We loved Gordon Ramsay Steak! This place was absolutely incredible! I love everything here! The service, the food, the ambiance, the decor. We had tea, pork belly, crab cakes, short rib, potatoes, mushrooms, brussel sprouts, chocolate cake, toffee pudding and coffee. I loved everything I would come back to AC just for this place! So amazing. Our server was very attentive and nice too. The bar had plenty of seating. The dining room had lots of seating and comfy booths as well. read more

Below average to not very good. 2.5 stars for me. Rounding up for service. Restaurant is nice. Homage to old style steakhouses. Dark wood, red light accent, low light in general. Started with the lobster bisque. Was meh. There was a tiny bit of lobster at the bottom. Advertised maybe as 2 oz. Seems like a fraction of that. Consistency of tofu and flavorless. Also had a Caesar salad. Was good. Maybe heavy on mustard, if I had to guess. Entrees were a fillet with truffle fries and a ribeye with a baked potato. I didn't try the fries but they were largely uneaten by the family. My kids typically love truffle fries, but not these. Baked potato was fine if but very small for a steakhouse. Fillet was ok. Kids liked it, wifey did not. Ribeye was not good. I ate maybe 10% of it. Waiter noticed and took it off the bill before we had a conversation. Ribeye was overly fatty, which I get is the point. But wasn't marbled, was just a giant fat deposit under the cap. The chew was tough and more like a NY strip. But too grainy. I'd be shocked if that was Prime or dry aged. Chewed like Choice or less. read more

I was so excited to come to this restaurant. , the ambiance was so modern , and cute and very fancy . The service was ok . Seemed as if we were an inconvenience to the waiter to be honest . The food was spectacular. To start we had the bone marrow appetizer, my main course was the beef Wellington and my husband got the prime rib special. The prices were fair . read more

The food was incredible, the staff were just as incredible, and the vibe was perfect for a fancy dinner with friends! I opted for the 18oz Delmonico Steak, and it was worth every single cent I paid for it!! Cooked to perfection, every bite melted in my mouth, and felt like a true luxury experience. I pared the steak with a "Philly old fashioned" and the two make for the perfect combination. read more

I went to Gordon Ramsay's while enjoying a belated Mother's Day solo trip to AC. Everything was wonderful. While I'm used to dining solo I was not made to feel rushed or ucomfortable which I much appreciated. The filet was perfectly cooked for me. The Brussels sprouts were delicious, I'm only sad I could not eat more of them! read more

I recently visited the Gordon Ramsey at the Harrah's in Atlantic City for dinner and was beyond disappointed. Harrahs itself is depressing, but the restaurant ambiance was nice. but I was really disappointed in the food. I tried the beef Wellington that he's supposed to be famous for, and it was dry and tough! I had to saw through with a knife. The roasted root vegetables were practically raw, my carrots crunched so loud my companion could hear it. My companion had the short rib which was also dry despite the gravy. We were also celebrating a birthday and noted it in the reservation, neither the hostess nor the waiter mentioned it. I definitely plan to visit Atlantic City again, but would never eat here again. read more

An amazing dinner. I dined here with 5 of my friends for a birthday dinner, and we had an amazing dinner. We ordered i think a little bit of everything. To start, the service was a 10/10. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable. He also cracked a few jokes with us as well. He offered some recommendations that helped the table choose cocktails and such. We were constantly checked on by members of the staff to ensure everything was okay. The service was amazing. Now on to the food. I enjoyed the New York strip steak. It was a little overcooked for me. But it wasn't a bad steak. I also ordered the fingerlings potato's that came with Parmesan and garlic. Pretty good just needed a little more salt. The birthday girl ordered a filet, which she enjoyed along with spinach, my other friends ordered the pork chop, Mac and cheese, beef short rib which came with mashed potatoes. We also ordered a rack of lamb with a side of grilled shrimp. That side was asparagus. For appetizers we ordered the oysters. From both the east and west coast. We also ordered the jumbo lump crab cake. For drinks, i ordered a Lemon drop which was amazing!! The only thing that wasn't my favorite was the crab cake. I've just had better. All in all, great service. Decent food and a nice ambiance. Great drinks too. See pics below. read more

Why were we seated half an hour after our reservation time? No clue! We were there to celebrate a VERY special occasion which I did mention to the host who took us to our seats as well as to the server. Was there any special gestures made? No. Not even a candle on the desserts WE paid for. Rookie mistake... and this docks them major points - a whole point to be precise. At a good restaurant, one expects the staff to make their special occasion memorable. The lack of effort made was off putting. On a regular day, it would not be the case. Anyway, coming to the food - overpriced but some of it was exceptional. The rest, rather forgettable. The highlights - - Hamachi Crudo (5/5): fresh, texturally adventurous and packed tons of flavor. - Beef Wellington (4.5/5): beautifully tender beef and the accompaniments, like the potato puree and spherical veggies were good too. The glaze or demi-glace drizzled onto the potato puree was a little bland. If it were a little sweeter or more acidic, it would have been a 5/5 dish. Other: - Sticky Toffee Pudding (4/5): exceptional cake, slightly over-sweet toffee sauce - missed the opportunity to have more depth, and the ice cream tasted great but the texture was icy... - Side of Broccolini (4/5): perfectly cooked but does this warrant the sticker shock? Supremely overpriced. - Steak (4/5): not the best we've had but not bad. Just not memorable. Our service was a little hectic too - the server misheard a few times - portioned our Beef Wellington in two when we never asked for it. Got us an extra drink when we never asked for it. Nonetheless, we ended up paying for it all... Zero accountability shown. Poor service, food is decent, ambiance is great. Worth a visit but definitely not to celebrate anything special.... unless we were just unlucky. read more

