Additionally, I found his demeanor to be aggressive and rude, which left me feeling quite intimidated during what should have been a neurological eye exam. If there was any confusion regarding my referral, I would have been more than willing to seek care from a regular ophthalmologist instead through my vision benefits. Furthermore, Mr. Singh's assertion that he could conduct an exam for neurological patients--which, again, was merely a standard eye exam--felt disingenuous. It was alarming to hear him mention the financial pressures faced by the practice, suggesting a potential motive behind the misleading language used in your marketing. Asking, "Would you like glasses today?" is deceptive; the question should clearly state, "Would you like a prescription today?" if that is indeed what you are offering. On the matter of billing, I was informed that my appointment would cost $150 after insurance, a figure I accepted. However, I was subsequently charged additional fees (outside the $50 prescription) that were not communicated upfront. This lack of transparency necessitated my request for an itemized receipt, which, as of now, has yet to be provided. Under legal obligations, it is your responsibility to furnish such documentation upon request. Moreover, if my expectations of being treated with respect, transparency, and dignity are deemed atypical, then it appears that your team may be disconnected from the expectations of contemporary patient care. I firmly believe that every patient deserves to be treated courteously and honestly. While I have shared Google reviews in the past to you stated that I shared only 8 and of 8, five were all 1 star reviews, which is a False statement. I've shared 10 Google Reviews, 5 were 4 stars and above, and the remaining 5 which includes yours between 1-3 stars which outlined my unsatisfactory experiences. I strive to present factual accounts on good experiences as well as bad. Sorry you were the 5th HORRIBLE experience I posted about. But I have to warn others. Especially after looking at your lower reviews, it appears you have a patter of conning your patients out of money through your unclear presentation of prescriptions, causing them to have exams and procedures they didn't need all for your financial gain. My aim is to inform potential patients of potential issues they may encounter in your practice. This also gives you time for reflection and change so you can provide better patient care. Ultimately, while financial concerns were not my primary issue, the absence of transparency and honest communication is paramount. The way patients are treated should reflect integrity and professionalism, and my experience fell short in these regards. I hope that you will take this feedback seriously and consider improving your practices moving forward. Please refrain from your racial undertones in your response and your passive aggression and attacks regarding MS patients, especially if you are going to use God to conclude your response! That's tacky. I would recommend you do your compliance courses which you are clearly skipping, so that you don't end up in a lawsuit because of your pride and arrogance. We went to Phoenician Eye Specialist primarily due to existing reviews…read more The staff is nice enough. However, there have been significant problems with our glasses. They took much longer than expected. Additionally, my new pair was wrong from the start and had to be sent back to be done over again. After about three weeks, I phoned them to ask for a status update and they stated that they had phoned the previous week to say that the glasses were ready. A check of logs for our mobiles and landline proved otherwise. When I got the glasses back, they initially looked clear. However, I discovered the next day while working from home that I had to put my face way too close to my 32" monitor just to see clearly. They have known from the beginning that I sit about 30" inches from my monitor. At my normal distance of about 30" from my monitor, the image was clearer without the glasses than with and they immediately gave me bad headaches. I have since gone back to my previous pair which are much clearer than the new pair. They had the lenses remade and swapped them out when they were finally ready. While they were better than the prior pair, I was not entirely sure about them. I tried them while working and simply cannot use them. The lenses have a spot quite a bit smaller than a dime where they are somewhat okay. The moment, you turn your head slightly while still looking at the same object, the image starts to become blurry. I have never experienced this with lenses. I have always been able to turn my head while maintaining focus on the object and still see things fairly clearly. I will not be going back to Phoenician Eye Specialists for a fourth attempt at getting them correct because it should not be this difficult to get a set of glasses. I have been wearing glasses for about 20 years and have never had these difficulties. All in all, I am not impressed with Phoenician Eye Specialists. I now have a set of glasses that I cannot and will not use. We will be finding a different vision provider for our next exam and glasses.
