I purchased my 2016 Kia Optima from this dealership as a pre-owned vehicle about 4-5 years ago, and it currently has only around 90,000 miles. I've now had both passenger-side windows fail -- first the rear passenger window stopped working, and now the front passenger window completely dropped into the door and won't roll back up. I'm struggling to understand how a vehicle with under 100k miles ends up with multiple window motor/regulator failures. After doing research, I found many owners reporting similar issues, which makes this seem like more than normal wear and tear. I reached out to both the dealership and Kia hoping for some goodwill assistance due to the repeated failures. Instead of receiving meaningful help, I was told I needed to pay for diagnostics and was given an estimate of roughly $2,300 to replace both passenger-side window assemblies and motors. What made this experience even more disappointing was feeling like dealership management showed little interest in helping despite me purchasing the vehicle through them and being a long-term customer. I asked whether any assistance, goodwill repair options, or cost-sharing could be considered and was essentially told I would be responsible for the full amount. I was already unhappy with the price I paid when I originally purchased the vehicle and felt I paid a premium expecting quality and support. Having major repeated failures like this before 100,000 miles and then receiving no meaningful help has been extremely frustrating. I expected better reliability and better customer care. read more

I WAS SO UPSET WHEN LEFTED YOUE DEALERSHIP HEAD TO ANOTHER KIA Dealership I went to exit the freeway and go home he ruined it for me as a new customer. OH hell no he is not ruining my day instead I went to another dealership they were absolutely amazing friendly took me for test drives of the different level of the Sportage then I purchased the X-LINE AWD/FWD . So the moral of this story is, you shouldn't treat people wrong. You shouldn't treat people like they don't have the money to buy a car. Don't want to waste your time with them and you need to learn how to deal with the public because you lost about a $75,000 sale last night. Saturdays consistently suffer from a shortage of mechanics, and this has affected service quality. This was the second time I experienced excessive delays due to mechanics calling in sick. It may be worth reevaluating whether this location should remain open on Saturdays for the safety of your family. Background: On Saturday, May 24th, I brought my car in for its 40K service, which included a tire rotation, oil and filter change, and a complimentary multi-point inspection. I also reported that the car was shaking at freeway speeds (65-70+ mph) and asked them to check the alignment. I was told that the alignment machine wasn't available that day and that only one or two mechanics were working that day. They advised me to return on a weekday for the alignment. Since I had a long trip planned to Los Angeles and San Diego (~322 miles), I scheduled a follow-up appointment for June 4th. Upon arrival, the service advisor performed a visual inspection and asked me to turn the front tires to check the inner tread. To our surprise, the front tires were severely worn on the inside due to misalignment and needed to be replaced (see picture). They initially offered to sell me a new set of tires, but since they weren't in stock, I would have had to wait until the next day. I declined and went to a different tire shop for new tires and alignment. At the new location, the technician inspected the tires and confirmed that this level of wear would not have occurred in just 11 days. It should have been caught during the May 24th inspection and rotation. This raised serious concerns that the tires were never rotated or properly inspected. I returned to the Kia service center a few days later and spoke with the service manager. I explained the situation and showed him the service report, which falsely indicated that the tires were in good condition (see picture). He said he would investigate and follow up. A few days later, he called back and said the mechanic had seen the tire damage but didn't think it was serious. They offered to refund the cost of the tire rotation. However, the issue wasn't the money--it was the fact that my family's safety was compromised due to negligence, and no corrective actions or process improvements were promised. This location also pressures customers to leave positive reviews. I was encouraged to give a high rating, which I did, but later found I couldn't change it (see picture). I will be contacting Kia Corporate to report this incident. I hope they address the staffing shortages and ensure that all listed services are properly completed. No family should be put at risk due to incomplete or negligent service. read more

We bought our car last Saturday and the check engine light came on the next day. We brought it into the Kia Dealership, I over heard one of the mangers saying we will only pay for the diagnostic. He did not know I over heard him say it to Olivia the repairs rep. Not at any point did someone reach out and apologize about what had happened. I had to take the day off of work to get the car diagnosed. I had a friend run a diagnostic before turning it into Kia in Perris. The diagnostic stated it was the Catalytic Converter. When I told Olivia she stated they reset the check engine light. To my understanding they never checked my concern with the catalytic converter. She just stated let's wait and see if the check engine light comes back on. I told her I would not pay for it. She did not reassure me that it would be covered. Poor customer service read more

