my vehicle. I have lost trust in this dealership and would recommend you shop elsewhere. Went in week of 12-11-23 to look at a 2023 Santa Fe. I had an appt. and still waited an additional 20 mins. I was prepared to leave in 5 mins when internet sales manager finally showed up to greet me. I told him having someone wait 20 mins when they have an appt is unacceptable. He did not appear phased by my displeasure. He quickly connected me with a salesman named Michael. I test drove a Sante Fe and asked several questions about the vehicle. The salesman was professional and courteous and he knew quite a bit about vehicle. He was great. Entered sales office and we spoke with one of the sales managers named Theo Parrish. Theo and I discussed the vehicle and went back and forth on price. We ended up with his offer of $3K off MSRP if purchased what he had in stock. I said ok, let me check with with wife on color of vehicles you have in stock. I gave him my email and he was to send me my offer in writing and he never did. I called back 4 days later and he said no more offer it was only for that day. I said that's not what was agreed to; it was for what was in stock. He Would NOT stand by HIS offer. Total DISHONESTY! Avoid this dealership. POOR customer service from this particular sales manager. He is dishonest and not to be trusted to stand by his word. It takes a lot to get a willing buying customer in the door only to show them a true adhesion to subpar sales skills and even lesser customer service. After driving a long 45 miles each way I'll be looking elsewhere than gosch, of whose dealerships has 4 of their cars in our family. Yes I called this person a jerk and it was well deserved. Intent on showing me Kia websites that show lesser pricing on a competitive models instead of trying to sell me on their on the lot inventory, only to balk when asked about the extremely odd method of selling. It's tough buying/selling cars out there and I'm sure all those discretionary funds spent on costly advertising wasn't intended for a horrifically bad display of unprofessionalism and lack of follow up (I actually had questions about other vehicles) only to be told "I'm done" and stare lovingly at a computer screen. During our interaction, the finance officer did offer motor insurance for $10, but we declined. He then said $5 which we agreed. We had already signed the carbon copies prior to this. I've been here twice for a simple oil change, both times I've waited over 3 hrs . The first time the oil didn't look like it was even changed , no sticker on the mileage to return . I called and called to speak to the advisor and nothing until my husband called and spoke to a manager. I went in and they changed it again for free and topped off the coolant which they had not done either. The second time I brought it in I left the dealership and I never received a call when my car was ready until I showed up @ 10:58 my appointment was at 7:40 !!! They sold a lemon. It was flagged for a malfunctioned EV battery in March. They never fixed the battery and just kept it on the lot until someone I know came along in May. No warning was issued by the dealer about this faulty battery. The car completely broke down less than two months later and the mechanic spotted the problem right away. This car dealership is a basically a con. They devalued my 2018 Honda Clarity with only 26,000 miles to only $13000 when KBB said its still worth $20,000 to $22,000. Then they sold me a 2008 Lexus RX 350 with 63,000 miles for almost$15,000. After haggling for over 3 hours, they finally agreed to pay me the difference for $2,750 when they received my title from my bank. However, three weeks after my bank notified me the loan was paid off n the title was sent to the dealership, I'm still waiting for the checjbto come in spite of my calling and leaving messages to the manager, Ricky, and finance guy, Luis, numerous times, I never heard anything from them. I'am very disappointed on gosh Hyundai Hemet. After having my car for a month! My service advisor CARLOS never followed up with me, I had to call him constantly to find out any updates. Like always everything is back order or he was out on a family emergency. They made it so hard for me to get my car back! I send my brother to pick up my car, and when I see my car there was hand prints on the ceiling and windows of the car. Completely unacceptable! After having my car for a month they couldn't take the time to take off all the dirty stains THEY left on my car. The sales person we dealt with (Tracey) was wonderful, but her boss lied about the payoff on my trade in and then offered me $4000 less than Kelly Blue book. Update from today (the next day), the used car general manager called me back but he was only interested in telling me how wrong I was when I looked up the Kelly blue book value. I made reasonable counter offer and he continued explaining how wrong I was. This may be a bit long, but the bottom line is I will never buy or recommend Gosch Hyundai. On Monday, February 22, my wife and I went to the dealership to pick up her mom's car (recall). While there my wife ended up purchasing a Hyundai Venue. The process took quite a while, but while she was at the finance counter I went outside to look over the car. I noticed a dimple with a small scratch on the rear door. I went inside and informed my wife and Ryan of damage. He told us it would be repaired. He had a 'dimple removal' guy. I told him it also had a scratch through the paint. He really showed little concern and jokingly told us he would make sure we got a full tank of gas. I guess to placate us. So, we were given Haley's name and were told she would call on