This is for GOScH Ford, I saw an ad for a Ford Bronco for $48,000 a base model, I called and spoke to someone and said I am a 2 1/2 hour drive away, I saw the ad, what is the price, as I am used to the dealer scams. They said $48,000, I asked for a sticker on it, they said it's $48,000come on down, I made the 2 1/2 hour drive, they called me along the way to make sure I was coming, and when I got there, they were super polite, super nice, showed me the Bronco, I said great, I'll take it, when we sat down at the sales table it all of a sudden became $74,000 plus tax and license. Dealer mark up, they said, extras they said. I told them, no, you said $48,000 , they said are you stupid... how about we go $68,000, I said I would think about it and left... This is what is giving dealers bad names. read more

If I could give a ZERO star rating, I would. Called about an F150 listed on AutoTrader. When they called me back they said their auto trader price was inaccurate and said truck was actually $17,000 more than their listing price and that their "system was down" and that's why the listing number was inaccurate. She then proceeded to ask me if I'd like to hear about other trucks and options available. I said I'd be willing to pay the price on the listing today and said she'd forward me to the manager, then she hung up on me I get that trucks aren't cheap - this listing WAS indeed too good to be true. Note: False advertising is completely illegal in the state of California. In fact "Business and Professions Code 17500 BPC is a California statute that prohibits false or deceptive advertising to consumers about the nature of a product or service. This covers false or misleading statements in print, digital, or any other advertising media. Took in my truck for some warranty work, was notified my rear breaks need to be replaced, went ahead and told them to take care of it. Once I picked up the truck, I noticed there was a grinding noise coming from underneath, came to found out the skid plate bolt was not tightened. But that was the only thing that was messed up, the two bolts from the rear caliper were missing, it messed up my new breaks and wheel on my truck. I've preferred taking my Truck to Ford service, because they know there trucks, and they weren't that much more than any other mechanic. Until recently they wanted to charge me $1,100.00 for a $200.00 part. Then they tell me if I lie on the survey the clerk who sets up the appointments won't be dinged financially. So Ford will punish the person who isn't responsible for pricing just because he/she interacts with customer. Wow when did Ford become so political? BEWARE OF DECEPTIVE PRACTICES! When doing a battery replacement I asked about the manufactured date of the new battery. The parts department then offered and promised me a battery they had that was dated 12/21. After they installed it I noticed the battery was dated 10/24/21. Really not a big deal except they didn't do what they promised. However when I pointed this out to advisor "Alex" when picking up my vehicle they offered to exchange it for the 12/21 battery. At that point everything was fine and I considered that great customer service. About 30 minutes later they had finished. Upon inspection I could not tell if it was the 12/21 battery because the date had been rubbed/scratched off. However, the advisor assured me it was the 12/21 battery. Once home I inspected the battery again under a magnifying glass and bright light. As you can see in the photo the date is 10/24/21. I spoke with the parts Manager to cancel an unrelated order I had made since I didnt want to do business there any longer but she said she was going to charge me a 20% restocking fee. I told her about the deception but she stated she took a loss when the battery was exchanged and they should not have swapped it. HUH? I explained twice again that they actually never swapped it out! She insisted they did and would not budge about the restocking fee. Wow! What crazy deception and outright lying. I couldn't live with myself if I had tricked someone like they did to me. It's just wrong! I reported this to General Manager "Rick" and showed him what they did to the battery date who said he would make sure there was no restocking fee for the other parts order. Time will tell while I monitor my credit card to see if they refund the whole price of the unrelated parts. Obviously I will never give my business to a business that has employees that lack basic human decency. I suspect it's a Leadership issue that probably fosters this type of behavior. My daughter has purchased three cars from Gosch Ford over the past years and I have purchased two cars. Our daughter had her daughters Ford Fushion towed to Gosch Ford on Monday September 20, 2021 and the service has been terrible. Phone calls not returned and really all they had to do was check the battery when the car was first brought in as its most likely just a dead battery. Our daughter and son in law have made several phones calls to find out what's going on but no one returns calls. Gosch use to have outstanding service back in 2004 when wee bought a brand new Ford Escape. Its very sad to see the service decline like this. UPDATE!!!! They are finally working on the car....Lets hope Gosch can turn this initial poor service around..... Wednesday Sept 22 11:47am and no communication from Gosch Ford concerning the work on the car. A call was made to Gosch this morning but no one answered.... Its absolutely ridiculous not to let the customer know whats going on. They have had the car since Monday Sept 20 I will update again as needed.... Well, after two days Gosch finally found out the electrical problem on the Ford Fusion and got it fixed along with a new battery.... Please do yourself a favor and read this in its entirety...then run as fast as you can