I stopped in for a quick, last-minute dinner with a friend on a Saturday night. I made a reservation while en route, and we were seated immediately upon arrival. The restaurant was clean, nicely designed, and about half full, which was a pleasant surprise for a weekend evening. There's plenty of seating and a stylish bar area--definitely a comfortable spot for a casual dinner. I ordered the scallops because I'd recently had dental work and needed something soft. They were just okay--not bad, but not especially memorable either. Our waiter was very kind and attentive, which I appreciated. One thing that really surprised me: for such a large restaurant inside a resort hotel, there's only *one* toilet stall. And it's shared with another restaurant. That felt like an odd setup, and it's something I'd definitely keep in mind for future visits. Overall, I'd come back to try something different from the menu. But next time, I'll make sure to use the restroom beforehand. read more

Wasn't too busy on a winter Friday night so I opted for the bar. Bartenders were busy but were very attentive to those of us having dinner. Started with complimentary bread & butter with a Caesar salad which I enjoyed, now more of a chopped salad vs the old full leaves as I had my last time here. Ordered the filet med-rare, initially with the everything fries but I wasn't a fan of those so I ended up with the baked potato. All in all a very good meal, filet was cooked great & very tender. Giving it 4 stars mainly due to the lackluster fries IMO although noting that they replaced them with the baked potato. read more

went to gordons steak house for our wedding anniversary sat with our fav person victor that man goes over and above .he rocks

I'm sitting here, more than an hour after my meal ended, in absolute awe of the wonderful food I was served. Starting with the bread, wow what incredible bread. My wife really dislikes bread and she couldn't get enough of this. The food was cooked so fast I almost can't fathom how. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the Mac might be the best I've ever had. Hands down all around this was great. The only thing missing are some British beers but they do have one Scottish ale in a can. Really nice looking restaurant and one I absolutely will return to. Nice job GRS team! read more

We were seated quickly upon arrival, and our waiter was super attentive. He shared with us the specials and recommendations which definitely helped in making my selections. I had the roasted chicken and potatoes, I'd give it 8/10, they need to add more of the sauce that comes with it and it'll be a hit for sure. We also orders the crab cake and the Brussel sprouts, which were okay. The sprouts come with blue cheese crumbles and I wasn't much of fan of that. Overall the ambiance was nice, service was great and food was good too. I'll definitely be back read more

Had a very enjoyable meal here tonight with 2 colleagues. Food was excellent. The Beef Wellington was everything I hoped it would be. Cooked to perfection with an incredibly good sauce. What I thought was just unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber was the fact that their entire wine list DID NOT HAVE VINTAGES LISTED! Seriously. If Gordon Ramsey dined at a restaurant where wines were listed up into the thousands of dollars and no vintages shown he would call the owner a donkey, and I would agree with him! Time to wakey wakey Gordon. read more

Gordon Ramsay Steak - The famous Beef Wellington. Excellent. - Steakhouses Near Me - Atlantic City, New Jersey

I had much higher expectations for this experience. The Beef Wellington was served cold and clearly undercooked, while the ribeye was overcooked. Overall, the food was disappointing. Service was equally underwhelming. Our waiter had a poor attitude and was largely inattentive. I mentioned we were celebrating a birthday, but it wasn't acknowledged at all. He also never checked in about our meals, which made the experience feel even more neglected. Given the Gordon Ramsay name attached to this restaurant, the quality of both food and service was unacceptable. This experience fell far below expectations. Ambiance was ok, wasn't crowded. Not a lot of people and I could see why. Your better off at Hell's Kitchen we literally left after our meal and went to HK read more

I recently stayed at Harrah's and I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to try Gordon Ramsay Steak. The service was impeccable, truly perfect and I couldn't possibly ask for more in that regard. The ambiance was great -- it was upscale but with a casual, fun vibe at the same time, which isn't easy to do. Now, on to food and drink! The drinks were great -- in particular, their spin on the gin & tonic -- wow! The food was very good, I can't say that it wasn't, but it also wasn't good enough to justify the price. As a vegetarian, my options were limited but I knew that going in. Still, I expected more from the veggie-friendly options they did have. The burrata cheese salad was lackluster. It wasn't bad by any means, but it also wasn't anything to write home about. I also had the fingerling potatoes which were tasty but, again, nothing to write home about. My friend ordered the oysters and the filet mignon, both which she said were good but not the best she's ever tried. This was disappointed given the price and given the fact that it's a Gordon Ramsay establishment. All in all, I enjoyed the experience but I probably wouldn't go back. read more

