Because of my past experience I went back to Tim Moran Chevrolet in Hemet. Initially I spoke with a young man named Marcus telephonically, he initiated the contact. I found Marcus to be very confident, polite, and professional. So on Thursday I made a visit to the dealership. I went back on Friday to pick up my new 2026 Silverado High Country. Bottom line, I went in to speak with Marcus, unfortunately he was not available as my visit was unscheduled. I met Ricky, we spoke of many things to include the challenges of trading in a 2025 and navigating the depreciation value, he showed me what was available, what I wanted was not available, he went to work immediately trying to locate the vehicle that I wanted. At this point I met Cole he assured me that they would find the vehicle and make a deal I would be comfortable with. Ricky and Cole went above and beyond and did exactly what they said they would and more. I would be remiss if I did not mention the most stressful part of buying a new vehicle FINANCE! As the process continued I made it to finance, fortunately it was the same specialist from 2025 Hector. Hector was a pleasure to work with in 2025 and he was a pleasure again in 2026. When they called me back they said their auto trader price was inaccurate and said truck was actually $17,000 more than their listing price and that their "system was down" and that's why the listing number was inaccurate. She then proceeded to ask me if I'd like to hear about other trucks and options available. I said I'd be willing to pay the price on the listing today and said she'd forward me to the manager, then she hung up on me I get that trucks aren't cheap - this listing WAS indeed too good to be true. Note: False advertising is completely illegal in the state of California.
