An amazing dinner. I dined here with 5 of my friends for a birthday dinner, and we had an amazing dinner. We ordered i think a little bit of everything. To start, the service was a 10/10. Our server was very nice and knowledgeable. He also cracked a few jokes with us as well. He offered some recommendations that helped the table choose cocktails and such. We were constantly checked on by members of the staff to ensure everything was okay. The service was amazing. Now on to the food. I enjoyed the New York strip steak. It was a little overcooked for me. But it wasn't a bad steak. I also ordered the fingerlings potato's that came with Parmesan and garlic. Pretty good just needed a little more salt. The birthday girl ordered a filet, which she enjoyed along with spinach, my other friends ordered the pork chop, Mac and cheese, beef short rib which came with mashed potatoes. We also ordered a rack of lamb with a side of grilled shrimp. That side was asparagus. For appetizers we ordered the oysters. From both the east and west coast. We also ordered the jumbo lump crab cake. For drinks, i ordered a Lemon drop which was amazing!! The only thing that wasn't my favorite was the crab cake. I've just had better. Why were we seated half an hour after our reservation time? No clue! We were there to celebrate a VERY special occasion which I did mention to the host who took us to our seats as well as to the server. Was there any special gestures made? No. Not even a candle on the desserts WE paid for. Rookie mistake... and this docks them major points - a whole point to be precise. The highlights - - Hamachi Crudo (5/5): fresh, texturally adventurous and packed tons of flavor. - Beef Wellington (4.5/5): beautifully tender beef and the accompaniments, like the potato puree and spherical veggies were good too. The glaze or demi-glace drizzled onto the potato puree was a little bland. If it were a little sweeter or more acidic, it would have been a 5/5 dish. Other: - Sticky Toffee Pudding (4/5): exceptional cake, slightly over-sweet toffee sauce - missed the opportunity to have more depth, and the ice cream tasted great but the texture was icy... - Side of Broccolini (4/5): perfectly cooked but does this warrant the sticker shock? Supremely overpriced. - Steak (4/5): not the best we've had but not bad. Just not memorable. Our service was a little hectic too - the server misheard a few times - portioned our Beef Wellington in two when we never asked for it. Got us an extra drink when we never asked for it. I stopped in for a quick, last-minute dinner with a friend on a Saturday night. I made a reservation while en route, and we were seated immediately upon arrival. The restaurant was clean, nicely designed, and about half full, which was a pleasant surprise for a weekend evening. There's plenty of seating and a stylish bar area--definitely a comfortable spot for a casual dinner. I ordered the scallops because I'd recently had dental work and needed something soft. They were just okay--not bad, but not especially memorable either. Our waiter was very kind and attentive, which I appreciated. One thing that really surprised me: for such a large restaurant inside a resort hotel, there's only *one* toilet stall. And it's shared with another restaurant. That felt like an odd setup, and it's something I'd definitely keep in mind for future visits. Overall, I'd come back to try something different from the menu. Had a very enjoyable meal here tonight with 2 colleagues. Food was excellent. The Beef Wellington was everything I hoped it would be. Cooked to perfection with an incredibly good sauce. What I thought was just unacceptable for a restaurant of this caliber was the fact that their entire wine list DID NOT HAVE VINTAGES LISTED! Seriously. I recently stayed at Harrah's and I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to try Gordon Ramsay Steak. The service was impeccable, truly perfect and I couldn't possibly ask for more in that regard. The ambiance was great -- it was upscale but with a casual, fun vibe at the same time, which isn't easy to do. Now, on to food and drink! The drinks were great -- in particular, their spin on the gin & tonic -- wow! The food was very good, I can't say that it wasn't, but it also wasn't good enough to justify the price. As a vegetarian, my options were limited but I knew that going in. Still, I expected more from the veggie-friendly options they did have. The burrata cheese salad was lackluster. It wasn't bad by any means, but it also wasn't anything to write home about. I also had the fingerling potatoes which were tasty but, again, nothing to write home about. My friend ordered the oysters and the filet mignon, both which she said were good but not the best she's ever tried. This was disappointed given the price and given the fact that it's a Gordon Ramsay establishment. All in all, I enjoyed the experience but I probably wouldn't go back. read more

Birthday dinner here - we had reservations and checked in and sat down. The waitress took a little while to come over but once we were settled in things went well. We started with the pork belly which was kind of odd in this configuration. It was good - the sauce was thick and overall the dish was succulent. For dinner I ordered NY strip medium - which came out properly cooked and was garnished with an au jus sauce. We shared crispy brussel sprouts which also had a similar sauce as well; and the cheesy mac and cheese. These both were good. My husband made reservations at this establishment for an intimate Valentine dinner. The hostess at the front wasn't as welcoming as I would have expected. There was still a 25 minute wait to be seated, even with reservations. Our waiter Joe was nice but seemed too busy to provide stellar service. For this type of establishment I expect a bit more detail. Their oysters are fresh and tasted perfect with the cocktail sauce and vinegar. They were cleaned and ligament removed which made for a perfect mouthfeel. The porkbelly on farro 20/10! One of the best apps I ever had. Most tender pork belly seared to perfection! The halibut with lump crab was beautifully cooked and seasoned very nicely. Their lobster mac and cheese is a force to be reckoned with! Ample pieces of lobster in a most creamy al dente pasta made for a perfect accompaniment to the entrees! Awesome food! The minus one star, the service needs tayloring and I wasn't fond of the way they bring the plastic containers for you to pack your own leftovers. Delicious Mothers Day dinner... Started off with some fresh focaccia bread and butter and we split the Wedge Salad along with the Creamy burrata. Excellent way to start off dinner. So decided to come here on a whim with babe since we were staying at Harrahs. We were told that there was no wait if you sit at a high table or the bar so we chose the bar. The bartender Melana was awesome she was on point with her recommendations. Our drinks were super strong so no complaints there. What a fantastic experience! Walked in and was able to sit in the lounge area which was dimly lit and very cozy and comfortable. We started off with the lump crab cake that was just appetizing! I had the filet mignon that was amazing. Cooked to perfection. Just the right size. Our servers were all very helpful just was not appreciative of how I sink so far down in the booth being a tall human I felt miles away from table - small potatoes. It took a hair longer on bread and apps but drinks came out quickly. We ordered everything all at once so it was surprising that it didn't come out correct. I am so tired of going to these high price steak houses and the food is "ok" at best. When the free bread is the best tasting thing you've eaten then there's a problem. We did arrive to our reservation 15 minutes late and surprisingly we were still able to be seated. We started with crab cakes and the lobster mac, it was decent at best. The mac tasted like it was made using cheez its. I had the flavorless filet mignon, the watery mashed potatoes and spinach. My husband had salmon they he eventually gave away to our daughter because he didn't like it. After my experience I wished they would have sent us away when we arrived late. I wish I had spent my birthday somewhere else that has great food and not just a name. I expected sooooo much more from Gordon Ramsey's restaurant. Essentially we paid over $300 for the Gordon Ramsey name. Never again. read more

It was the last day of restaurant week in Atlantic City. I was excited to make a reservation for dinner. For an appetizer I had the Butternut Squash Bisque. It  had a hint of sweetness, the pumpkin seeds gave it a little crispness to the texture of the soup. It was hearty. My main course was the Salmon. It was a great portion. I usually don't eat the skin of my salmon, but it was seasoned perfectly, so I ate it. It's the best salmon I ever ate. The dessert was a sticky toffee pudding. It was delicious.  Liezel told me the dessert is Gordon Ramsay's moms recipe. It's the first thing that he learned to make. Overall the interior is beautiful. The wall of knives is a nice addition.