to any other dealership. We had an old trade in Ranger that has needed parts since November. No idea why, but they never came in, more issues arose, time for something new. All we wanted was A/C and a working Sirius/XM stereo. Since we like the service department, we made the mistake thinking sales was the same. We settled on a used truck. Complete with prior owner info in the glove box and a boatload of dog hair. FYI Gosch accuses you of perpetuating fraud when you bring in a pre-approved bank note to purchase a vehicle from one of their embarrassingly incompetent salespeople, insisting they must "run your credit" regardless, even though it is 100% unnecessary. The sales manager cannot articulate the process with ease or decorum as to this invasive procedure without arrogance, condescention and combativeness. He does not appreciate being questioned, considers answering them a waste of his precious time & he makes sure you know this. Angry for having to explain, while accusing you of perpetuating fraud. "WE have to prove who YOU are." "YOU could be lying!" He emphatically repeats. As if anything he has can actually PROVE who you are. We came in 100% pre-approved by our bank. Yet, they claim they must "run our credit" forcing us to prove we are not "criminals" or "commiting fraud," and that we are not "tėrrorists." Yes, I said Tėrrorists, that is what we were called. "We don't know you." "You could be lying." "You could have printed this bank note on your laptop." Well, I don't know you either, Sales Manager "Steve." What is my guarantee you won't steal my social security number? Jesus, all we wanted to do was buy a car from a local business. But no. If you are still going to buy from Gosch, be prepared for the most invasive, personal, unnecessary Q&A you will ever experience from a complete stranger. I opted out, flat refused to participate because none of it was any of their business and had nothing to do with a vehicle purchase. Also be prepared to be there at least 6+ hours. Seriously, it is astonishing how long you will be there, even with pre-approved financing. Bring water, lunch and whatever else you need to camp out for the day as there is nowhere else to go. We had to psycho call to get a response to get it fixed and were told (1) to take it and fix it ourselves, or (2) we should just use our cell phone and the auxiliary port. I should've known better, and read the reviews in advance to going to the dealership. Very deceptive business practices had preapproved Ford credit application going in told them that. Was informed that they needed to create a profile on me, and that they would not need to run a credit check Yet they did. When I confronted them about why he said I told you I want was going to get you the best deal. He never said he would re-run a credit check. Then the salesman said we couldn't find your credit application on file. I told him he never asked me because I had the credit approval email on hand terrible. Terrible. When purchasing a new vehicle, they will insist that you must fill out a credit application whether financing your vehicle with Ford or not. They will tell you this is for demographic and tracking purposes. THIS IS THE LIE! A Ford Pass credit card will show up in your mail shortly after. It's astounding to me that Gosch Ford Hemet would be so short sighted and burn a customer relationship at the very beginning. I would never do business with them again, sales or service. I'd give one star, but the 2nd star is because of how nice the salesman was. I was texting the internet manager all day about leasing a fusion. We talked numbers in our conversation and she finally talked me into coming out there at the last minute on labor day. She said she would work some magic! When I arrived, she immediately passed me off to a salesman who didn't know about anything we had talked about. The numbers were even higher than what I was already discussing with the internet manager. With $2k down, they had my lease payment higher than a Mercedes lease. My credit is over 800, I have no car payment, and I just wanted to upgrade my 2015 fusion before ford stops making them. I'm just upset I wasted my time and mileage driving out there. I called my warranty company and they informed me they pay the dealer MSRP for the part and use a national guideline book for labor charges but this dealer service dept. UPS THAT PRICE. Be prepared to be with out a car for a week with little communication. They send you a useless automated text that says it will update you about your vehicle but my rep told me that it didn't work. OK THEN Why send it?? Also, I would advise if you do get stuck going to this dealer to CHECK YOUR MILEAGE. My IN/OUT mileage on receipt was off by 2 miles and I found a trash(receipt) for a taco shop down the road in my drivers seat floor which was dated and the time was at noon WHEN I DID NOT HAVE MY CAR. Service Dept. leaves much to be desired. Dropped my car off on Monday for a check engine light and rough start. They promised a call by Tuesday afternoon. NO CALL. Called Wed morning, they said it came up with an error code for cyl #2 and it was escalated to an engine mechanic and said I would get a call by Wed lunch time, NO CALL. Went in to help my son purchase a vehicle. Had great service until the "manager" Jesse got involved. Adding things (twice) to our contract we didn't ask for, and even after specifically saying do not add these items in; tried to say he was doing us "favors". And then my son got denied; so then I had to co-sign for him; paperwork then shows me as the buyer and him as the co-signer. It's no big deal they tell us; then we contact the bank to find out why he hasn't received instructions on how to make his monthly payment and they say because the loan is primarily in your name. Very angry at this of course. Then we