I thought the price of it would be like $20 or dollars, but they did it for free because most places charge you for these type of things. I have been taking my cars to Goodyear in Jupiter, FL, for many years. In May 2024, I had my car serviced and purchased four tires. I spent over $1,000 that day. I specifically asked that my windshield wiper fluid be filled. A few days later, I noticed that the wiper fluid wasn't working. I had it checked, and it had been filled; but the motor that makes the fluid go to the windshield had been damaged. It was working fine when I arrived at Goodyear. I went back to Goodyear. I stood and waited. Two different employees said "I'll be with you in a minute." Eventually, the dark brown haired person (there was a technician with white hair and a technician with sandy hair), said he could help me. I explained about bringing the car in a couple of weeks previously, and that now my windshield wiper fluid motor wasn't working. He asked me if I was leaving the car there. I was not. He said if I waited, it could be hours before they got to it; and then suggested that I bring the car back another day. At this point, I was distressed by his attitude and told him I would take the car somewhere else, because it seemed there was the possibility they had broken the windshield wiper fluid motor, but now didn't want to fix it. We purchased a battery for our Lincoln MK 1 yr ago(it was warranted for 3 yrs). Twice this week the battery went dead and we called AAA to come and jumpstart the car. We then took it to Goodyear and they said nothing was wrong with the battery. Then again the battery was dead, AAA came and started it and we were told the battery was bad, but Goodyear insisted the battery was good. So we took the Lincoln to the dealer where we bought the car thinking maybe the car had a problem? They ran a diagnostic test and nothing wrong with the car, the battery was BAD! We purchased a new battery and will eat the cost of the old battery instead of dealing with an unethical business. read more

I first came to this Goodyear about a year ago and received top notch service. I scheduled an oil change and they also check your fluids and tire pressure for free. I also needed an engine air filter change but they didn't have any in stock. The assistant manager told me to go to pep boys and buy one and they would install it for me for free. He said it would be cheaper that way than me having to wait for them to order one. I appreciated their service enough that this year I came back. They changed my oil and did a tire rotation for free. They also noticed my AC filter was long overdue for a change and took care of it for me. I trust them completely with my car. I even received a phone call the next day after my service to check in and make sure everything was working well. They are honest and provide top notch service. read more

Went here due to my AC stopped working. They quoted me $1,200 to repair it, when I told them I'd think about they charged me $78 for a diagnostic which basically took them 30min. My and my dad decided to try and fix it ourselves and turns out my AC clutch was the problem not the compressor. Long story short we spent $42 for a new clutch and thanks to YouTube we were able to do it ourselves! These guy straight up lied to my face and told me it was my compressor. Don't believe anything they tell you! They will try to squeeze the most money out of you! I recommend no one do business with these scam artists. Giving good mechanics a bad rep. I had an 11 am appointment for an oil change, checked back an hour and a half later and was told my car would not be ready for 5 to 8 hours FOR AN OIL CHANGE! Horrible place!!! They definitely do a bait and switch. Firs, I was quoted a price of $34.95 for synthetic blend oil change. I had made an appointment so I would NOT have to be kept waiting. However, After 1 hour I asked the front desk guy when car would be done. He gave me some story about how they check everything! Yeah, right. Well,after another 20 minutes went by, I discreetly headed to the back area where their garage was. My car was finally getting worked on, and I asked the guy why it was taking so long. It looked like he had 5 other vehicles he was working on, and he was the ONLY mechanic there!! He apologized; I asked him what the point was of making an appointment ahead of time! He just shrugged and said he didn't know! THEN, when I went to check out, I saw that my $34.95 had turned into $42.30. There were all these added charges that were never mentioned, like, discount labor, discount parts, and shop supplies??!! Totally bull! I am going to dispute their charge with my credit card company. I will also report them to the BBB. They are a bunch of scam artists who are just ripping customers off. Well, this customer Will NEVER RETURN THERE!!! Called and made an appointment for oil change (full synthetic) and tire rotation (which is included) for our 2015 Outback on a Thursday. Arrived on time and waited. Half hour or so later was told that after the multi-point inspection, my cabin and engine filters needed replacement. Showed me one and it was dirty, so I gave the authorization, which they said was labor free! All well and good. Completion was about another half hour, and I paid and left. I noticed an odd sound in the front left and checked for a branch, but saw nothing. It seemed to go away, but as I started out again I noticed a thud sound from the rear. Looked in the mirror and saw nothing, but assumed it was the roadbed. Drove another 120 miles noticing these same sounds occurring during starting trips. Called Our dealer and he said to bring it in first thing Monday. Got a call mid-morning and was told the transmission fluid was gone. It was drained instead of the oil! They said this has happened recently to several other vehicles. Not covered under warranty, so it cost me well over $300 for the replacement fluid. Returned to the Indiantown Road Goodyear, and they refunded the oil change fees, but said the other bill would be covered by Corporate. Still waiting.... Let's hope this is an unusual event, but for me I do not plan to return, unless I get the Corporate check soon, like the next week or so. read more

Almost a 2 hour wait to get two rear tires put on. After the first half hour and my car was still sitting in the parking lot untouched I asked the attendant when they might get to it. The attendant claimed he couldn't find my ticket. 15 minutes later they must have "found it" yet still took another hour plus to put them on. No apology. Oh and when I arrived there was a line at the counter and no attendant. After 10 mins I used my cell to call the store and someone in the back answered and I had to inform him there was a line waiting at the counter. Won't be back. read more

I have been getting my oil changed at the Goodyear Auto Service Center 1350 West Indiantown Road Jupiter for several years now for two of our cars. I got a new car/used car, Scion xB 2010. The first oil change I was told I needed synthetic oil. When I asked more about that being a requirement they said semi-synthetic would be OK. I left and called Earl Stewart Toyota of Palm Beach and Treasure Coast Toyota of Stuart, FL. I talked to the service manager at each dealership and both explained in detail that there are two sets of numbers on my oil fill cap describing the viscosity of synthetic or conventional oil. I told them that Goodyear wouldn't put conventional oil in my car and they said whoever told me that didn't know what they were talking about. Both managers said the car comes from the factory with conventional oil. I also did extensive google searches and confirmed over and over that my car will take conventional oil. The person at the desk and the manager at the Goodyear (mentioned above) not only refused putting in conventional oil, they treated my like I just insulted them. I will never do business there again. I thought I had built a rapport with them, apparently that's not a concern for them. This was sent to Goodyear Coorporate. read more