I literally found glass in my food. I ordered the beef carpaccio, the waitress brought out the beef tartare and when I asked her if this was the beef carpaccio she said yes. I found glass in the beef tartare and when the manager asked what I found the glass in the waitress said ... in the beef tartare. So not only did she lie and serve me a dish I didn't order, it had glass in it! So appalled. Wouldn't let me take a picture of the glass she took it away before I could, even though I told her I wanted to see it again to take a picture for my own sake. Manager came out and said if it makes you feel any better "we think it was plastic". Such bad service and how tf do u put glass in someone's food? Definitely not worth the hype at all. Came here with a large party celebrating a bachelor party and came away largely unimpressed. Everything was just okay but nothing special to justify the price. Birthday dinner here - we had reservations and checked in and sat down. The waitress took a little while to come over but once we were settled in things went well. We started with the pork belly which was kind of odd in this configuration. It was good - the sauce was thick and overall the dish was succulent. For dinner I ordered NY strip medium - which came out properly cooked and was garnished with an au jus sauce. We shared crispy brussel sprouts which also had a similar sauce as well; and the cheesy mac and cheese. These both were good. For dessert we shared the chocolate cake, which came with a scoop of ice cream and a lit candle for my birthday. Would recommend. read more

Service (hostesses and waitstaff) were wonderful. We got the beef wellington and branzino, which were both delicious. The only reason I am taking one star off is because the side we ordered (truffle macaroni and cheese) was very small and bland, it did not taste of truffle at all. Had a great evening and dinner at Gordon Ramsay Steak! Originally had reservations at another of GR's restaurants that had to be cancelled and this honestly was sooo much better! Overall food and service were great! Thank you for making the evening special for the birthday celebration. Love the decor and ambiance of the restaurant. Definitely the stencil of Gordon Ramsay - would love the see Halloween pumpkin carving of it! The high back seating chairs were very comfortable and noise level was just right. Our servers were great - thanks to Joe and Alex for taking care of us along with the hostesses out front. Reservations are a must to dine here else one can chance eating at the bar. Complimentary bread with rosemary butter - fresh baked bread was very good and nicely salted butter...yum! Cocktails - specialty cocktails to choose from or vino. Decide on wine. Malbec for this dinner. Will try other cocktails next time. Appetizer: Tuna tartare was good - could have done without the raw onions but good. Main entree: the menu has variety to choose from... decided on 1) beef wellington - perfectly cooked and very tender and 2) chilean seabass (my fave) - perfectly cooked and delicious - loved the presentation - could have done without the prawn head and perhaps veggies instead of potatoes. Ordered side of shitake mushrooms - was just perfectly delicious as well... so stuffed! Kudos to chef and the staff on the entire meal !!! Dessert: Thank you for the complimentary birthday mini toffee pudding. Chocolate peanut butter bar with raspberry ice cream was good to share as well. Hot tea to top off the evening. Will definitely be back again! Glad we came her to dine! So far #1 of the Gordon Ramsay restaurants that we eaten at! Note: Give yourself plenty of time to find parking at Harrah's and time to get to the restaurant as you get 15 minutes grace period. Restrooms are outside the restaurant. read more

My husband made reservations at this establishment for an intimate Valentine dinner. The hostess at the front wasn't as welcoming as I would have expected. There was still a 25 minute wait to be seated, even with reservations. Our waiter Joe was nice but seemed too busy to provide stellar service. He did however recommend the beef Wellington which was spectacular! For drinks their lemon drop martini with a sugar rim is phenomenal but my complaint here is the whole glass was sticky . For this type of establishment I expect a bit more detail. Their oysters are fresh and tasted perfect with the cocktail sauce and vinegar. They were cleaned and ligament removed which made for a perfect mouthfeel. The porkbelly on farro 20/10! One of the best apps I ever had. Most tender pork belly seared to perfection! The halibut with lump crab was beautifully cooked and seasoned very nicely. Their lobster mac and cheese is a force to be reckoned with! Ample pieces of lobster in a most creamy al dente pasta made for a perfect accompaniment to the entrees! Awesome food! The minus one star, the service needs tayloring and I wasn't fond of the way they bring the plastic containers for you to pack your own leftovers. A suggestion would be biodegradable products with to go utensils provided guests are staying at the resort. read more

My partner has been trying to this steak house for a while but it seams every time he was in AC the place was closed which it is Monday and Tuesdays. We did the bartender seemed at first stand offish but honestly she later warmed up we order the wagu beef tartare at the bar while we waited which was perfect. When we were seated we were attended to quickly and kindly. We ordered wagu filet and beef Wellington plus side of mushrooms and creamy spinach. Everything I can say was delicious except the beef Wellington it was good not what I remember their Vegas counterparts to be so I was disappointed my partner in crime fad never fad it I felt sorry to share this one with him it was good but he wasn't a fan ...everything else was delicious.