get paperwork in the mail of why he was denied the loan, they requested an amount over $13,500 for an $8,900 vehicle (with which he had a good size down amount) - well of course he got denied!! We had problems with the "manager" Jesse the entire visit; if he starts getting involved with your deal I strongly urge you go go over the numbers again and ask for a summary of all charges, it's not done automatically! We just wanted to use a local dealer to keep our money and taxes local but I think we've learned our lesson. I drove it. Nice!. Went inside to talk more about the car, pricing etc. We showed them the email that was sent that very morning to me. We were told that "it didn't count", because they had already reduced the price of the car some days prior! So, apparently they send out emails telling you things to get you to go to Gosch Ford Hemet. We did get a half a tank of gas free, but we had to ask, it was not offered (per email). I cannot say enough about JP Polasek he was very polite and answered all my questions and treated my parents and I with respect and made us feel welcomed and like family. So after driving two hours to purchase a truck at the Hemet Dodge dealer down the street from this dealership only to have a bait and switch. My husband and I decided to drive around to see if there was anything similar as to what we want. We saw this dealership had a used Ford F350 dually and decided to check it out. The usual swarm of salesmen were hanging out in front and one of them came running up to us. He wasn't very knowledgeable about this truck, but did offer us to test drive it for half an hour by ourselves. We decided to try it. The truck drove great, had very low mileage. He explained that this truck has the low mileage and was most likely driven as a weekend truck for toy hauling. But the inside of both front doors of the truck had stickers suggesting it was used as a Hot Shot truck. It was a nice truck. We liked the feel of the power of it. Something justdidn't feel right regarding the commercial stickers and mileage. I'm not saying the dealer did anything. Driving this truck opened our eyes to consider possibly buying a Ford. The sales tactics are not annoying like other dealerships. Loved the idea of being able to test drive a vehicle without a salesman bugging us in the vehicle. This would have increased my ratings here on Yelp. The reason I lowered my rating is that our salesman cursed way to much. This is very unprofessional. I get it if we were using the same type of language, it might be okay. We were not speaking this way to him. Also, it would be nice if their salesmen would be more knowledgeable of the vehicles that they are selling on their lot. read more

Take your money elsewhere! Once they sell you a car they don't care about you as a customer anymore. This was my first purchase at this dealer and let me tell you it will be my last. A long time and repeat Ford customer, this was the worst experience I have ever had buying a car. They tried to add a $5,000.00 premium to the sticker price and when I refused to pay that I was treated very badly and disrespectfully. The General manager did not respond to my e-mails or answer my phone calls about any of this. This car a 2021 Ford Escape was delivered to me with two items that I did not want but was told I had to purchase them because all of your cars come with them. These items I find out are not even installed on the vehicle and I received a due bill that states I'm owed nothing. Theft device Why was I required to purchase this at a cost of $1,400.00 and the care doesn't even have it? Surface Protection (Platinum Finish) also not installed on the vehicle $895.00 item again why was I required to purchase this when the car does not have it installed? After talking to the salesman several times now he says that I need to bring in the car to have these items installed. I informed the salesman that I do not want them installed and never did want these items in the first place and was forced to pay for them because I was told they were already on the vehicle which is not the case. I am believing that if I had not noticed that the car did not have these items and started asking questions no one would have told me, and I would have paid a lot of money for something I did not receive and did not want to begin with. FYI: This car was a dealer trade from Glendora Ford I asked because it still had that dealer license plate frames on it and the car was not as clean as one would expect it to be, when I asked about this, I was told that it just came in. I was able to get them agree to refund these charges, I'm currently waiting to see if my loan was credited or not. This was my 2nd ford car from this dealership in 3 years and my 9th in the last 25 years form other Ford dealerships, I can only guess that repeat customers are not important to Ford Motor Company anymore as this will be my last Ford I purchase! read more

What a difference a couple months can make! Apparently some MAJOR changes and hirings/firings have taken place because this isn't even like the same dealership! I decided to give Gosch another shot because I live here in Hemet and sell homes here in Hemet and want to be able to say I support my local businesses! So I happened to wander in and talk to Justin Mascolo. He was super laid back, not pushy, asked about what I wanted and didn't try to sell me anything or even try to get me inside of the building. We kind of wandered around, I left and told him I would be back! We ended up coming in the following week and buying a brand new 2016 Ford Edge...well my MOM bought one because she loved it so much! I am buying one next :) I would like to say that Steve Knauss and Spencer Pipitt were also very helpful in the process! I will be back in the next week or two for my new car! Thanks guys! read more
