We had a reservation, although not needed. Two story restaurant with a roof top deck, fire pit, nice ambiance and a nice place to escape the busyness of Little Italy for a quicker bite. Staff was friendly, seated us right away at a nice table. Ordered our food and sides, onion rings were brought out as an appetizer so we ate it before our burgers arrived because well, we were hungry. Sweet potato side was a rather small side, maybe enough for two people to share. Burgers were very good. Salads were not. Don't waste your time trying to eat salad here, mostly lettuce with a few pieces of a topping, blue cheese, bacon, and not enough dressing. I'd say here it depends on what you order, had we gotten burgers with onion rings we would have been more happy, but minus the weak salads and small portion of sweet potatoes it left us a bit hungry. read more

Hamburger was very good. Bar service not. Limited alcohol choices and slow. The worst part was payment. Have to use QR code. We wanted to split 3 ways. One of us ended up paying 2/3. Get rid of QR code. Use a tablet. read more

Huge disappointment. Food was cold. Waiter was not great. With the price I expected more.

Service at the bar was slow. Waited or couldn't get the bartender's attention. We were the only party at the bar. Out of many drink options. Burgers would have been very good but none of them were hot. Fries were good. Someone told us they didn't have a great experience but we were hoping it was just an off night read more

We got a chance to stop here this week and greatly enjoyed it. We didn't have reservations but lucked out finding four seats at the bar. The bar was a fairly good size with about 15 seats in a u-shape. I had a specialty cocktail that was delicious. The burgers were really good and the perfect size. The onion rings were huge and tasty. I would definitely recommend checking it out! read more

My son had gone here and pronounced it ok, not necessarily great. For me, I'm always leery that a celebrity chef's restaurant will be Name Only. But Bobby Flay's place was pretty good, so I figured I'd give it a shot. So, my son and I were in Boston to go to City Winery, and I went in with an open mind. I didn't take my son's opinion as gospel. My son had the burger of the month, which was some kind of truffle burger. I had one with avocado. We both ordered medium rare. When they came out, both were well done. Now I understand that a lot of restaurants don't like to serve it medium rare, which is fine. But if that's the case here, why bother to ask? Why pretend you're going to do it and then don't. The burgers themselves were reasonably good-sized if not especially flavorful. I've had lots and lots better, usually at pubs or even Fuddrucker's, for that matter. (When you ask for it medium rare, you get it medium rare.) Tab for two, including a big bottle of water and sweet potato fries? (I thought we would each get our own order, but they brought one not-exactly-overflowing order to share.) 58 bucks pre-tip. I always ask myself two questions: Would I recommend a place to someone, and would I go back there? No and no. Nothing more than a Ramsay cash grab. read more

This was a really solid burger joint I expected it to be overpriced being Gordon Ramsay and 15 to $16 a burger was very far The burgers were delicious just the right amount of grease in it and cooked perfectly I got the Hell's kitchen burger which was amazing Don't be intimidated by the peppers in it they're not that spicy My wife got the backyard Burger which was the regular cheeseburger with cheddar cheese onions tomato and lettuce and pickles and it was Great the pickles I think we're house made and had a really nice taste of them The weight was about 30 minutes without a reservation so we just found two spots at the bar which was very comfortable and the service was on point read more

Best restaurant to get a burger, has a reasonable choice of burgers to select on the menu. I Ordered the Brunch burger cooked well done. However the only reason why I give this review a four is because you have to pay for frys. Other than that the restaurant is great and I do highly recommend it read more

I arrived approx 6:30pm today with no reservations for a party of 4. Let me tell you, I was not greeted with a smile but instead a tone of misery. The lady in the front told me it would be 30-40min wait for a party of 4 and the bar is open for guests 21+. I was like OK, mind you, we are 35+, a bat would've seen that. Clearly there were many tables open but I get it, reservations first. You don't need my business and I dont need your business is the vibe you gave me. We explored the bar and received a stare down by the waitress (who i think was having a bad night), no smile or assistance with finding bar seats. The energy was brutal! I haven't even tried the food yet and I don't think I will. These are all red flags. Where's the hospitality? I can't believe I took the time to write a review, that's how bad the service was. Hoping this review will save the next honest customer from bad vibes. read more

