I did a very detailed search of roofers in my area and selected New Roof Plus based on their work done in the Highlands Ranch and Littleton areas. We really wanted to move from an asphalt roof to a metal stone coated using Decra. Decra recommended New Roof Plus and I immediately spoke with Greg to have him come out and do a bid on my property. Greg was incredibly knowledgeable about the product and walked me through the roofing material and process they use to install the roof. He gave me about 15 names and addresses in the local area that New Roof Plus had completed that I could reach out to get their references. I called all 15 individuals and physically went to see their roofs. The jobs that they did were just beautiful, all the references highly recommended New Roof Plus and it was clear that we wanted to do business with New Roof Plus and signed that day. Greg provided daily updates about the job as it was started and eventually completed. It took about 4 days from start to finish to remove the roof, install the new roof and get everything approved through the permit process. Greg's team worked incredibly hard and delivered such a beautiful final result. I would highly recommend Decra product as it has a 50-year warranty and your insurance will even give you a discount on your home owner's insurance. My mom has had Decra over 20 years through multiple hail storms and it looks just as good as when it was installed. Greg's team did a great job cleaning up the job site and ensure everything was properly cleaned after the roof was installed. Dawn runs the front office at New Roof Plus and got all my paperwork ready for my insurance company so I could get all the discounts on my roof and did so in the same day as when the roof was completed. Start to finish, I am completely thrilled with the final result. It was a pleasure working with Greg and the team at New Roof Plus. They delivered a great result and did so quickly to help me get the home back in order for my tenant. The #1 problem most consumers have is the cleanliness of the crew while working. DRS was impeccably clean throughout the process. Instead of just tossing debris off the side of the roof they made sure to either bag it up or throw it directly in the dumpster while demoing the old roof. I cannot find a single nail in my yard or driveway and if you've ever had a roof replaced you understand that is no easy thing to accomplish as a roofer. Also, the roof system they installed is flawless. My old roof had all kinds of areas where the shingles didn't overlap properly but that is not the case here. All of the flashing is super clean looking without any loose ends. I will not hesitate to recommend DRS in the future.

A 2nd roofer in the neighborhood offered to take at look at the roof. When he & our insurer (Allstate) was done, there was $22,235 damage found on the roof alone, not counting window flashing, gutter & gutter screen damage, along with 2 sides of the house needing hail damage putty & paint. The 2nd roofer took the time to negotiate "apples to apples" with Allstate as they weren't going to replace the roof with same level of materials as was damaged. Furthermore, the roofer advised us that there were 4 layers of felt on the roof atop the OSB, when the roof building code says 1. Assured did our roof twice due to Certainteed shingle delamination, so 2 of those layers of felt was their work in our current history. I will be asking to see the permit from the City before & insist the City take a look after it's done. The cost is worth it. I now have a class 4 roof at no extra cost.

I've had some problems with the gutters and paint work. The gutter contractor did come out and take a look at the gutters and attempted to fix the issue I was having. I would NOT hire this company to do any painting on the exterior of your home. I would recommend hiring a separate contractor for that. I've had problems from day one with the paint work. I finally gave up even going back to them to have them address the paint issues. Also, I'm pretty sure one of the painters stole a large light blue crystal that I had in my back yard called amazonite. It is irreplaceable and it is something I found while hiking. One of the younger men was helping me move furniture off of the deck and literally gasped when he saw the crystal. I didn't think much of it at the time but it went missing after all the work was done. Unfortunately I didn't realize this until much later because I was caught up in having all this work done to my home and dealing with the issues. I'm very upset about that because it's something I can never replace. I would have given 4 stars if it wasn't for a irreplaceable item being stolen and the issues I had with the paint work.

I'm very disappointed with the workmanship from this roofing company. The issues had nothing to do…read morewith the shingles themselves -- the problem was the installation. The crew nailed the shingles far too low, which compromises the integrity of the roof and can significantly shorten its lifespan. Proper nail placement is basic roofing knowledge, so this was extremely concerning. In addition, they reused materials that should have been replaced, which raises further questions about their standards and attention to detail. We had AVI come out 3 separate times and all 3 times they kept stating the issues was NOT theirs but would not give us a straight answer on the real issues until we had to hire another roofing company to repair their work. To add insult to injury , AVI charged us each time they came out ($500). Quality installation is just as important as quality materials, and unfortunately, that standard was not met. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering this company carefully inspect the work and ask detailed questions before signing off on a project. *** 3/3/26 response to AVI about my review*** We purchased our home in December, and the roof was installed in October -- just two months before we took ownership. Within three months of living in the home, the shingles began lifting and coming off. That is not normal wear and tear, and it certainly raises concerns about workmanship. Regarding not being able to find our name -- that may be because we purchased the property after the roof was installed. The work would likely be listed under the previous homeowner's name, not ours. I would encourage you to review your October installations at that address rather than searching only by our name. Both my husband and myself have spoken to your company several times and had 4 different people on separate occasions come to our home. Not once did you mention the error with nailing the roof even though pictures show this poor workmanship. It is also concerning to hear you state that you do not warranty your work after only 2 months! A roof should last years, not months. Regardless of ownership changes, a recently installed roof failing within such a short timeframe speaks for itself. We are simply sharing our experience so others are aware. We had to hire another company to correct the issues and ensure the roof was properly installed.
