I expected more of the famed Gordon Ramsay place. Went there on a Saturday. About a third of the tables were occupied. Service was friendly and the food came out quickly. I ordered two sliders, truffle fries and the watermelon lemonade. The slider patties were well done but all I could taste was salt. Maybe the cheese was overpowering or maybe they just overdid it with the salt. There wasn't so much as a whisper of sauce. The fries again were overly salted. The water tasted like lemon water with bits cucumber in it. I couldn't taste the watermelon. Prices were reasonable. All in all, I expected better and I left disappointed. We stopped by here for my husband's birthday dinner as my husband is a fan of Gordon. We have tried a number of Gordon's restaurants in Vegas over the years so I decided to make the drive here to try and compare. I had made reservations and the restaurant was busy when we showed up. We waited a short time before being seated. Our server was quick to drop off water and menus. We ordered the 24 Hour Burger, Blue Cheeseburger, Kids Hot Dog, Blackberry Sweet Tea and Sticky Toffee Pudding. Food arrived shortly after we placed our order. Flavours were amazing. The blue cheeseburger had just the right amount of blue cheese flavour without being overpowering. The meat patty was juicy, meaty and savoury. My onion rings were nicely seasoned with a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese and chives. My husband enjoyed his 24 hour burger. I took a bite of the brown sugar bacon and it was delicious. Our child found the hot dog bun to be too fancy for his liking. He did enjoy the actual hot dog and fries. For dessert, we ordered the sticky pudding as it was something we ordered in Vegas too. It was very good as well. The warmed date cake was covered in sweet toffee sauce and topped with ice cream. It was rich and decadent. Ambiance is more casual than the Vegas location. There was some Gordon themed decor around the restaurant. There was no acknowledgment for the birthday even though I booked and mentioned it on the reservation. The kitchen was fast to send food out which was great. Prices are a bit higher than other burger places, but you are paying for the gourmet burger experience. This was my first time coming here, and I purposely waited until the hype died down a bit. I'm glad I did because I came at a not-too-busy time, which made the experience much more enjoyable. I like the location a lot being just outside of the casino makes it easy to access without having to deal with the casino crowd. The restaurant itself has a cool vibe with nice decor that feels modern but still comfortable. I was honestly impressed by the burger. Not bad at all. I ordered the Farmhouse Burger, and it really delivered. The bun stood out to me I could be wrong, but it felt like it might be made in-house, and the ketchup tasted house-made as well. Everything came together really well and didn't feel overly heavy. They also pack a generous amount of fries into the tin bucket, which I definitely appreciated. No skimping there. My roommate and I came here to celebrate our joint birthday, and we had an amazing time! The food was delicious, and they are able to sub a vegetarian patty onto any burger (for a $3 charge). The servers were also very friendly. The restaurant is connected to a casino, but it did feel very separate. I drove all the way from South Van to try this restaurant. Been planning this for quite some time. The place is nice, clean and spacious as you can see. There's a restaurant and a bar area. Both can accommodate huge parties. I was the only one though at the bar at the time. All the burgers looked great on the menu. I decided to try the Blue Cheese Burger with regular fries and Phillips Lager. It was a big serving, fresh off the grill with caramelized and fried onions with blue cheese. It smelled good too! The bun was just the right size for the patty, not oversized or too small. I should have ordered a medium or dark lager instead of the light one, that went nicely with the burger. You can change the side for an additional charge, like the truffle parmesan fries -- which sounds like a good idea, or a side or ceasar salad. It comes with their house-made ketchup which is a little tangy. It was a nice touch. Overall, I'm satisfied and was worth the 45 min drive. Both the lovely K and I are Ramsay fans, so it was only a matter of time before we made the trek to his burger joint. The entrance is a little strange, but it is a casino after all. The decor is kind of cool, a little understated, but it wont be difficult to find Gordon here, at least on a print. Our service was great, provided by a very helpful young lady, whose name we didn't catch. The only drawback is how far she has to go to get drinks, as there is not a bar in the restaurant. I ordered the Brunch burger which comes with a fried egg in it, while the lovely K had the French onion burger with onion rings. We also tried the Street Corn dip as a starter. My burger was great, the egg jumping out and landing on the table thankfully, when