Not worth a 19 dollar burger without fries. I went there to get a veggie burger thinking it would be a house-made patty. It was not a house-made one it was probably impossible patty. Nothing special for my husbands meat patty too. I wanted to like it since we live close, but not feeling it. Ambiance is a bit cold and airport-bar-ish. Not worth it. Service was good. read more

Service: 1/10 We waited for about 15 minutes after being seated before anyone even offered us water. The hostess came to the table once to apologize for the long wait. The server was pleasant enough when he finally did acknowledge our table, but throughout the meal, he never refilled the water glasses or asked if we wanted additional drinks. When delivering the food, we were not asked if there was anything else we needed, such as ketchup. My husband didn't really like the taste of the burger he ordered, and had to flag someone down to get ketchup so that he could eat it. See more below about the ketchup. We had to wait an additional 5 minutes before we finally got the ketchup. It was all so bad that my husband, who is usually an over-tipper, left a minimal tip. Food: 2/10 We had the corn dip as an appetizer. It tasted like canned cream corn with a little cream cheese and corn meal added. It was very sweet, and I couldn't taste any of the other flavors supposedly in the dish. We wished we had ordered something else. My husband ordered the Backyard Burger ($16 with no fries), cooked medium. The meat was rare, and he said there was a strange fishy flavor to the burger, and needed ketchup to make it palatable enough to eat. As mentioned above, he was not offered any condiments, and we had to flag someone down to get some. It took that person so long, that we flagged down someone else. When he finally got the ketchup, he said it wasn't like any ketchup he had ever tasted, and NOT in a good way. But the burger had such a weird flavor that the ketchup was needed for him to be able to eat it. I ordered the Hellfire Chicken Salad ($18). This is probably my fault as I did not understand the nature of the Hellfire sauce, which has no flavor, but just scorches your tongue so that you can't taste anything else. I was hungry so I suffered through half of the salad--not tasting anything. This is where the lack of service was really noticeable. I had to drink all my water to be able to continue eating the salad, but we never got our glasses refilled. Luckily, my husband didn't drink all of his and was willing to share. Location: 7/10 The best thing about this restaurant is the location and the view. The interior is basic, but the windows all around, and the location in the North End, make it an enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, that's where the good ends for us. Recommeded: Heck NO! We agreed that we feel almost traumatized by this dining experience, and still has significant regrets, mostly because we chose this restaurant for our wedding anniversary dinner. (Yes, choosing a burger place may seem strange, but my husband loves all things Gordon Ramsey.) We also agreed that this restaurant might be in a future episode of Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares. read more

I thought it was delicious ironically the side dishes and appetizers were as tasty as the burgers.

My husband and I loved our experience here. We came to Boston on a quick trip from Maryland. The food is delicious and you can taste the freshness. It's exactly what you'd expect from a well know and award winning chef. The onion rings weren't our favorite, but everything else was AMAZING. The service was excellent with a knowledgeable and friendly server. We enjoyed the atmosphere with a relaxed vibe. It is a must try if you're in the area. read more

Burger was tasty but cold and the service was very slow. Second round of drinks was never delivered but was on the bill.

