A great new modern-American restaurant. Awesome food choices, delicious drink choices and a great happy hour!! The pricing was fantastic. A few in my party ordered mules and we did have to wait for copper cups to become available, so if they got more of those I think they'd benefit greatly. I got the Vodka Chicken to eat and it was superb aside from the chicken which I felt like was really salty. Overall a great experience, though. Highly recommend getting a reservation! read more

Goose120 - Vodka Chicken - Italian Near Me - Omaha, Nebraska

Great place for lunch or dinner with family or a group. I love the space, decor & friendly staff. We started out with Brussels sprouts that have a good amount of prosciutto, but I'm not a big fan of the chilies-that flavor was something that I haven't had before with Brussel sprouts. I ordered the salmon sandwich that was cooked perfectly and the thick slice of focaccia bread with lettuce & tomato was lightly seasoned/oiled along with a side of avocado made it even better! I did opt for a side salad instead of fries & I'm Happy I did because the citrus vinaigrette is my new Fave!! My hubby ordered Meatball Bucatini lunch portion is served with one large beef, veal & pork meatball on a bed of thick spaghetti. He said the sauce is phenomenal & the meatball has good flavor. My uncle had the Chicken Milanese that he really enjoyed & said he will order it again! We all agreed we would order the same again but they have other options that I'd like to try! We're looking forward to going back soon! Really nice vibe here! read more

Absolutely delicious, we can't wait to go back! We started with the brussel sprouts and calamari. The brussel sprouts were served in a delicious sauce with pieces of prosciutto, each piece was tender and perfectly cooked. The calamari was served with a slightly spicy marinara, I truly wish I had more of it! For our entrees we had the lobster gnocchi and vodka chicken. I had the lobster gnocchi and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of lobster in the dish. The sauce was incredible and creamy! My husband had the vodka chicken and my brother had the bolognese bucatini. They were very satisfied too, portions were a decent size. Finally, we had the tiramisu for dessert and it was the perfect size to share with 3-4 people. I personally loved it because the espresso flavor didn't overwhelm the dessert. Delicious Italian food, huge wine selection, large bar with seating, overall pleasant ambiance... you can't go wrong with this new spot! read more

Great new spot in town. We decided to try a bunch of small plates instead of a full entree. The stand out for me was the meatballs. The sauce was very good and fresh. I wish it came with a bigger piece of bread for dipping. I also enjoyed the smoked salmon flatbread. The small plates are big enough to share, which is nice. Make a reservation they were very busy. Great new addition to the food scene in Omaha. read more

Goose120 - Mini Muscles, Tomato Bruschetta, Salmon Crostini - Italian Near Me - Omaha, Nebraska

The restaurant has a simple & clean design. Parking and access are fine. I've now visited a few times, and they are consistent. Some of their consistencies are great while others need some meaningful improvement. The food is consistently flavorful, well balanced, and well presented. I've had the bruschetta, polpette meatballs, and chicken Milanese sandwich. I would order these items again. Prices are quite reasonable given the caliber and portio of food served. While all staff with which I've interacted were personable and professionally dressed, all also left something to be desired in their service. Issues I encountered during not very busy meal service times included: 1. Taking more than five minutes to say hello / acknowledge presence at the relatively empty bar. 2. Taking a long time (more than five minutes) to take food order after serving beverages when service was observably slow. 3. Gossiping with other staff within earshot of guests, often including colorful language any business owner would not find appropriate for a professional environment. Topics of gossip included guests and coworkers not currently on shift. 4. Firing a small plate and a main dish at the same time so they were delivered at the same time, resulting in the main dish being cool and soggy when I was ready to eat it. Further, there was no recognition that such service was a faux pas. Will I go back? Yes. Did the detractors above negatively affect my tipping practice? No. Do I need to see improvement during my next visit? Yes, or I will need to revisit my decision to patronize this restaurant. read more

As sad as I was to see the previous restaurant that was in this space go, I'm delighted a restaurant as good as Goose120 replaced it. Recently had my birthday dinner here, with a party of 12. Everyone got appetizers, drinks and dinner. Everything was absolutely delicious. The meat and cheese board was divine and the cheeses were amazing. My husband got the ribeye with the risotto.... OMG, the risotto was out of this world. Seriously some of the best risotto I've ever had. I got the flat bread and it was soooo good. The vodka pasta was mouth watering as well. No one had a single negative thing to say about the food nor the service. Highly recommend and can't wait to go back! read more

Excellent service, beautiful atmosphere, I love how they decorated, and the food was amazing. I had their signature hamburger and the meat was prime! The serving size was enough to feed two people and very tasty! Can't to visit again! read more

