We recently had three very old skylights replaced in our sun room. William scheduled a time to review the project quickly, gave us a reasonable estimate, and scheduled the work much sooner than we had hoped. His team arrived on time, went straight to work, and did a great job with a minimum of mess. They were cordial, competent, and charming, even in the 90+ degree heat. When William came back to inspect their work the following day, he even took the time to remove the interior cover on one of the other skylights (not one they replaced) to clean out some debris that had accumulated. He did not have to do that and it was much appreciated. The new skylights are great - so much that I wish we could afford to do them all! Eventually. And when we do, we will call Skylight Magic - no need for a second estimate. read more

We've had a really good monsoon season here in Southern Colorado. One Saturday afternoon, during a downpour, I passed by my bathroom and found a puddle on the floor. My skylights (I have two, both in bathrooms) are original to the house, built in the 80's, so a leak wasn't necessarily unexpected. I called around - Skylight Magic was the only company that was able to come out almost immediately. They did an inspection, gave me impressions (as to repair or replace) and a price. I accepted and the install was set up for the very next day. The installers were on time, courteous, did the removal of the old ones and installed the new in just a few hours. In Arvada, CO, our old skylight tube collapsed. The manufacturer was out of business. William brushed all of that aside and came by to look at the situation. In a few moments, after a quick diagnosis, he re-attached the tube in a sturdy manner that will really last. When I offered to reimburse him for the time & materials, he cheerfully declined. Our skylights let in a draft, let in noise, and caused the surrounding drywall to become damaged due to improper installation maybe 20 years ago. Skylight magic was very quick to fit us into their schedule and their prices for the windows and labor were very reasonable. Will was very kind and great to work with- He went out of his way to show up for the free consultation in the middle of a snowstorm AND he was on time!! He also immediately figured out what was wrong just by looking from the inside. We noticed a big difference in noise level and warmth on the first night! I love my replacement skylights, they are beautiful. They kept me informed throughout via phone and texting. I thought I would need a custom sized skylight but Skylight Magic remeasured and saved me money being able to use a standard size. They were informative regarding the kinds of skylights that I could choose from for my space. The installer arrived on time, identified himself and got to work. The actual replacement only took under an hour to replace 2 skylights. They offered to put down plastic to protect my room as they said often times removing the old skylight debris can fall. No debris occurred but it was nice that they covered all bases. The whole process from start to finish was a little over one week. I highly recommend this company. read more

WHO DOES THIS ANYMORE? Our solar tubes which added the light we were looking for were installed approximately 25 years ago and we loved the quality and workmanship of this company. Our roof was replaced recently and the roofers left a mess in and around our skylights. I made the call to see what they could do and was pleasantly surprised when Willian came out and cleaned & repaired the flashing around the skylight AT NO COST to us. I am so happy with my decision to go with Skylight Magic. I hired them to replace two very old acrylic skylights with Velux skylights. When William first came out to give me his free estimate, he was on time, very kind, and took the time to answer all of my questions. He was extremely patient in the weeks that followed, while I e-mailed him several times with follow-up questions. He always responded promptly, and answered my questions each and every time. On the day of the install, Josh and another gentleman came to do the work, and they were right on time, as well. Josh was extremely polite, kind, and attentive. He did a fantastic job, and the skylights look wonderful. My next door neighbor hired a different company for her skylights, and the difference was well worth the $200 more that Skylight Magic charged. The other company did not put down any plastic in the house under the skylights, and the rooms were a mess afterwards. That company did not clean the skylights after putting them on, and I could see a slight gap between the shaft and the skylight. But with Skylight Magic, there was NO MESS in my home, the skylights sit flush with the shaft, and they cleaned them up after installing them. They look perfect. I could not be happier with my decision to pay just a little bit extra for a much higher quality job. I highly recommend them. read more