Ate here for lunch on vacation. The name got me...Gordon Ramsay...has to be great right??!! For as "perfect" as he claims to be on the shows, he needs to focus down on his own place. Not good. Service sucked. Waitress brought water, took our order and we never saw her again until we had to track her down to ask for more water. The burgers were no better than Costco frozen ones. I grill a mean Costco frozen burger at home, and I'm convinced that is what they are using. Maybe not, I don't know but either way, not good food. Save your money, don't let his name fool you...place is not good. I'm just a watered down hillbilly, but I know good food when I have it, and this wasn't it. Get some charcoal and a $15 grill from the Wallyworld, and a Costco bag of burgers and you'll eat better than this place. My 2 cents... read more

Not sure about the food, but the service and management is a zero. Arrived around 1pm to a half empty restaurant. Sat and didn't see a server for 15 minutes - no water, no nothing. Ordered a Hells Kitchen burger, cooked medium, with Just Fries. 20 more minutes passed. Food arrived and almost immediately I noticed the burger was severely undercooked - like visible red tubes of shredded raw meat. Waitress returned and asked how everything was going. I showed her the burger and said it looked to be severely undercooked. She agreed - and then vaporized. I didn't see her again at any point. I was also only given about a tablespoon of ketchup for the fries. 20 minutes later a check magically appeared from a guy I think was the bartender who did a flyby with no intent on stopping. $19 for the burger, $7 for the fries. No visit from the manager, no waitress offering to cook it more or even bring drink refills - just crickets. In restaurants, the absolute one thing you can control is how you treat your customers, and this restaurant simply doesn't get it. It's just not worth visiting. read more

Absolutely, hands down the best burger and onion rings I have ever had in my life. I got the Juicy Lucy, which is the November special. Cheese inside the burger and on top. So decadent, so delicious . The onion rings were huge, crispy, flavorful, and had a great BBQ ketchup and a sour cream like dip. Over the top delicious. Not cheap. About $40 with tip. Also had an IBC root beer which hit the spot. Kind of dark inside, I went at night. I will definitely be going back. read more

First of all this place is a fishbowl!! Saturday night at 7 we walk past and see empty tables. We walk in and ask for a table. We are greeted with do you have reservations? Hmm..no, we are no longer accepting walk-ins. Wow...that was like a slap in the face, Others came in after us and were greeted in the same fashion. What a crock!! Sunday we have been gone all day on an outing outside the city. Thinking about what are we going to do about dinner? Thinking hmmm Gordon Ramsay burgers, should we give them a chance? We make reservations for 730. We get to the fishbowl 5 minutes early and have to wait because they are cleaning our table. I guess the other four empty tables are for show. As we wait in the small waiting area, we are entertained by the same song and dance we experienced the night before. When they are ready to seat us, we are greeted by a Boston bottleneck inside the restaurant! There is wait staff being trained and there is not enough room between the bar and the ordering station. Then some random guy comes from the other side of the restaurant waving his cellphone at the waitstaff. When we are seated there are four empty tables. Interesting. We took a look at the menu and made our decision and waited...the hostess (I think) came by and ask if our server had been there, no but I think she is right behind you. Our order was taken. We decided that we would share a chowder (tasty), a wedge salad ( where we come from it is a wedge of iceberg lettuce) this was deconstructed with romaine lettuce. Now the burger that was delicious, the burger of the month. We also ordered onion rings...they were good but my goodness $12 for four rings (one of the onion rings was made with part of the outside skin still on)!! Oh by the way, there was one empty table next to us the whole time we were there. The service was slow and we had to wait a long time for our beverages to be refilled. We left the fishbowl at 9. read more

I've been to the Las Vegas location, and this one is just not as good. Servers are friendly enough, but not around when you need them and made odd mistakes (like forgetting who's order went where). Pretty sure our server forgot we never ordered burgers until we reminded them (had apps and drinks). Interior vibe is not as cool as Vegas either. The shakes are solid but you only have two to pick from. Apps are good as well. Burgers all around got "meh" reviews. Too greasy for one person, lack of flavors for others, and some flavor combinations that didn't work. One burger had bacon that was really hard to chew (see pic). Truffle fries are excellent and can feed two. Disappointed for sure overall. read more

