Food was delicious! Burgers served on sesame bun with black sesame seeds was unique. Fries were crispy and not too thin. The Caesar Salad had lemon zest which I've never seen anywhere else. It was a fresh citrus flavor that pairs well with the dressing. Also, service was wonderful. Our waitress was attentive, and very sweet. Great experience! Would definitely recommend. read more

Seriously amazing burger! I've been to the Vegas location and everything here in Boston is up to, if not exceeding, Gordon's expectations. The burger was cooked perfectly to order (medium rare). It was juicy and flavorful! The atmosphere is classy but casual and our server was very attentive and friendly. Finally, the prices are reasonable especially considering you are get Ramsey quality food. For two gourmet burgers, sweet potato fries and two drinks the bill was just over $50. Well worth it! Welcome to Boston, I will be back. read more

Came in for my fourth visit just for dessert. Unfortunately, I left my CC behind when cashing out. The restaurant called to notify me immediately. Before having a chance to pick it up there was a $400 peapod charge on my acct. Now either it didnt get locked away or an employee used my CC. read more

Also - look at the generic response sent to each one of the lousy reviews - now I have to email them separately.

Really loved the burgers! This place definitely lives up to the Gordon Ramsay name. We had the burgers cooked in medium and it was such a juicy and soft texture. The fries were delicious as well. Just the right amount of spice without being overly salty. The staff are also super friendly with wonderful hospitality. The place is clean looking with a high end feeling. I would come back again to try another burger of the month. read more

Waited server for 10mins after I've seated. Frustrating start. Got the food but NO silverwares. Did they want me to grab the burger with my bare hands to eat? Christina literally threw food on my table and went right away without asking anything, so I had to wait another 5mins to ask for silverware, watching my burger getting cold. Thank you for ruining my last meal before flight. Won't visit again. read more

Very impressed by the burgers here. I wasn't sure what to expect initially and thought it might be just hype but they were delicious. Service was quick and efficient. You can tell it's newer and there are a few things to work through but that's to be expected. The vibe was also good. read more

A horrible experience over a burger. My burger was served with a burnt bun, wilted lettuce, and barely a swipe of mayo. When I complained to the manager (Ali) that a Ramsey restaurant should take pride in their food and serve good food she offered to remake my burger. After 7 minutes I received the SAME burger patty and condiments in a new bun with fresh lettuce, but now the burger patty was cold. I had to ask to make me a fresh burger from scratch. From that point on the service was non-existent. Unless you are someone that takes what you get and have low expectations, don't come here to eat no matter what chef is lotes on the door. read more

I really enjoyed my opening day visit to Gordon Ramsay Burger. As a big fan of the man himself and the Hell's Kitchen series, I had to order the Hell's Kitchen Burger. It was absolutely delicious minus the one or two jalapeno seeds that slipped through the cracks and made one bite unbearably spicy. I also enjoyed a side of truffle fries which was more than enough for two people to share. Although I went at lunch time mid week and there were only two other tables being seated, the atmosphere was fun and airy with all the windows overlooking the north end. read more

We made reservations on Open Table for Christmas Day at 6:30 pm. We arrived and they seated us immediately. The building itself is very cool, beautifully decorated. The British flag up on the ceiling was a nice touch for Boston. Playful and fun. :) I ordered a Blue cheese burger and would order it again. Although I was disappointed that it was still very red in the center when I ordered medium well, but the seasonings and toppings were still good enough to offset that. If it had been cooked right, it may have been one of the better burgers I've ever had.The sweet fries I ordered on the side with jalapeño were yummy, but not quite worth $9. I was expecting them to be drizzled or a little something extra, not just a small side dip. My daughter had an ABC burger and ordered the roasted tomato on the side, which was delicious to munch on just itself. We also ordered the chowder, which comes in a very small bowl, but is delicious. I loved that it was chopped and you weren't just eating huge chunks of potato. It was flavorful. Our waitress never checked on us, which is why I had to eat my burger the way it was (undercooked) and without a drink refill. And then she automatically added a 20% tip. I would have given her that anyway probably, since it was Christmas, but the service was lacking here in my experience so I didn't really like being "told" what to tip for a table of 3. read more

This place really lives up to the hype. Food was fantastic. Atmosphere was amazing. Awesome location and beautiful place. Food and staff were great, definitely recommend.

