With the name Gordon Ramsay you would think this would be the best burger around. I had the blue cheese burger (which I was told was the best) cooked medium and it was so dry with no flavor. I was so looking forward to a good burger last night. Unfortunately that's not what we got. Our server Kim was great and the corn dip was tasty. The place has a nice vibe. The wine was a small pour for the price but was decent. Now the food. We ordered a rare farmhouse and a medium rare backyard , truffle frys and sweet potato frys. My wife and daughter split the backyard burger and once they cut it in half and just saw gray. I cut the farmhouse and maybe saw a little bit of pink. They wouldn't send there's back but i returned mine. The sweet frys were hot and very good. The truffle frys were luke warm, soggy and no flavor of truffle whatsoever. Dinner was done and I get my 2nd burger that's supposed to be rare and it's well done. Never saw a manager. Our waitress apologized and took the burger's off. It's sad for me because I've eaten at the Vegas location many times and it's always great. I'm assuming it's just pour management as how could you destroy a rare burger twice. I left hungry and angry. Gordon, put the staff in some Hells Kitchen training so they learn to take pride in their food. read more

I was so excited to try this place. With Gordon Ramsay being such a big name I my expectations were very high. But I also know the British have a bad reputation for their food so wasn't sure what to expect. My wife and I came on a Sunday night and they said there was a 60+ min wait so we went elsewhere but I kept thinking these must be some amazing burgers that I made a reservation for the next day because I had to try them for myself. the inside was a nice atmosphere and the staff were friendly. We ordered the onion rings for an appetizer and they were delicious. My wife and I both ordered the special truffle burger for $25 but apparently no burgers come with fries you have to order them separately at about $9. Now we are in ribeye steak territory so this better be one hell of a burger. My wife ordered rare and I ordered med both were pretty much well done. But thats fine they we're busy and we don't want to be a burden. But the britts should stay away from making burgers. I got no truffle flavor and the meat was strange I can't put my finger on it but the texture was not normal, I think they mixed other fillers or something in it. For the price and the name I was expecting much more . I think it's for the tourist roaming around Boston to try once but definitely not for returning locals. Sad to say because I know there's another Gordon Ramsey restaurant on the other side of town featuring more traditional British food that I wanted to try but I think I'll pass on that place also. read more

On Christmas I was trying to get a meal before going to work. Noticed that GR Burger was open and thought that I would give it a try. When I entered I noted that over half the tables were empty and no one was seated at the bar. I was told that since I didn't have a reservation I would have to wait 45 minutes for a table. Unfortunately on this Christmas there was no room at the inn. I then found another restaurant around the corner that was pretty full but were able to accommodate me. I then enjoyed a nice burger. I would rather give my business to someone who wants it rather than one that makes protocol a priority. read more

Mid, definitely not worth the money. Burger was mushy, and the fries come separately. If I'm paying $20 for a burger, it should at least include the fries. Corn dip appetizer was cold but alright flavor wise. Service was alright nothing special. Save your money and eat literally anywhere else, the area has too many good options. read more

The hosts were nice, and the service was fast. I ordered the truffles fries to go. I got my fries, and when tasted them, they were barely warm, so by the time I got to Haymarket, they were cold. I wish I could have had them fresh and hot. I won't take out again if I go back. read more

We sat at the bar and the service and staff (Chris) are really good. We had the street corn dip as an appetizer and it was amazing! We decided to share a burger after seeing that they were large. Kind of disappointed at the burger- it was so salty!! could of been the toppings: we took the meat out of the bun and just ate the meat. Came in today shortly after 4, got a drink at the bar while we waited for our table upstairs. Bartender was very informative and service was good. Then we get upstairs, waitress was very nice, and waited for us to finish our beers to take our orders. We placed our food and drinks and everything's good. Our food comes out first and our waitress tells us it'll be about 2 minutes before the drinks come, no problem, she leaves and we realize our food is basically lukewarm but it's whatever. Ten minutes go by without our drinks and we're trying to eat this lukewarm ass food. Finally enough is enough and we just ask to get the food remade because I'm not paying $22 for a burger that's lukewarm. My biggest pet peeve is that the manager didn't even have the decency to come apologize like an decent restaurant manager would and honestly the hype just ain't it. read more

I would not be surprised if this place were to be featured in Ramsay's "Kitchen Nightmares". The service was practically non-existent. The food is sub-par, to say the least. Very disappointing experience overall. The service was a complete joke, it took us almost 30 minutes to get water after we were seated. It was a hot day. We had to ask for water three times before we actually got it. We were served the appetizers and still no water, despite several reminders. One of the appetizers was Hellfire chicken wings: extremely hot food, hot day, and no water - not the best combination, I must say. Fast-forward: after we actually got our water, we obviously finished it very fast, and getting a refill took another long wait and several reminders. Ridiculous. The place did not look very clean, the windows were covered in greasy palm prints, and the table was sticky. When they brought the appetizer plates, one was smeared in sauce, and the waiter seemed visibly irritated when I asked to replace it. The nachos were soggy and floating in a pool of grease. The onion rings were greasy and tasteless. I ordered the blue cheeseburger, which was absolutely bland. Despite being very hungry, I could not eat it. My family ordered farmhouse burgers and hellkitchen burger. According to them, their burgers were just ok, not the worst, but nothing impressive. The fries and truffle fries were OK, the milkshakes were average. Their house ketchup and truffle aioli were probably the most decent tasting items. Will definitely not recommend this establishment and will not come back. read more

Amazing burger! I had the Hells Kitchen, it was delicious. The only thing was I thought it would be spicier but it did have a little kick. The truffle fries were to die for! The restaurant was very clean as expected, and the server was awesome and attentive! There are so many great place to eat in Boston, I'll definitely be back here at some point though. read more
