However, my shopping experience at the Spectrum location wasn't great in the past. It felt like customers weren't really given the basic level of attention or courtesy you'd expect. But over the past few months, this location has completely turned around, and I'm updating my review from one star to five stars. The team here is now genuinely warm, helpful, and attentive. One person who truly makes a difference is Gen Mac. She is one of the kindest, most patient, and sweetest people I've ever met in retail. She helped me pick out a beautiful new earring set, offered great suggestions, and even assisted with an exchange always with such positive energy, even when I walked in close to closing time. She never made me feel rushed or unwelcome. Now, my mom and I love visiting this store so much that even when we don't need anything, we find ourselves stopping by just to say hi or buy something small. Sifting through some of the other reviews, it seems that the service here is hit or miss. My one experience here was great though! If you have the money to invest in one of their items, I recommend one of their charm necklaces. I bought the heart charm one from this store and wear it all the time. It translates well from casual to/from professional settings. The necklace still glistens/shines even after all the showers it has gone through. I have multiple pieces from here and have never had an issue before, but I had one necklace that I got last year, and the clasp had started wearing and falling off easily. Amazing customer service! They are always very helpful and knowledgeable with their jewelry. I am such a huge fan of Gorjana pieces. It's made very well in comparison to other brands, and I especially love their fine jewelry here. It's dainty and really pretty. I have a lot of Cartier and Chanel rings and the Gorjana 14k gold rings match perfectly with my stack. Some of their 14k solid gold pieces in the display cases have real diamonds too! I love their diamond bar ring. It is my favorite one I wear I'm my pointer finger. They drops new designs and pieces every now and then, so it's good to come back to see what is new because you can't have too much jewelry! Jk. Well, I wear jewelry daily and mix and match my pieces with different outfits because it's fun and helps keep me feeling happy on a daily basis lol. I love gold and diamonds. I visited on a Friday evening, which was quite busy but fortunately Farema (I'm so sorry! I already forgot her name but it was a beautiful unique name) approached and greeted me while I was browsing their selections. I asked her a lot of questions especially when it came to prices of certain items and she answered very nicely and was very patient with me. I also came with my cousins who were just browsing since they were mostly there for me to look for some new studded ear rings. This store has a great selection of fine jewelry. Even though I didn't leave with items that I actually came for, I bought other items that I fell in love with. My cousins and I ended up buying a ring to match each other. Farema (sorry again :( if this isn't your name) was very patient with us when choosing our rings because my cousins wanted to make sure we all agreed on the same style of ring and the same font of our initial. We never felt rushed and she even helped us choose our sizing too. She also helped me try on a heart ear ring because I even had trouble placing it in my ear lobe, which I fell in love with and ended up buying. It kinda bums me out to see the negative reviews for this location as I haven't had that experience at all. I've been here twice and have had a salesperson greet and help me with trying out earrings both times. I will say they do tend to steer you to the fine jewelry section, but since that's what I'm looking for anyway I don't really mind. Jen (or Jan? I ended up purchasing a hoop for my helix and a huggie with a white sapphire for my second lobe. To start, I really love gorjana and honestly this is the only location I have ever been treated with rude and unhelpful staff. Yesterday, The manager, I assume, came up to help me after I had to do a return of something that came to me online, after showing her the customer service emails I was rudely told "we don't work with our customer service team" and "as I said before". I know gorjana and I have shopped there multiple times. The fact that she couldn't do a simple return and credit as many other locations have done in the past was quite unreal to me. I ended up just walking out and emailing customer service for a return label to ship it back and mentioned my frustration. Irvine Management should really change here, as I see this is a common occurrence of issues. Thankfully I have only had to deal with this woman once. read more

I rarely write reviews, but I had to for Jen! I had a necklace chain from 4-5 years ago that had tarnished. While Gorjana has a great credit policy for damaged items, this particular piece holds sentimental value, and they no longer carry it. After I explained my situation to Jen, she went above and beyond by offering to replace the chain with something compatible so I could keep the charm. Other Gorjana locations I've visited would simply offer a replacement and leave it at that, but Jen's empathy and willingness to find a thoughtful solution truly stood out. read more

Before the store opened we noticed a team of 3 guys disinfecting the store. Once they were finished, the store opened and we were greeted by Lauren who was wearing a mask. I've been to this store several times now, yet I haven't bought anything. Each time I've gone with the intention of buying a few gifts. Each time I have been ignored. I've waved down sales people. I even had two ask me to move aside the other day so they could get items from a drawer. One time I actually had a sales person help me momentarily, but when she realized I was interested in the layering necklaces and not the fine jewelry, she walked away as I was talking to her. Then she ignored me after when I tried to get her attention again. The store was not busy that day. Perhaps it's because on a couple of occasions I've had my young child with me (pro tip: a mom with a small child is more likely to buy quickly and be more open to the upsell because that child does not want to be in that store). It's very disappointing. I think the jewelry is beautiful, but the service is terrible. read more