We had a great meal. The burgers are fresh and delicious. My teen son declared it the best burger he's had, and it was devoured quickly. I had the Hell's Kitchen burger, medium, and the mozzarella, jalapeño, tomato, and avocado were a great combination (if not a little slippery - haha). The fries were crispy and tasty, one order was a large enough serving for the two of us, and the accompanying ketchups were also very good. The hostess was extremely welcoming and took us upstairs and on to the open-air terrace to "the best table for a good view". It was a great view! If I had to give one improvement needed that would be to expand the draft choices. There are only four choices - Modelo, Guinness, Harpoon, and an IPA. (There are bottled/canned choices, but I don't find that really a selling point at this kind of restaurant.) I love a good Guinness, but I know other who'd love a better selection. read more

I often frequent Gordon Ramsay burger with my sidekick knuckles, but tonight was the last time I'll even come close to this hellhole. It was a 20 minute experience, we asked the hostess/waitress if we were able to sit outside and she stared at us like we were from another planet, I'm starting to think that maybe she is an extra terrestrial being and not from planet earth. She didn't even answer me when I asked to sit outside, she just ran away, I didn't sign up for a track meet tonight, she picked up the pace and lead us all the way around the restaurant, I'm a freak athlete yes, but I was so taken off guard by her pace. When we were seated (indoors btw) she was too concerned with the young men in the corner, perhaps flirting, I mean come on how unprofessional is that! Gordon Ramsay would be pissed, and I am pissed too! We didn't even get silverware!!! My sidekick asked for the blue cheese burger but with the blue cheese on the side, and the pungent waitress did the thousand yard, extra terrestrial stare yet again, what a creepy encounter. When we got our food it was bone chilling cold, not even worth eating. Gordon Ramsay, you need to visit your burger bar in Boston and talk some sense into your staff! read more

Excellent all around! We were so psyched to try this restaurant I thought maybe we were jinxing ourselves. I'm from Boston but moved away many years ago. We are here on Christmas vacation. We had four people in our party and it was the first visit for everyone. We only have a week here, but we are trying to figure out how to return before we go home. We had an excellent experience from the moment we walked in the door. The hostess was sweet, friendly. Our server came right to the table. I think his name was Derek. I'm sorry if I'm getting that wrong. He was very knowledgeable about the restaurant, friendly, and very attentive. I don't know if they don't have a bartender during the day, but I asked for a mojito. Initially I was guessing they didn't have (because no one ever has it) but surprise my server made it for me and he did a great job. I've had a lot of Mojitos and that was one of the best ever. We all got different burgers, and they were all excellent perfectly cooked and seasoned. One person in our party has a food intolerance that was taken seriously and the food was adjusted accordingly. I highly recommend the truffle fries. The atmosphere of the restaurant is clean and very modern, which is to be expected. We've been to quite a few places during our trip, but I have to say it seems like the staff here is just happier. Of course they work hard - seems like a positive work environment for my brief perspective. This is the type of businesses I like to support. Highly recommend read more

This was our first experience at a Ramsay Burger and it was great! I was a little surprised the restaurant did not have many customers. It started filling up around the time we left at about 6:45. There was a nice relaxing atmosphere to it. There was great 80s music playing and we loved the diner atmosphere. The only negative thing for us was the 35-40 minute wait for the food. I had the Farmhouse Burger and my wife had the Hell 's Kitchen Burger. Our kids had kid burgers and fries. We also had Truffle Fries and Sweet Potato Fries. I thought the Farmhouse was amazing while the Hells Kitchen Burger was good but needed more seasoning. The fries, especially the Truffle fries, were great. It was just ok. The staff wasn't very friendly or attentive. They just seemed like customers were a bother. The place wasn't busy. The burgers were decent as were the fries. Salad was good. Our biggest complaint was the amount of salt on everything which made the food not as enjoyable as it could be. Let customers put their own salt on their food or don't be so heavy handed with it. Also, get the staff to understand that the customers are what keep the business open and teach them better customer service. The space was nice and appeared clean. The table overhead lights should be turned down just a tad as we felt like we were under a spotlight. I'd say if you crave a burger then go ahead and give it a try. read more