cut. The fries were piping hot and plentiful. The onion rings were a little too much batter and not enough onion, but they sure looked nice. The French onion burger was a little sweet for K, but otherwise very good. The corn dip was excellent with more than enough chips which we find is a fall down in many places. It's not a cheap place to eat, but in our opinion, it's worth the price. Going into this I had super low expectations as some of my Yelp Elite peers were hating this place hard. I am expecting to be gouged and shoved with some terrible dry English burgers. Curiosity beckons. Nothing could be further from the truth. First off, GRB is located in a death valley of a place of sheer ugly ville. C grade architects copying some horrendous examples from 1970s. What is going on with the armpit of an entrance? Man, this is gonna be bad -so I thought. Walked in to a swaanky bright hip hop modernized diner of Americana style. GRB ensures you don't get mixed up with old USA by plastering ample of British flags and photos of good ol Gordon Ramsey. Not too different from the selfie crazed youths. Fatiguing really - But ok, at least it isn't the shjt show of the exterior. . You get a B for interior design. Food wise, GRB was A+. Both the Stout and Farmhouse burgers were the BEST burgers I have had in GVRD. Umami, creative, unique. Definitely it is a cut above every single burger joint in town. The Kettle Chip Nachos was also spectacular. With such large helping globs of braised beef, cheese, cheddar sauce and pickled pepper and green onions, it was flavourful. So much thought has gone into the items to make them outstanding. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was warm with a spoon of ice cream. Twas sweet. Overall, if you are judging the meal by price against your average burger joints like Five Guys, Fatburger or Red Robbins, yes it is on the posh side. But if you are judging GRB from the point that it is from the capable hands of a Michelin Star winning chef, then the price is reasonable. GR can command this sticker price because he is that good. If it is beyond your budget, may I suggest White Spot across the street for 1/3 the price. The service was mediocre, Sandeep disappeared for a long time without refilling our water and giving us napkins. But was very eager came bill time. He stared at pOS machine while I was contemplating the tip %. He knew his service was kinda poor but wanted to give some social pressure for insurance. C-/D for service. First time in Gordon Ramsay burger but 3rd time in a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. This one had all the decor and ambiance you'd expect for a casual dining restaurant that's attached to a casino. We visited about 30 mins from closing on a week night (they close around 10pm) and were sat right away in a fairly empty restaurant. Service was prompt and friendly explaining a few things on the menu, but we had to ask about the specials and children's menu. You'd think having a child with us should've prompted them to let us know about the kids offerings. On to the food... I ordered the Backyard Burger with a Caesar salad, my partner ordered a Stout Burger also with a Caesar salad, a kids cheeseburger with friends and fruit juice and an Oreo Crème Brûlée milkshake. The Backyard burger was a basic burger with some Tomato, lettuce and onions. The patty was overcooked and quite dry, but the fresh toppings lent a hand in preventing the sandwich from being too dry and unpalatable. The Stout burger on the other hand, was not saved by its toppings which consisted of fried crispy onions, fried mushrooms and nothing in the way of fresh ingredients. Such a shame as the favors were pretty decent and complimented each other. The kids cheeseburger patty was also dry and overcooked. You may be sensing a pattern here... With all three burger patties being overcooked cooked and dry, I would guess that this is by design. Not sure why they would do that, but something to consider when ordering. Best to make sure you order a burger with moist & fresh toppings if the dryness of the patty might be a concern for you. The salads were standard fare. Well dressed and testy but nothing noteworthy. Same can be said of the fries. They're just fine but nothing memorable. The Oreo Crème Brûlée milkshake was memorable however. A rich Oreo milkshake with a crème brûlée pudding on top. It's essentially a dessert in itself! This was outstanding, if a little too rich to be a beverage accompaniment for a big burger meal. Would I return? I'm glad I tried it, but probably not. Prices are too high for what are essentially overcooked burgers that aren't really special or memorable. I actually think somewhere like Red Robin has better burgers with juicier patties, better topping selections and lower prices. read more

