Though the price was good, turns out the lead time is 3-4 months. Once the order is placed, you cannot cancel it. I need the item now. The website says things usually ship in 5-7 days. There is no value in 3-4 months shipping.

ordered a case of fire stop. never sent tracking. 30 days have gone by. checked account with order number says no orders. disputed charges with my bank.

I received a 25 pack of LED fluorescent replacement bulbs with 7 of the package broke or cracked. I have emailed Brad at the company 3 times, who is the one that emailed when my order shipped, customer service twice, and the filled out the form to have them contact me also. No reply back from anyone. I need to try calling, but haven't had time. Figured email was way simpler than sitting on a phone waiting for someone to answer. Also had pictures of broken bulbs attached to email. What a joke of a company when they can't even respond back. DO NOT BUY FROM GORDON ELECTRIC!

They post shipping times on their website that they can't support and after calling them to discuss, they really don't care...stay away.

I called asking for someone to get my doorbell working. Two days later I received a call saying a…read morefellow could come and work on it. When he got here the first thing he said was doorbells are difficult to get going. The next thing he said was "Just because it has a wire doesn't mean you need an electrician." He said a couple of times he had to get out of here soon or he would have to charge me. Plus he took a phone call and said he would be leaving here and on his way soon. You could tell right from the time he got here that he had no intention of doing the job. At no time did he ever look at the doorbell. I have had Girard Electric do several jobs in the past and the men were always nice and did the job right, but I had heard that both Girard Electric and Goodburlet Heating and Cooling had merged and that neither were much good anymore. I should have listened to those that said not to call them. It's a shame, they were good companies at one time. I wasted two days where I could have been looking for a company that would do the job and do it right. Some whiney guy looking for a quick and simple job is not what anyone wants to hire. Companies with lousy service people and those that make excuses instead of doing their job are a dime a dozen today. Won't be calling them back here again.

First time I called them, no one showed on appointment day and I got a call later saying they'd…read morehave to reschedule. On the next appointment date, they sent Dave, who was excellent. Then I called them to to do some more light fixture replacements. The guy they sent out kept asking for new light bulbs. He didn't want to put the effort into taking them out of the old fixtures apparently, he was just going to throw them out. That makes no sense. Then I got the bill in the mail and it had $50 worth of travel time. They are 3.5 miles from my home. I called and talked to the owner who said traffic can get bad and one-way could take 1/2 hour. From Kankakee to Bourbonnais? They are 10 minutes away. I talked to the owner's sister who works there, she used to live in my neighborhood and said15 minutes at the most. I was not charged travel time when Dave came out, so these travel charges were bogus as far as I'm concerned. They took the travel charges off of the bill. I called them today, late May, to do some work. I was told they have no electricians available until August. What?? These folks don't know how to run a business that serves its customers well. I will not be calling again.