Outstanding, Great experience! Needed to replace my 8 yr/178K Kia. On a Fri, was brought in by Adam A. and met with Joseph H. who test drove with me and showed the car. These 2 staff are stand up guys! Adam has a boisterous presence, underneath he's kind, likes to make jokes, and likes to see customers drive off happy in their new car. Joseph has a super calm and polite personality. Over 10+ years, he knows the industry, the numbers, and sales tactics, but he is not patronizing and does not have an ego to try to "one-up" the customer to close a sale. He's attentive to your situation and listens you. On the Fri, I sat down and we exchanged offers. No sale at that time, and the next day I visited 2 other dealers: One down the road and the other in Palm Springs. Those experiences weren't great, the sales Mgr in PS was arrogant, manipulative, stereotypically greasy and untrustworthy. And their cars had HIGH markups. In the meantime, Adam kept calling me the next day, determined but not pushy, stated they were a fam business and really wanted to get me the car. Long story short, I went back on Sunday (2 day shopping total) and I got the new car. Joseph and Adam worked together bringing my offer up the chain to the sales Mgr. Later I met the finance guy, Freddy, who was also chill, and the Sales Mgr Joe who was prior service like me and engaging. It did seem like a close knit, family environment compared to the bigger dealers who have high mark-ups, high pressure, and treat you as just another number. Especially since this was our 3rd kia! instead it turned out to be the beginning of a series of opportunities for them to hide behind excuses. it all came to a head because the tinting was bubbling; their story was that it was not a kia tint and we would have to go back to the victor valley dealer: without any help from them. because we were persistent, we ended up in a room with the sales manager and the service manager. i'm sorry to say that the results were the same: they did not help us get the tinting issues corrected. worse than that, they didn't even offer to give us our first oil change for free. these guys are just bad. read more

Steer clear of this dealership & more specifically these men pictured. Michael who is now the finance manger was a salesman when we leased a Kia ev6. Michael told us he was discounting the car to 33k around 37k after tax, title, licensing, etc, since it had been sitting around the lot for a year (it was a 22 and was leased in 23). They also leased us a scratched car to which they advised we bring it back & promised to buff it out & charge it as we got it not charged as well. We brought it back & they "buffed" it out which actually made it worse & then said sorry that's all we can do for it. They did charge it fully though. Well, turns out, 37k is not what she paid, about 50k is what he put on the documentation and she only realized it when she tried to upgrade to a newer model & nobody would do it because she owed more than it was worth & the only reason that is, is because they lied and manipulated the situation to bate & switch causing her to owe more. Later in the lease we brought it back & explained the grievances with text message evidence from 2023 & they advised there is nothing they can do to get her out of her lease & into a legitimate one. The crooked salesman is now a finance manager so I know he's doing crooked deals. The sales manager & GM also were involved and they too advised there is nothing they can do to rectify the situation that their employee put us in. They chose to not make it right and maintain a Kia customer. Audi would neverrrrrrr! This is & will be the last Kia anybody I know will ever purchase or lease. I will be sharing with my large following on social media & contacting arbitration as well! Took my Kia Niro hybrid in because the check engine light came on and another light that I didn't recognize. Olivia in service told us she would call us with the diagnosis and we already grabbed a rental from Enterprise which is right down the street. She called the next day saying that the hybrid battery was faulty and needs to be replaced. She said fortunately in California they have an extended warranty and it will be covered as well as the loaner car. We trucked down there, turned in the rental, walked to Kia, signed the invoice and paperwork and were on our way home. She said it would take 5-7 business days for the battery to come from Texas. She called on the 4th day and said battery is in but they found a faulty module and gave us an estimate of $1200 and gave her the ok. Next day she called and said ready for pickup. We went down the following morning since it was late in the day. Total for module and labor was $789. We have had the car for a week now and every thing is working well. read more