Good times at Gordon Ramsay Burger in the Great Canadian Casino in Coquitlam, BC! They have an extensive menu of burgers and it was hard to choose. We ordered: Hell's Kitchen Burger with fries Backyard Burger with fries Vegan Burger with salad Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich with onion rings Sticky Toffee Pudding So many protein options for burger and sandwich; something for everyone! Coming from a girl who does not eat red meat, I happy with the Vegan burger with salad. The service was great as our server was always checking in us every so often. Overpriced mediocre burgers. You would think that they served gourmet burgers if they slapped Gordon Ramsay's name on it but it was far from that. Onion rings - gigantic but 95% batter. I expected a thick piece of onion but it was thinner than burger king. The rest of it was batter. The batter was tasty but lots of oil on the bottom of the basket. Goat cheese truffle burger - goat cheese was extremely creamy making the burger enjoyable but there was 0 taste of truffle. The argula adds a nice touch. The bacon was super hard and curled up so only one side of the burger had bacon. Egg was nicely over easy. Lobster and shrimp sandwich - tiny tiny. It was made first and just sat there on the counter for 20 min while we ate our onion rings and waited for the other burgers to be made. It had one piece of a small lobster claw meat on the very top to show you there is lobster. However, the rest is just shrimp and the tiny little leg meats of the lobster. Hells kitchen burger - can that avocado be bigger? It was half an avocado unsliced. It was as thick as the patty. Terrible execution. Fries were ok. It comes with chipotle ketchup but it wasn't great and I didnt taste chipotle. More of just a smokey ketchup. Our server Sandeep goes out of the restaurant often and doesn't come back for lengths of time so our water wasn't refilled until the very end. We asked for the bill and the first thing he does is give us his "please review us" card and goes away for 5 min before giving the bill. Liked the goat cheese burger but is it worth $35? We came here on a Saturday to try the burgers. There was a sign at the reception indicating the special burger of the month - stout burger. Unfortunately there was no description of the burger or any price on the poster. We did ask the server and obviously we forgot what the burger had once he left. It would be so much better if there was something written about specials at the table, including the price. In the end I decided to get the Hell's Kitchen burger because I saw avocado and jalapeño. Again, if the server was upselling the burger by asking if we wanted bacon or egg etc, at least state the extra $$$, like it was in the menu for Caesar salad and other fries (sweet potato or truffle). People don't like to be surprised by the bill. I liked my burger but the jalapeño was more sour pickled than spicy. So that was disappointing. The sweet potato fries were really good. The best part of the meal. Another thing to note was the sun blazing into your eyes if you were seated facing the window on a sunny day. There were no blinds or shades to lower to keep the glaring sunlight out of the eyes and face. Service was ok though I felt a bit rushed to place our order even when the server knew we were still waiting for someone in our party. Also overzealous in removing plates when we were still eating. Burger restaurant attached to the Great Canadian Casino in south Coquitlam. Went there on a weekend afternoon, not crowded as it was in between lunch and dinner. Mid sized space, looks nice and new. Got the Hell's Kitchen burger. Avocado in combination of jalapeno actually is a good combination. The bun is pretty good. As for the beef patty, they don't ask you how well to cook the beef. The patty I got was closer to well done. The center is still juicy, but the edges are slightly dry. Overall still a tasty burger. Paid the upcharge for the sweet potato fries, and those were delicious and they gave plenty. The sweet honey mustard(?) dipping sauce was good. Their spiced tomato sauce tastes a bit weird... I prefer regular ketchup to it. Also tried their toffee shake for dessert. I liked it as it was not too sweet, and had a good consistency. Total was $40+ for the food. I came here with 3 other people. I ordered the Truffle burger with regular salad. The truffle burger was a bit of a disappointment. I can smell the truffle smell but I couldn't really taste the truffle flavor. The burger itself was very messy and greasy. For $35, I say the truffle burger was not worth getting. It came with an egg but the egg was nothing special. My salad was very plain and ordinary. Everyone else at the table got the Hell's Kitchen Burger. They said their burger was good but not something they found special. it wasn't spicy at all even though there is one chili pepper right beside it on the menu. We all agreed that the burger here is not something that we would crave for or make a special trip out to come back. I've always enjoyed watching Hell's Kitchen since Gordon Ramsay's show started. I was thrilled when I heard the news that his burger restaurant would open in Coquitlam. Consequently, I decided to wait for a month, anticipating a busy period right after the opening date. The ambiance was pleasant, situated