While not a perfect 5, I will leave my rating at 5 because this restaurant was launched with great success. We stopped by later in the evening when the crowd was slowing down. They did a tremendous job transforming a much beloved Mexican restaurant into a comfortable classy place to dine. Now for the food. The Brussel Sprouts had a lot going on. Some cream, cheese, and meat. It was delish!! We shared the entree which was Bolognese Bianco. I love Bolognese but I only had red sauce until now. Our waitress recommended adding mushrooms to the top and that was a good call. It transformed a potentially bland'ish dish into something better. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bland bland. It just missed something and the mushrooms pushed it in the right direction. We were very happy with this spur of the moment decision to eat here while driving by. Friendly staff. Prices are a tad high, but we're getting used to that. The quality is there. read more

Goose120 - Ribeye steak -Chicken Alfredo with red pepper flakes - Italian Near Me - Omaha, Nebraska

Pleasant atmosphere. Quickly seated and assigned a delightful server, Sandy. Lasagna was top notch and enjoyed the leftovers from ample portion. The salmon entree was split between the ladies and perfectly portioned with some additional veggie side to round it out. Ribeye was good and done to request. We split the tirimasu and lemon tart for dessert and both were excellent. Service was great and would repeat the visit without hesitation! Nicely priced and excellent value for the food and service! read more

What a beautiful day to be out on the patio at the goose. Great drinks and apps to celebrate my daughter's birthday.

I loved it. Happy hour prices were great, server was very knowledgeable on menu items as well as cocktails, as well as being very friendly. The food not only looked appetizing: it was. Great portions, great taste! The tiramisu was delicious and huge! I'm never in this part of town but wouldn't mind coming back out here for this restaurant! read more

I love Italian food and wanted to try a new place for my birthday, and based on all of the great reviews from fellow Yelpers, I decided to try Goose120. We made a reservation, and I would do the same for a Saturday night. It was packed. Our waitress was great and made sure I had a great evening. The menu is diverse and provides an entree for everyone! We started the evening with cocktails and finished with a bottle of red wine. We had four people at our table and we each ordered something different. From salmon to veal with risotto, it was all so delicious. I was hesitant about the veil because this is the first time I've had veil, but I would order this again and again! When family comes into town, they want one night of a "fancy" dinner and I think this is where I will take them. (One of them is picky, so Goose120 provides plenty of food options.) read more

When we walked in, we were ignored by bar staff. They looked at us and then looked back down. The server came out from the back and greeted us. The drink was delicious. I would get that again. The chicken piccata wasn't really what I expected in flavor. It was an odd taste. The server was nice but she forgot my bread that came with my entree. Then asked if I wanted the bread. We still tipped her generously because she was nice. My husband said his chicken alfredo was delicious. I would probably give it another try. I would get a different dish next time. It looked like they were training that day. Hopefully they get better at greeting people and make them feel welcomed. We almost walked out due to being ignored in the beginning. That's why I gave the rating of 4 stars. read more

I had several people recommend this restaurant and I was so glad to have tried it! I went for happy hour drinks and small plates. We ordered bruschetta and the charcuterie plate - both good sizes for the happy hour price! We got the Southern Migration and Duck, Duck, Goose drinks and they were delicious. We sat at the bar for our food and drinks and the bartenders were friendly and very attentive! We ordered chicken marsala and gnocchi with vodka sauce and chicken. Both dishes delicious and filling; we have leftovers! The place is modern, clean, and a good stop. read more

Good food good service. Parking is fair but not great. The decor is ok. Nice to have food prepared by order so it's fresh.

Oh my gosh, the "GOOSE" is alive and well, at 120th and Blondo!!! I'm plant base around 95% of the time but it was my mother's 87th birthday so I used to half a percent to indulge, we had Belle (I think that was her name) for our server, and she recognize my mom from the first week they were open, she really took great care of us.! The food here is amazing. We had three appetizers, brussels sprouts=divine, calamari=perfecto, the sausage stuffed mushrooms=a must!!! I was starving so I had the ribeye and typically I wouldn't do that unless it's a steakhouse, but this was so amazing, the risotto was perfect, some grilled carrots, and broccolini on the side, absolutely amazing! My brother had the chicken piccata. An absolutely loves it, he'd come back just for that! Mom enjoyed the flatbread and it was perfect, I had a schmeckin!!! Others had salads, the macaroni and cheese with sausage, and the shrimp scampi. It was all amazing food, we all shared. We have the lemon tarts for dessert, only ordered two and we each got at least a bite, there was seven of us! I really miss Rivera's's who were previously in this location; however, goose 120 really stepped things up!!! read more