This dealership is a joke. I took my Kia Sorento in for recalls on it. I spoke to Carlos by phone and he said to bring it in and it would be done in 4 hours. After the 4th hour of not hearing back I called to get an update. Carlos said, "I've been trying to get ahold of you." To which I replied, "I have no missed calls." He then responds with, "isn't your number 951..." and I say, " no, my number starts with 562." He then proceeds to say that when they were attempting to change the rear view camera, the rear view windshield shattered and won't have anyone to go fix it until the next day. He offered to put me in a loaner. I said I don't have a ride to pick up the loaner. He then says he can send a Lyft. At this point I'm irritated because I just want my car fixed. I tell him that since I'm declining the loaner and Lyft they should at least give me a complimentary alignment and tire rotation. He said he can't do that. I said but you guys broke my windshield. He says nochalantly, "yeah it happens" Really?! Long story short I spoke to Eddie the service manager and he said he would do the alignment but can't guarantee a tire rotation because they have a hectic day. My husband went the following day to get my car and there was only one lady at the service desk. Everyone else had gone home. When my husband got the car the passenger front seat and drivers seat had sand or dirt on them. I know for a fact that my car was clean when I took it in for service because my husband drives it for uber and did a few rides the morning we took it in for service. If you know anything about driving for Uber or Lyft your car has to be spotless clean. It is unacceptable!!! I can't believe we were treated that way. Kia service Perris is a joke! We have gone to this location for at least a decade and never had an experience like this. We take in our car after noticing that after we fuel up and come home with a full tank and store our vehicle in the garage, that our garage would smell like gasoline. At first we thought maybe it's an escape from not tightening the lid correctly. So we tightened it and after a day of use the smell went away. The fallowing time when we fueled up again, the same smell came back so we opted to buy a new lid that would better tighten and again after a ride around the smell would go away. Well long story short it happened again and we decided to investigate and check the fuel pump and sure enough there was a leak. We take it in to this location and they give us the run around and say they didn't find any leak when they were told that there was a leak in the fuel pump. Well they say we checked the engine and didn't find anything. So we figure maybe they don't know where the fuel pump is and so we tell them where it's located to help them out a little. Make their job a little more easy. Well, they say they checked and found no leak, no evidence of any leak and even have a video to prove it. So in attempt to replicate our experience with the smell, we take in our own gas because they wanted to charge us ten dollars per gallon to fill up our tank to see if they could smell the fuel and or see the leak. We leave it yet another day so they can inspect the following day and they say they found nothing. By this time a week has gone by they say we have to pay for them inspecting our vehicle and charge us three hundred plus with discount included. Mind you Kia Motors web page has a bulletin regarding this specific problem and states that it is covered under warranty. We qualify under this warranty. So we pick up our car and bring it home. We inspect it ourselves and sure enough there's a leak and it's wet and here we go again to show them the evidence and like a dog with its tail in between its legs they have to admit there is a leak and are refunding our money. To top it off a salesman makes a joke to be careful with such women(employee) because she has the number to ICE. In the times we are living as a nation he made a poor choice of words. I am very disappointed of the service and treatment we have received from this location/employees. What an embarrassment. Side note it has taken 2plus weeks for a full refund. Worth the drive from Orange County Bought new EV9 with help from Dilcia and the experience was very smooth. I was at dealership for under two hours including test drive (they let my wife and I take it on our own), signing all the paperwork and then Dilcia helped me set up phone and Kia Access app. Before arriving, I talked to Dilcia over the phone and she was able to confirm a good price for me. She also worked up the out-the-door pricing so I know there would be no surprises. She even offered to put the car on hold for me (on a Wednesday) so I could come on Friday when my wife and I did not have to work. Overall - excellent friendly service from Dilcia. Unlike another Kia dealer I visited (Car Pros in HB), Perris Valley Kia did not try to force me to buy any overpriced dealer add-ons that I did not want. They did the sales pitch on extended warranty, but I politely declined and that was that. Overall, this was probably my best experience at car dealer. It was worth it to make the trek out from Orange County since the dealers in OC either tried to force a lot of unwanted extras or would not commit to a price before I visited dealer. The service center is unreliable, unorganized, and extremely uninformed. I've scheduled two recall appointments sent from the manufacturer, both times I have left there WITHOUT THE PROBLEM fixed. First time with an oil cap sat for three hours before I was informed they didn't have the part, when the appointment was scheduled for that specific reason. And yesterday I dropped my car off for an engine recall that came in the mail and the service department was familiar with, they took my car in with my information and told me they'd contact me the next day.