just beside the casino area. We ordered the Hell's Kitchen burger and the Blue Cheese Burger, both served with fries. The fries were decent; however, both burger patties were overcooked and very dry. The buns were okay, but not impressive. Unfortunately, my Blue Cheese Burger, which included onion fries, was soggy. Considering the price, I expected a better experience. I wish they would expand their dessert menu. Fortunately, the restaurant is conveniently located just a few steps away from the casino. After dinner, we had a great time enjoying the slot machines and ended up winning $50-60. I hope the food at the restaurant improves for my next visit. I've wanted to try this place since it opened and today I had my chance. Friendly servers and decent service. I had the Hell's Kitchen burger with an upgrade to onion rings from fries. To be blunt, I was disappointed. The burger was barely okay. It was filling and the bun was good but those are the only nice things I can say. It was surprising bland and the meat patty was dry. The onion rings were over battered and all I could taste was the grease. Well, at least I can say I tried them. I want to preface and give this a 3.5 really - but Yelp doesn't let me do half stars. The service was impeccable and you could tell they were still in a learning phase I'd say. Nothing bad about that - it's just more training in general. I found the menu lacking a bit overall. The house made ketchup was a drag. It tasted like marinara sauce or that it truly belonged on pasta. Kind of a bummer pairing for our meals. The burgers also seemed a bit dense? They all tasted good just something was off for the meal. I was hoping for a mushroom bacon or option to "customize" some burgers but I settled for the farmhouse burger. It came with a fried egg and bacon. The egg was great - the bacon could have been a bit crispier 4/5 Lobster and crab roll. My aunt enjoyed this one - not much else to report back. Perhaps mini brioche rolls instead of one hot dog bun? 4/5 Backyard burger: 3.5/5 I don't know if I really liked the cucumber pickles to honest? This one seemed whatever to me Hell's Kitchen burger: 3.5/5 I didn't like the avocado with the roasted jalapeño. It really dulled the taste overall. Could have used more jalapeño (personal preference) The roasted tomato was good too in it. Oreo creme brulee shake: 3/5 the price at $10.75 was the toughest to swallow. The shake itself was fine but I wouldn't run back nor order it again for that high price tag. Service again was great. Mark was very kind and informative. There are washrooms inside the restaurant as well. Bright pink for women's and very clean. I feel like the front layout of the restaurant looks awkward with seating and the host box right there but it seemed to be used perfectly for a bigger family party. One comment I would say that I wish it was easier to reserve. When you originally go to call, the automated message tells you to go online but when you go online to OpenTable it gave such limited options I was worried that our party wouldn't be able to get a spot (showed 4:45 and 8). When I went in person, the restaurant was dead and the host reassured that it would be no worry to get seated at our designated time. I also wish the entrance was a little more highlighted at the door - for visibility purposes. I was really excited to visit this restaurant and while I'm glad I did, I'm not sure if I would run back at this time. After I saw so many propagandas about Gordon Burger, I decided to come to give a try. The restaurant's ambiance looks good. The smell of bbq outside of the restaurant was smell tasty. Their service is amazing, but the food was a little bit blah. We started with onion rings, they were so good. Than we tried out the chicken wings, and they were good. When we tried the burger , unfortunately Big Mag tasted better. No flavour and no spices. I think the chicken wings tasted better than the burger. I tried the chicken sandwich and it was not good too. I wish the burgers were more juicy with explosion of flavours. But the fries were so good and onion rings too. Hopefully they will get better. They were fairly busy (we were there at 6:30pm) which was nice to see. It was a good experience - Michael was our server and he was absolutely wonderful! For our burgers we ordered the ff; Truffle Burger truffle goat cheese,bacon,frisee,pickled shallots over easy egg and truffle aioli,Im no into goat cheese tho due to smell but I still tried this one,well it was really good no question about that,quality burger..it should be for its price,expensive. We also tried the lobster and prawn roll-serves on a toasted bricche and garlic mayo(average for its kind) and the Hell's Kitchen Burger mozzarella,roasted jalopeno,avocado,roasted tomato and jalopeno aioli(this one is very good as well)food presentation was amazing I felt I was in the Hell's Kitchen hahaha All burget serves with a toasted sesame seed briocche bun with fries or side salad. Expensive doesn't even begin to express this restaurant. $30 for a vegan burger is