Disappointing/criminal post sales experience with Tim Moran Chevrolet…read more I purchased a barely used car ~5000 mi from Tim Moran Chevrolet remotely and they charged me for things I didn't get (keys), replaced the mats the car was equipped with using worn mats (easily 50k mi wear from a different model car), delivered the car with no temp registration AND expired tags. They then proceeded to promise to make the issue right claiming they would be overnight sending me the key I paid for (Monday morning 3 weeks ago) and some sort of compensation for getting it programmed and cut, ordering me mats and having those shipped and NONE OF IT HAS HAPPENED. I've been dealing directly with the general manager and sales manager, named below which apparently means nothing. When they called me back they said their auto trader price was inaccurate and said truck was actually $17,000 more than their listing price and that their "system was down" and that's why the listing number was inaccurate. She then proceeded to ask me if I'd like to hear about other trucks and options available. I said I'd be willing to pay the price on the listing today and said she'd forward me to the manager, then she hung up on me I get that trucks aren't cheap - this listing WAS indeed too good to be true. Note: False advertising is completely illegal in the state of California. In fact "Business and Professions Code 17500 BPC is a California statute that prohibits false or deceptive advertising to consumers about the nature of a product or service. This covers false or misleading statements in print, digital, or any other advertising media.