Tuesday to schedule repair. I left to remove belongings from my wife's car. (As an aside, I just had the car detailed and it looked awesome - buyers remorse?) Our salesperson drove the Venue and my wife her mom's car. To her credit the salesperson sat in the driveway with my wife educating her. But once inside,she was a bit pushy in getting an immediate review, telling us her boss would be mad if she didn't get a review. My wife complied, but since she was tired she had salesperson write the review. So, we receive no calls on Tuesday, Wednesday. Left messages, no response. On Thursday, I spoke to the receptionist and asked to speak to the dealership Manager. I was connected to Austin Ireland, a floor manager. He really didn't know Haley, but would leave a message on her desk. Our salesperson was not in. At this point I realized there was absolutely no communication in this dealership. Austin did leave me a message later that day telling me Haley was out sick. Finally, on Friday, we got a call from Haley. As said, she was out sick. I felt for her, but didn't anyone know this? so that this information would be relayed to us to bring down stress levels! So now it's been a week since we've had the car. Since her 'repair guy' didn't come into Wednesday Haley scheduled us to bring in the car on March 3 between 8-9AM. She would check in the car, get me a rental and make everything right. I showed up at 8:30. No one was around. I actually spoke to a gentleman who had no idea who Haley was but was able to locate her office. I asked if she had a business card. His reply - well her door was closed. I found that she was not due until 9:30. At this point I 'ran' into Austin. We were able to locate Guy in the Service Department who took over. He checked in the car, and I was sent over to Enterprise for the car rental. (which took an hour to get). On March 4th I received a call that the car was ready. It was nice that Haley offered to have a driver bring out the car and pick up the rental. This happened that afternoon. I checked the car - dimple removed, chip still there. The driver noticed also. Called Haley. She set up ANOTHER appointment for Monday March 8 to bring in the car. So, on Monday I showed up with a car. Process started all over again, although it took nearly 2 hours to get rental. And I also found that I had a $10 gas charge from the previous rental (I had driven the car 29 miles - round trip from our home to the dealership!! - pretty expensive gas). At this point I wanted to see how happy the dealership wanted to make me. I spoke to Haley and told her that all the cars we've purchased over time came with mudguards. I also asked about Scotch guard-type of protection for the interior. She told me she would check. On Tuesday Haley told me car was ready. She also told me they don't install mud guards any longer, and their "Platinum Protection Pkg" was $300 (a can of Scotch Guard is $20). In other words, their attitude is - sorry for the inconvenience but we'll do nothing about it. I showed up Tuesday evening. No one in service had any idea of what I wanted, or where the car was at (Haley said she'd be gone by the time I got there but would tell people I was coming in). I went back in sales area and our sales person was there. A service person at the desk located the key, and we went looking for a car. We found and checked the car out. Scratch gone. However, the car had been 'washed' with tire dressing applied. Unfortunately, the tire dressing must have been wet when the car was moved. There was tire dressing overspray on all the rocker panels. Looked really bad. I was done at this point and took the car. Driving home noticed the tank was NOT filled up. Not a big deal, but...it continues. Went out the next day to check the side of the car. The door that had a chip now has wax swirls all over that door. Stay tuned. The car is really not in our possession for two weeks. No concern by anyone in the dealership about our dilemma. Absolutely no communication between employees involved in the process. We were completely left hanging and it seemed it was my job to put everything together. I couldn't be happier! Gosch was discovered because of their being linked with Costco auto program. I sent a request through Costco Sunday night, and received a call Monday morning. Then I received a call from a sales manager Ricky. We texted (because I was at work) through out the day about what I was looking for and wanting to pay. He sent over a quote and he came back with better than I was expecting. Talked to him that night and made plans to come up (from fallbrook) to buy the car. He came in on his day off, which I that was awesome! When I got up there it was flawless. He introduced us to a salesman (sorry I forgot his name, last name Ireland maybe :) ) who took some more info, then we met with the finical guy who went over all the paperwork. We were in and out super fast and I was stoked about the price!! My only neutral is that because we drove so far we were just wanting to get home. While we were getting ready to go someone came out and said I had to go back In To set up my bluelink. Something that can totally be done at home. I went to purchase a new SUV and the financial Manager offered me 4500 less than Edmonds said my car was worth for trade and adds over 5K on every car on his lot plus over 800 for a sealer? Over a thousand for a Security system and so on. My credit was harmed because of a divorce so I was informed to get a co- signer and that was probably the best thing that came out of this experience. These dealers are ripping us off this 5K and all the other added stuff over the manufacturer suggested price! Be very careful folks!
