This used to be a well trusted for my previous cars. A few years ago I received wrong diagnoses on my car leaving me to get another one. I kept the old one and guess, what it still works to this day! Then the one I replaced it with I was told the gas gauge was replaced but would not register gas amount. I was told it was changed, and it became worse. I was told he would replace it again, and I kept calling and was told he was contesting it with the manufacturer. After a few months of getting the same BS, I stopped going there. He is a family man. I suppose his family is growing and he needs money to keep them up. Oh, and he is now closed an extra day as well. Another reason to upcharge his customers. Stay away! read more

When I think about shopping local, it's about supporting the small business. But it is also about getting that small-town service. At Budget Tire, I'm not a number. Frank, the owner, knows my name. Knows my vehicle. Gives excellent customer service and I feel as if I'm getting great value for what I spend. Last time I was there, I was low on oil. Frank topped it off (Volvo's are known to drink oil). When I asked him the charge, he said he'd put it on my account and I could pay for it when I got the next oil change. I had a badly leaking tire on my Tesla and found Budget Tire on the internet. The minute I walked in the door I was happy. Warmly greeted by Frankie who explained it would take 5 minutes to diagnose the problem with a good chance it could be quickly patched with the worst case they'd order a new tire. 5 minutes later he reported the tire was repaired and the tire pressure on all four tires properly adjusted. Then when I handed him my credit card he smiled and said "no charge ". He just won a customer for life! read more

The one star is generous i wish i could give zero stars!!! total rip off, they overcharge for everything and its boarder line against the law. I did a little research after they fixed my wife's car and found out they over charged us $350 for a rear axle. I took my car there and they wanted to charge me 700 plus tax to check the transmission. found out that was over 200 more than it should have been. I recommend never going there ever, the only thing i got out of the experience is a new mechanic that i can trust and is honest. read more

This job involved custom work (rebuilt seat for improved driver comfort) beyond what my dealer could do. Frank and his staff are able to do unusual work at reasonable prices. read more