crazy, even though the burger was delicious. You are paying for the little things and that is what makes this place worth it! We started with the Beer Battered Onion Rings (Parmesan, chipotle ketchup, cheddar ranch, chives). These OR are the best I have ever had. Their ketchup is thick and resembles tomatoes paste but their winner is the cheddar ranch! It was phenomenally paired with the crisp batter. And these onion rings held so well together so the onion and batter were one. I got their special burger which was 2 types or mushrooms, crispy fries, and I upgraded to the vegan patty and truffle fries. The bun is perfections and toasted with butter. I appreciate that there is no sauce so it doesn't take away from the other flavours. The mushrooms are perfectly cooked and add such depth to the slightly dry but nicely dense veggie patties. Crispy onions are so clutch on a burger. The fries were disappointing. A bit undercooked but the real truffle was nice. A little underwhelming though. We then finished with the Sticky Toffee Pudding (Warm caramel sauce, caramel toffee ice cream). This was a perfectly executed dessert. The caramel ice cream was melted and the cake was moist and not overly sweet! Service was impeccable. At no time were we not impressed with the attention to detail and the thorough service. Ever spent $50 (tax and tip included) on a burger meal before? Here's your chance, folks! Here's the deal. It's a nice spot located at the Great Canadian Casino which was formerly known as The Hard Rock Casino. It wasn't all that busy upon my arrival late in the evening and the bar situated off to the side of the actual restaurant was an absolute desert. I figured the bar area would be alright for this quick meal and was offered any table I wanted. The server and their service were great. She had a lovely personality and demeanor. I can only imagine seatings in the area are pretty slim aside from large events or weekend crowds, so it was a pretty slow night for her. Ok.. the food. Yikes. $9.50 for an average strawberry milkshake that I finished before my burger got to me. That's on me. I was thirsty. $26.75 for the Blue Cheeseburger and an additional $3.50 for a caesar salad. The burger was pretty to look at, but the patty was overcooked and dry. I'm not sure what I was expecting, but it definitely wasn't that. The blue cheese in the burger was nice though, but then... How would even you mess that up? Good thing they didn't. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed. I'm pretty sure Gordon would be disappointed, as well. I first tried GRB when they first opened a few years ago, and had a very disappointing experience. I decided to give it another chance today and really wish I hadn't. A friend and I decided to check out their happy hour. Let's start with the drinks. It's strange that they don't have any alcoholic drinks on their happy hour menu, after all, isn't that what happy hour is all about? But I did try the watermelon lemonade and it was quite tasty and refreshing. For food we ordered all three sliders, a Cesar salad, the onion rings and fries. The onion rings and fries were average. A little cold, but not a big issue either way. The Cesar salad however tasted rancid. I had to spit out the bite I took, it was so awful. Either the lettuce or dressing (or both) was off. We told our server who took it away and sent the manager over. The manager said "I heard you didn't like your salad?", which I thought was a weird way to address it. Anyways she asked if we wanted a replacement but as that was the only salad option on happy hour we didn't want to chance it. The sliders were ok. My friend and I were splitting everything and I tried my 1/2 of the Hell's Kitchen slider which I thought was the tastiest of the three, although still nothing to write home about. However when my friend took her first bite of it she bit into something rock hard in the burger patty. Second spit take of the evening at our table (insert face palm here). Again we told the server who again sent around a different manager. He said the chef would check that burger patty, and offered us a dessert but we declined. He came back over and said he was taking the "sliders" off our bill and gave us two vouchers for milkshakes (which are useless as we both agreed we won't be returning). When we got our bill, they had taken off the Cesar salad and one slider. Very disappointing, both with the food and also how the managers handled the situation. Overall our experience was very poor, but I have to say that once again our server was great. Anyways we salvaged the evening by going to a nearby Browns Social House for a much needed glass of wine and dessert. After two try's I definitely won't be back; I think Gordon would be very disappointed with his namesake. read more