Went in after a long day of uni visiting and were tired of seafood. The restaurant had wasn't packed or noisy, with a few people sitting around the bar. Got seated promptly and our server brought water over. We ordered some wings that were pretty good. Both of our burgers were very overcooked, and I asked the server if she could have them remake mine, she had the kitchen redo the order. The chef brought the new ones out and apologized, I told him no worries, it's night time and thanked him. The newly cooked burgers were delicious, moist, flavorful, fresh crisp veggies and the buns were nice and fluffy (hopefully he didn't add secret sauce lol). We will definitely recommend read more

Very small and simple menu. A few appetizers, salads, and burgers. The restaurant had a higher end diner feel, with tables, booths and a bar that took up a lot of the restaurant. Service was good, something I'd expect from a Ramsey brand. The low rating is for the food. The food was fine, nothing amazing. Started with the wings and nachos. The wings tasted like buffalo wings without the butter. A little tangy, but I felt they were missing something. They are supposed to be spicy, so the wings had a couple slices of habanero peppers on them. The nachos were better than the wings but not really nachos. They were homemade potatoes chips with all the toppings, I'd reorder the nachos. I got the farm house burger, and I couldn't finish it because it was very heavy and big. It was a good burger, but wish I got it medium well because I felt awful later that night. Not food poisoning but my stomach didn't feel great afterwards. If I had to choose between Gordon's burger or capital burger, I'd choose capital burger. read more

Pretty ironic how terrible the food was for a chef like Gordon Ramsay - maybe he should start fixing his own restaurants before others... The burgers that were ordered medium rare were all well done. Fries were soggy and cold. Sweet potato fries tasted like burnt oil. The bun was really good, but considering that was the only tasty thing, not much point of coming back... read more

my father was tricked into making a reservation for the 4th of july and I'm so upset. manager PROMISED you could see fireworks from their patio--COMPLETE LIE! we cannot see absolutely anything. we're from out of town on a family vacation and they could obviously tell. absolutely disgusted and appalled they would take advantage of unsuspecting tourists, but I can't be surprised. host also said they were open till 11 and they promptly shut the music off at 10 pm (which is what their website says, so we were lied to AGAIN). didn't think a restaurant with a brit's name attached would be so anti-american... RUDE! read more

We were wary of eating here because of the reviews but I'm glad we did because it was excellent! We are huge Gordon Ramsey and like to eat at his franchises whenever we are visiting large cities. The burgers are very similar to what you get at Hell's Kitchen. The service was quick and very good as well. It's not as formal so dropping in walking from the city all day was great. I would definitely eat here again. read more

Over-priced garbage from a Scottish Chef who loves to critique many other restaurants and their owners. Poor quality burgers, small portion sizes and just very generally blah! Actually, more than that, very poor! read more

So here's the thing - the vibe here was pretty chain-y and the service was nothing to write home about, but the burgers were genuinely very good. It's a little pricey but if you need a quick bite with no wait it's not a bad option! read more

If you want a good burger and decent drinks, great place! The staff were all so pleasant and friendly and really cared about how things were. They were friendly and attentive! Small menu but lots of great choices and you will leave really full! I thought the atmosphere was fun and open so you can see the bustling of Boston! I would recommend coming here, there was another post saying they don't have ketchup, they definitely do and are willing to accommodate you how ever they can. The bar will also make you a customized drink if you want. read more

Enjoyed the decor. The food was sub par - in a BIG WAY! I ordered the Backyard Burger and the cheese was semi to not melted and it was okay - cold to the touch. I ordered med. well - and it did come med-well..." We ordered a side of fries, regular fries, that were cold and seemed like they were sitting there all day. Service is good - but they never circled back after we began our meal to say, "how is your meal?" We also needed to ask for utensils and napkin to begin eating our already cold meal. I would say overall - pass on this restaurant, unless you are stopping in for a drink. Funny how G. Ramsay is always screaming at people all over the internet and on television shows about quality and service, and he DID NOT get his own establishment right. This restaurant is overpriced 7.00 for a small side of fries, and overpriced for the service and quality received. Pass on this restaurant. read more

Onion rings were fireeee. Burgers were overpriced and kind of mushy. Not great tbh, would have preferred going to shake shake for a burger

Well that was a complete waste of time money and effort! Service poor at best... how difficult is it to get a glass of ginger ale and water? Apparently above and beyond what the bar tender can handle! Now the street corn dip was awful.. like warm at best with day old tortilla chips. 20 minutes and still waiting for the ginger ale that I asked for! Now on to the burger and fries.... Farmhouse burger medium is what I ordered and it came out medium ! Had to slam twice for a napkin and utensils but the food runner finally helped . Fries great ketchup awful like really awful.... Ambiance nice but nothing else lives up to the look ! Shame ! The GM is hanging around but not offering any help or even asking customers how the experience was ?! read more

I was excited to try this place. Disappointed. Very bland food. We had the Guinness Burger, the Hell's Kitchen Burger, and the Southern Yardbird chicken sandwich, onion rings, and the truffle fries. The fries were average. Everything else subpar. Except the pickles on the chicken sandwich - they were awesome. The chicken was ground chicken made into a patty, not a cooked chicken breast. Do not recommend. Do better, Gordon Ramsay!! read more

