So yum!!!! Top 3 thai spots for me…read more Food- Classic order of Pad Thai & Drunken Noodles. The pad thai noodles are a big thinner than i've had before but that didn't bother me, it has such great flavor too. I recommend ordering it spicy, it's the perfect heat if you're looking for that kick but don't add it if you can't handle spice. The drunken noodles are not spicy in my opinion but i can handle a bit of heat. Loved the flavor and the noodles had the right texture, could've done without the huge chunks of tomato but great otherwise. The summer rolls were good, hard to mess those up. We also got a free mango salad with the order and that was so fresh and delicious. We just popped in for pick up but the hostess was really nice and attentive as soon as we walked in. It looked to be a nice casual spot, could be good for dinner with friends or date night.

It does well with doing the whole "fusion" schtick without losing the essence and flavor of the dishes. Pad Krapoa Moo Krob, the meat on the pork belly was so juicy - the pork skin was crunchy and chewy at the same time, flavors of Thai spice, basil, and bell peppers harmoniously working together to bring a balanced meal. The shrimp basil fried rice was delicious, a great alternative if you're not feeling the crab fried rice. The service at Obao is always prompt and helpful, whether it's questions about the menu or recommendations, anyone is willing to help. Inside Oboa is dimly lit, a moody vibe that is fun and invites playful conversations.

Our drinks and desserts were equally outstanding. Most importantly, the management team and service staff provided us with impressive and exemplary hospitality and service. For the three of us, our special night at 53 NYC was a wonderful dining experience that we will long appreciate, remember and cherish.

It's not your typical lychee martini. It has Aperol and pineapple, which gives it a great flavor. My only note is that I wish it were a bit stronger. For appetizers we had the yellowtail, which is a must get. It was delicious. We also had the lobster spring rolls, another great dish, and the crispy wontons, which were good but not my favorite compared to everything else. For our entrée we got the beef tenderloin, another must get. It was amazing, super tender, and melts in your mouth. We had it with the fried rice, which was solid. For dessert we had the ice cream sandwich, which was different in the best way and extremely delicious. It wasn't too sweet and the cone "buns" were perfection. Overall, this place is gorgeous and the food matches. I would definitely return. The service was also great, the perfect balance of letting you do your own thing and truly enjoy your evening while still checking in. It is pricey. We each paid $184 including tip, but it's definitely worth it for a special occasion or to spoil yourself a bit.

The energy in the restaurant was a lot more vibrant than I expected, and honestly, the excitement from everyone around us added to the overall experience. To drink, I ordered the Caribbean Mule. It was refreshing, flavorful, and definitely packed a little punch. A solid cocktail that got the night started right. For food, we ordered the beef fried rice and chicken wontons. The beef fried rice was delicious and came in a generous portion size, making it easy to share. The chicken wontons were also well prepared and packed with flavor. The standout dish for me, though, was the ginger beef noodles. The noodles were cooked perfectly, and the beef was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Easily my favorite item of the night and something I'd order again without hesitation. Service was another bright spot. The staff was attentive throughout the evening, and our servers were always quick to help whenever we needed anything. Even with the restaurant being busy, they stayed on top of everything. The one disappointment was the truffle fries. I've had better truffle fries at small neighborhood spots. They lacked both the flavor and presentation I'd expect from a restaurant at this price point, especially compared to how strong the rest of the meal was. Overall: Brooklyn Chop House delivered a fun atmosphere, great service, and some standout dishes. Between the energy of the crowd, the ginger beef noodles, and the attentive staff, it was a memorable experience. Just skip the truffle fries and put that money toward another appetizer or cocktail.

We ordered the chicken satay, beef, shrimp, broccoli, rice, and salad. Everything was delicious, and the food came out quickly. The chicken satay especially stood out. All I can say is WOW…read more A friend of Joe's recommended Sei Less, as they know he loves him some good Asian fusion. We arrived a little early for our reso but they promptly seated us. The restaurant definitely has a cool vibe and is very clean. Our server, Ivo, was amazing from the start; prompt and friendly service. For starters we shared the oxtail spring rolls, spare ribs, and lobster spoons. Joe said it best when he said "I don't want any other oxtail. The spring rolls were tender and flavorful and I loved the dipping sauce they came with. Those ribs?! *chefs kiss* we must have made a scene while eating them because as another table was leaving, they stopped to ask us how the ribs were and the regret they had after seeing them arrive at our table. Now, those lobster spoons?? Mm mm MM! The beurre blanc the lobster sat in was buttery and super tasty, but that wasn't even the best lobster dish I ended up having. My our entrees I got the Sei Less Signature Lobster Noodles and Joe got the Filet Mignon and Broccoli. Good lord those noodles were delicious. They used thick udon, the WHOLE lobster, and the sauce that everything sat in was so rich. I also couldn't get over how beautiful this dish was. Joe's filet was exactly what you'd expect; tender and full of flavor. This is what you wish they could serve when you order beef and broccoli at your local Chinese spot lol! & you know we always have to end with a little treat. We kept it modest and went with the yuzu cheesecake served with a lychee ice cream. The lychee ice cream was such a nice mild balance to the richness of the cheesecake. There was also a yummy brittle served with the dessert that gave a nice bite to the whole dish. Simple delicious. I know this will not be our last visit. It is 6 am the next morning as I write this, and all I can think about is getting to my leftovers later today!