The food was very very good. I had the wedge and bruschetta for starters. The bruschetta was some of the best I've had in Omaha in a long time and the wedge was great too. Had the Lasagna for main and it was awesome too, wish they gave me more sauce with it though. The service was a little slow but it was very busy when we went on a Thursday night. I enjoyed the setting, kind of darker lit room due to the black painted ceiling but the bar towards the back is cozy. read more

Just left the restaurant and could not have been more impressed with the service and management staff. We had a few issues during dinner as there was a small leak that hit our table. Their team jumped in, made additional commendations and ended up making it a great night. Things that were out of their control they handled like rock stars. You don't see this type of service nowadays so it was refreshing. Food was fantastic and staff went above and beyond. Make a visit, You will not have anything but good to say about the service and food Thanks G120 for the class! read more

We went here on New Years Day for my husbands birthday. Since it was NYD, we got right in. Our service was extremely friendly, explained the menu and very pleasant. We had three different cocktails and they were all delicious. They also have a very nice happy hour menu - which he allowed us to order off of since we arrived with 3 minutes left. Stopped in here on a cross country road trip. After too many burgers and fries this NY Italian wanted some real food and decided to take a chance on an Italian restaurant in a strip mall. The place was nearly empty, that scared me a bit, but we ordered the muscles for an appetizer...crazy right? Seafood in Nebraska! They were perfect. The meatballs were huge, the pasta perfectly al dente...the only question I have is where the heck are all the customers? You're missing out if you pass up on going to this place! P.S. Raven was an excellent server! read more

The food was delicious! I absolutely loved the meatball small plate. Service was excellent. The bar was quick and can make a very good cocktail. The lemon tart was so good! If I had to change anything it would be the music. This place would be perfect with some softer music, maybe Italian, jazz, or Frank Sinatra rather than the 80s hits. We will be back very soon! read more

We were in the neighborhood on a Sunday morning, headed to Taxi's for brunch. Not a chance at noon on Sunday, the place was packed. It is always packed for brunch on Sundays, that is a new behavior for the place. It's a good brunch. We headed to Goose 120, around the corner and the same owners. They don't serve breakfast or brunch but they were open and it's lunchtime. We had the salmon salad ($17) and the grilled salmon sandwich, ($18) open faced on some Italian Ciabatta bread with a very large side salad. The salmon on both was fresh, cooked perfectly and tasty. I ordered mine medium and the server explained that meant well, so I ordered it rare, skeptically, but it came out like I prefer, medium rare. I'm guessing their hamburgers are cooked with the same names. Their flat bread looked excellent but I'll wait until next time. They have a good menu, simple and leans Italian. Prices are high but every restaurant has high prices, which is ok for now as long as the food is good, portions are reasonable and service is good. I would say Goose 120 meets all 3. Lunch was $50 (about what Taxi's would be) for two of us with 2 coffees ($5) two entrees, side salad and a good tip for good service. Salmon was a fine portion, not generous but fine. Service was good, she filled up our coffees a few times and food was brought quickly. They did a good job remodeling from Rivera's, too. Looks like they have a party room, now, which is a good idea. Get to the Goose and check it out soon. It was NOT busy for Sunday brunch. All day happy hour on Sunday too. They have a ways to go before they are up to the Taxis standard but they are off to a good start for a new restaurant. read more

My wife and I went to Goose120 today. All I can is WOW! From the moment we met our server, Mel, when we walked in through paying the check we had top-shelf service. Mel knew all the drinks and menu items like the back of her hand. She walled us through the cocktails and even helped me decide on an entree. The place had a nice elegant vibe and the tables were spaced so that everyone could enjoy private conversation. 10/10 recommend. We will be back. Ask for Mel!! read more

I don't leave many reviews. But tonight's dinner at Goose 120 was exceptionally enjoyable and thus I am leaving this positive review. Four of us dined at the Goose for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed our four different meals. Very, very nice. Our server was exceptional as well. We enjoyed our experience for just over two hours. Just a great evening. Everyone in our group plans to make this restaurant a regular part of our dining rotation. My husband and I went to enjoy a lunch at Goose120 and we live here in Omaha. We ordered the Lobster Gnocchi and Thunder Goose salad. The salad was quite delicious and very filling. The Gnocchi had a creamy red sauce and without lobster. I mentioned to waitress and she implied the gnocchi and bacon absorbed the lobster flavor. She also mentioned that there were 3 oz of lobster in each dish when I asked. I saw or tasted only bacon. It is a rather pricy dish for what we received. read more

First thing when I walked in, the hostess was obviously not enjoying working or having to do the job she was doing. Server was nice but very inexperienced. We ordered the calamari as starter, it was not calamari; it was fried rolled imitation crab. Huge issue for people with allergies. Food was very mediocre.. under seasoned, over cooked, and lacked flavor that is expected of a higher class restaurant. Atmosphere was pretty but very bland/sterile looking. read more