Haven't written a review in a long time but felt compelled to after our horrific experience here. Gordon Ramsay should be ashamed to have his name attached to such an establishment. First off, they served us a completely flat Coke. Fine, we did not send it back and just ignored it since we didn't want to make a fuss. Then I ordered a pumpkin beer with a cinnamon sugar rim- they made the first one with it. Then I ordered another one. The waitress came back with the beer and said they ran out of the ingredients for the rim, and just set the beer down without even checking with me if I still wanted it. Then she abruptly walked away. I definitely would not have ordered this drink if I had known they would not make it the same way. Again, I didn't say anything and just drank it not wanting to make it an issue. It was a chilly day out and my friend was with her newborn baby. We asked one of the servers if they wouldn't mind turning on the heat lamp, and he said "sure"- then walked away and never did so. The burgers are ~$20+ and do not come with any fries/side. The side of sweet potato fries is $7- I guess if you like them thin, crispy, and dried out then that's good for you. The worst part about our experience was the service. We paid our bill and my husband wanted to order four shots for my friend's birthday. We were given the bill and paid, then waited at least 20 minutes. Literally paid, signed the bill, and sat there for 20 minutes wanting to leave but also waiting for these damn shots. Finally, my husband asked one of the servers if the shots were still coming and she rudely responded "yessss" with the most attitude as if we were annoying her, and she didn't even look back at us when she responded. I was livid!!! Who treats customers this way?!? We were not being demanding and I think waiting 20 minutes for four shots (of tequila not even a specialty shot or anything) is ridiculous. Had she said something like "so sorry the kitchen is backed up" I would have been fine. But the tone and attitude were horrible. The manager finally brought out the shots and comped them which was nice, but still such an awful experience. read more

We ordered 2 burgers: A chicken sandwich and a regular burger, fries, and onion rings. The chicken burger was wonderful. Roughly 6 onion rings come in 1 order of onion rings. Wonderful server & hostess. When comparing to another burger place that I visit, the portion size was small and the restaurant ambience is so-so. The food though is wonderful. Definately worth a visit. read more

Very bad service, food. Never seen such pathetic waitstaff. The small menu should have been easy. But everything was bad. First Ramsey restaurant we've been to after watching shows with my daughter since the first english shows years ago. Thus reminded me of those shows. The irony was too funny. My daughter goes to school in Boston and works at one of best restaurants. We were just laughing at how awful everything was. read more

It's fine however I don't think I can honestly recommend them. It's one of those places that you'd go just because you don't feel like going anywhere else. You probably wont have a bad experience but you'll probably be disappointed by the food. Being a a named chef you'd think it would be better but I found the burgers just average and for the price I'd expect better than average quality. I could've went to five guys and had a similar experience. read more

Excellent burgers! Once again, whatever Gordon does to his veggie burgers is super impressive! Our vegetarian announced it tasted just like meat! Being the skeptics the rest of us were, we tried a nibble and agreed that if we hadn't been told, it would be hard to tell it wasn't actual meat. (They will sub a veggie patty on any burger they make.) The bleu cheeseburger was indeed VERY bleu cheesy! The fries were good, but could have used another sprinkle of salt. And with the absence of a salt shaker on the table, it was all the more notable. The place was hopping on Friday night! You definitely need a reservation. The hostess was quoting super long wait times, but people were willing to hang out and wait! read more

We stopped by mid-afternoon on a Saturday. Despite being extremely busy, the server was kind and attentive. The ambiance was bustling. The burger that I had was the Juicy Lucy- grilled onions and American cheese. It was delicious but I wasn't overwhelmed and there was nothing that made it stand out, in my opinion. My husband felt the same about his burger - blue cheeseburger. Fries we're extra. They were basic. read more

Waited 30 minutes to get in expecting a great burger and food. Instead got some poor food and burgers. For apps got the onion rings and nachos. The nachos were potato chips with stuff on them and were so so. The onion rings were decent tasting, but really hard (outer layer was tough) to eat. The dipping sauces were ranch and spicy ketchup. Where is the horseradish sauce that usually come with onion rings? For burgers I got the juicy Lucy and my son got the farmhouse. He enjoyed his burger...I did not. The juicy Lucy had cheese in the middle that was sooo salty that I couldn't finish. What happened to Gordan Ramsay's quality control? Why would he let a burger with a shaker full of salt leave the kitchen? I still taste the salt and I'm so disappointed. Wish I had great things to say about this place! Just don't have high expectations. Also forgot to mention that the waiter charged us for an extra order of fries. Good thing I noticed and he quickly adjusted the bill. However no manager to apologize like you would see on the show. read more

Server was extremely obnoxious. She barely explained anything about the menu, never came back over until the order was completely done to hand us our check.