So many little hiccups amount to one overall poor first experience at Ramsey Burger. I ordered the fish and crisps sandwich with side garden salad. I received a Caesar salad instead, which they quickly replaced. The replacement side salad has an insect in it. I called the server to inform them and server inadvertently spat on my arm while apologizing, to which he quickly again apologized. The manager came over and again apologized regarding the insect and stated the item would be comped off the bill. Ended up it wasn't, so we paid. The Ramsey burger was just ok... patty was somehow partly pink, yet quite dry and under seasoned. Fish and crisps sandwich was also ok but had potential to be so much better. Fish was hot, fresh and crispy but under seasoned and had very minimal tartar sauce. Highlight was the Ramsey take on nachos - the kettle chip nachos with a curiously addictive sauce. Fries were hot and crisp. Friends were on the fence as to whether their truffle burgers had any truffle flavor... Gathering from my experience today, neither the serving or kitchen staff have much experience in their respective fields. Was not worth the steep prices. read more

This new kitchen and dining room at what used to be the Hard Rock Casino on Coquitlam (now it's the Great Canadian Casino, who knows when that changed?) would for sure get yelled at by Ramsay... lots of mistakes, lack of knowledge, delays... mostly regular kinks for a first day restaurant, but Mr. Intense-about-Mistakes would have been yelling for sure... We overheard more problems than we had, from burger patties too dry and overcooked to mistakes on several orders for one table, very slow (gotta say, I don't go to 'good' restaurants for quick service, but lots of people are impatient in the world today...) For reference, 2 of us got seated at 5:10, and we didn't finish until close to 7:30. Our experience was pleasant, and some of the food was excellent. Our server, Raf, was keen, slightly confused, slow but very careful about the many allergies at the table. Several food runners weren't familiar enough with the food to be able to answer basic questions (what's the dip that comes with the sweet potato fries? 'Garlic mayo' --good guess, but jalepeno aioli doesn't even look like it.) I have heard of kitchens having 3-4 weeks of full-time training for the staff before opening, and this clearly didn't happen here. Unfortunate, but everyone seems promisingly keen... On to the food... We ordered 2 burgers to share, both with side replacements (at quite a hefty mark-up, but where there's a $20 8oz glass of $26/bottle Black Sage Vineyard cab franc, don't be surprised when the sweet potato fries add $3.50 to the mid-$20s burger)... The specialty burger menu includes, which I would normally agree is special, a truffle burger. Had there been the slightest hint, smell or flavour, of truffle it would have been special. The goat cheese that reputedly included truffles tasted like ordinary chevre. Could have had truffle aioli, but it didn't taste or smell like it. Maybe a kitchen mistake, but while it was yummy, it was not truffle-y. The blue cheeseburger, on the regular burgers and roll menu, on the other hand --kiss fingers to the air! Amazing, bold, full of flavour, juicy and really well balanced. BIG bleu cheese flavour, the crispy onion ring was a great texture addition, and the onion itself was sweet and soft. The sweet potato fries are pushed over the top with a sprinkling of vanilla powdered sugar, and are crispy and salty goodness. The jalepeno aioli (if that was what we had --there seemed to be some confusion) was sweet with no heat whatsoever (or garlic, come to that. I would have guessed it was vanilla glaze, frankly, or the Halifax-style sweet sauce that's found on donairs out there...) Also, these come with chipotle ketchup, which we didn't try (allergies, again.) The caesar salad for some reason comes with apples, but that's an allergen so it was left off. The salad itself was lightly garlicky, lemony and fresh. Good, but served on mixed greens, which was kind of weird. Might have been an accident, as most of the lettuce was romaine, but there were bits of red leaf. It's also supposed to have kale in it, and I can't imagine why. Ours certainly did not, which was a good thing. The next table over had several version of the Yardbird, which looked good and they raved about. We rounded it all off sharing 2 shakes for dessert, the vegan mango coconut and, because they were out of the oreo creme brulee, the sticky toffee pudding shake (without the almonds, another allergy, but I can't imagine why they would be there in the first place.) The mango was refreshing, well balanced, not too sweet or acidic and really a lovely finish to a heavy burger meal. The sticky toffee pudding shake was also not too sweet, or too rich, with a texture in both the cream and the caramel / toffee like someone threw a cake into a blender. Not unpleasant, and definitely hints of the flavour of cake, but a very odd and unexpected texture... just so you know. Speaking of allergies: the kitchen and staff are super careful about every ingredient (and they know where to find the ingredient lists for everything!) which was very relaxing for someone with so many allergies to so many common foods. One final note: there is an interesting and creative selection of non-alcoholic beverages on this menu, which is very nice to see. The not-mojito was excellent! read more

Food came out quickly. Salad was very basic and underwhelming. Would not recommend the salad. The burger was spicy because of the roasted jalapeño, however the meat was dry, not juicy at all. Music was upbeat on the louder side. Sever was friendly and attentive. Three stars for dry burger and underwhelming salad. read more

The only review you need to read: Burgers - big patty, constructed well, stays together when eating, good quality ingredients. I'm seeing a lot of reviews calling burgers 'dry' whereas I would describe them as 'clean'. The fries, onion rings and burgers are all very refined. You're not going to have oily hands, fat dripping down your wrist or sauce mucking about. This is a burger and fries that fills you up without making you feel tired or gross. Ramseys name gives people the expectation that they're going to have a burger like they've never seen or tasted before. The reality of the Ramsey name is not in the burger being the best burger you've ever had, but everything around the burger being elite. The salads are crisp, the produce is fresh, the sauces are incredible (truffle aioli especially), the fries and onion rings are not oily, the plates are always warm, the execution is military. The little details are often overlooked and that is where the value in this place is justified. read more

I went in the beginning and the reviews from then were mostly valid. It was not good. I ate there last week. I'm glad I waited to review. It's sooooo good now. Like, that burger was huge. I mean HUGE. And she was delicious. I'm drooling over it now. And the chives on those fries? I dunno if that's the only difference but I Stan it my guy. We were looking forward to checking out our fourth Gordon Ramsay restaurant. I'm not sure why the name says it is "Vancouver" as we had an hour drive to Coquitlam to try it out. We ordered the Street Corn Dip - very good; Backyard Burger and Farmhouse Burger. They were delicious though the tops of the buns were cool to the touch. It would have been nice if the cheese was completed melted on the Backyard but both burgers tasted great otherwise. One of us had regular fries (good) and husband enjoyed the truffle parmesan fries. We shared a sticky toffee pudding for dessert which was great. The Horse with No Name was a refreshing no-alcohol drink. Service was very good and all of the staff were friendly and attentive. I probably wouldn't make a special trip out to Coquitlam to eat there again but if it was closer we would probably go back. read more

We went to Gordon Ramsay Burger on a Friday night and didn't have reservations as it was previously all booked around 6pm. They do have a few tables in the lounge area and we were able to get a table of 4 quite quickly. The menu has a good number of appetizers to choose from and plenty of burgers. We decided to share the beer battered onion rings to start. I love onion rings and these were very tasty. For my main I chose the Farmhouse burger and side house salad. The salad was nothing special, maybe should have gone with the fries. The burger was fully loaded and very filling. The patty could have been juicier but all the flavours of the burger, fried egg and bacon came together well. read more

The whole service was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere felt very alive. People enjoying themselves, families laughing and the music was jammin. My first Gordon Ramsay restaurant!! I'm a huge fan, watch all his shows and have for as long as I can remember so I was super excited and definitely was not disappointed! The space is super modern and cool, built inside a nice little casino in Coquitlam BC, the whole place screams Gordon. Place was bustling with activity too which makes for a nice atmosphere The menu is pretty limited to some appys and handhelds with a couple mains but let's face it I'm at Gordon Ramsays Burger I'm getting a burger but not before I try the Hellfire hot wings. Absolutely delicious! Not crazy hellfire spicy but enough heat to make you notice. Crispy and perfectly cooked We all had burger mains, I had the Farmhouse burger which comes with bacon, cheese and a fried egg. It was very very good. Burger was nailed, topping were good...I was really hoping for a life altering burger which it wasn't but solid. The wife had the southern yardbird which is a pretty typical fried chicken sando, again very very good not outstanding. Our friends both had the Hells Kitchen burger same story. The fries you get with your burger are exceptional basically the perfect fry Our server was excellent she was super friendly, I would expect nothing less from a restaurant with his name attached to it. The prices were extremely reasonable too given the name on the building. Bottle of wine was 48 bucks, burgers came all in around 25 bucks, total bill for 4 of us was 200 which really pretty amazing. I'm doing Hells Kitchen in Vegas if all goes well this September so I'll have to see how it stacks up to this place.
