Went back to Atlantic Tire the other day because Nissan said I needed a new battery, so since I had bought the current battery from Atlantic tire and it was under warranty I told Nissan that I would take it back to them. Atlantic told me they tested the battery several times and could not find a problem but would exchange for a new one if it would make me feel more comfortable. They performed that service at no charge, much appreciated! I will repeat my experience thus far with Atlantic Tire is, they are very honest and would certainly recommend them. read more

lol the worst tire shop in Martin . Decided to give them one more try I scheduled a alignment get a text message saying that due to circumstances of last time because they lost valve stems on $4000 wheels and because one of their employees had to drive to the building to open it up they can't service me anymore. This is the worst shop I have ever been to by far. i'd recommend going to extreme performance, even tire kingdom can do a better job in these clowns. VERY ARROGANT ; I rarely write any review, but ER and Tom the Alignment Man need an ATTITUDE Adjustment and SOLVE AUTO PROBLEMS for CUSTOMERS when their work did not work the First Time. Brought a Classic to Tom for alignment. All went fine. Brought my Porsche 911, things went very wrong. Put (2) new Tires on the Rear and Alignment. Took that car out of the highway and it was wandering. Took me by surprise and almost ran into another vehicle when passing around them! Do you think that was ANY concern or the Owner, E.R. or Tom . Hell NO! Tom was too busy protecting his EGO and was telling me the car was out of spec etc.. HAD NO PORBLEMS UNTIL He Touched it. Made an Appt for a Recheck and was also told to put on 4 new tires all of the same compound. Fine. Asked Rhonda for a TIre Quote. Sure! .... and she never got back to me on it... So the Message was Clear... They really did not want to work on the car and was ignoring me. I took the car to Orbit Porsche Racing in Riviera Beach . They won the 2004 Rolex 24 in Daytona and only work on Porsches for years. Trusted by many of my Porsche friends', just a hike from Stuart Orbit came back and told me " The Person Who Aligned It Did Not Know What They Were Doing ( That's You Tom) " , 4 wheel aligned her, put the new tires on and Wella ! Perfect down the road. Went back to ER as he had offered an alignment refund. Instead of saying " I'm sorry it didn't work out etc." this ARROGANT JERK asked to see the alignment report from Orbit. I obliged and then Tom and ER have the BALLS to tell me Orbit really did nothing that Tom did not do already and they didn't really fix it. It was only the new tires. ER was VERY DIMISIVVE and could give Two SH..TS that I almost HAD A WRECK Due to THEIR STUPIDITY. Atlantic is a "Production Shop" . Poor customer service experience today with the 2 gentleman working up front. In previous visits here, I have been fortunate enough to work with Rhonda and continue to think she is an asset to the store. No complaints with the work done on my vehicle. Just would like a more friendly and helpful experience with all the clerks. I had 2 tires installed that I purchased online from a third party with Atlantic Tires to perform the installation (I have used them in the past). I selected a Wednesday for installation. Online store arranged with Atlantic tire an 0800 am drop off time. Dropped the car off at 0800 am with the older gentleman who in not so friendly of a manner, informed me that vehicle wouldn't be ready till end of the day (perhaps 3rd party jobs are pushed to the back of the line?). Obviously, they are a busy establishment but I think he could have tried to explain better why such a delay (maybe Wednesday drop off shouldn't have been offered if they barely had time to complete the job). I called the store around 430 pm for a status and the older gentleman answered the phone and informed me that it should be done by 5 pm. I got there at 5 pm (thinking they closed then) and got to interact with the other grumpy bear possible owner, who was quick to inform me that the vehicle hadn't been worked on yet and that if I wanted I could take the vehicle and schedule another appointment 1 to 2 weeks from now...Definitely some tone and condescension in his voice. Otherwise, I would have to come back at closing time, 5:30 to pick the car up. Bottom line, imo, if pleasant customer service experience is important to you, try to deal with clerk named Rhonda as she is very helpful and friendly or perhaps look for another service. read more

After a horrible experience with a vendor around the corner, my guard was up. I phoned Goodyear warranty service and they connected me with this shop. Not long after I hung up with them, the sweetest tire rep called from Atlantic. They sourced my tire and apologized that it would take two business days to come in. They text the day before to confirm it was in and to schedule an appointment. I showed up and was greeted immediately by staff. The waiting area was clean and the air con was on blast. A big screen was playing the latest Top Gun movie. I mentioned that I needed to take a business call and they recommended Tropical Smoothie around the corner for a place to sit. I was able to Zoom there, grab lunch and headed over to wait in the shop when I was done. They had plenty of comfy seats. I provided my warranty paperwork and again, they were on it, explaining instead of reimbursing they would only charge for labor and a new warranty if I wanted it, which kept the cost as low as possible and the risk on them to get reimbursed by Goodyear. They gave me status updates and it seemed like no time that the car was ready, the spare was placed back securely in the trunk, the new tire was on, the old one disappeared and I was on my merry way. Friendly service, timely information and the next day a follow up text to check on my satisfaction with their work-I could not ask for a smoother tire warranty repair experience. The down side here is limited parking at times, but they more than make up for it with their pricing and service. I had to order tires, which they said would be delivered around 9am the next day. Dropped my car at 9, they were done by 11, and called as soon as they were ready. Great price on tires and mounting/balancing compared to their competitors. Super easy, great work and quick. I couldn't ask for more. They even called the next day to make sure I was happy with everything. These guys are very service oriented. I can see why they're busy all the time. read more

The first time I came here. It was because tires plus attempted to charge me a lot more for the same brand with insurance - waited two hours and they never touched my car... Anyways, they (Atlantic) changed my tires quick with my newborn and 15 month old in tow. I caught a nail in my tire and they were so friendly and while it took longer this time....They were kind and they did the job right. Yelp is a great tool if you use it before you to business with companies that have bad yelps. It's funny the only bad yelps have to do with this guy. If this is the owner of Atlantic Tire Center in Stuart Florida, avoid him unless you want to ruin your day. He is extremely rude , it's to much to get into but he said " I can put your old tire on and you can get out of here. After sitting there while they unloaded the truck for the tire I ordered he said for him to honor the manufacturers warranty on tire defect he would have to put the tire back on the car to check it. Why didn't they do that before taking it off I told him I was in a hurry , so he tells me this after they changed the tire. The tire cost me $80.00 that means they get it for maybe $30.00 that shows you that for $50.00 this guy will treat you terrible and get into a confrontation with a customer. There are many many tire places in the area I say you check them out before going here. I noticed other people complained about him on yelp , And in the rebottle rather than apologize 100% to the other folks to complain they say things like oh I noticed you leave other people bad yelp, well that's what yelp is to give feedback to the public good or bad. Rather than defend bad behavior why don't you just fix the problem. I said I told him I was in a hurry, and i did but he could of checked out the tire before they took it of the rim. If they would have done that and told me my tire was not covered I would have just taken the tire and changed it at my job I work for a dealer rather than sit there to be hassled by this guy. I don't trust auto repair places at all but this place put my faith back in honesty and customer service. Rhonda, the front desk manager, was so pleasant and helpful. She gave me a time frame and was very accurate. When my Jeep was done....Tom came over and shook my hand to let me know we were all set. What? Try to find another place where they do that. He chatted about my tires and really took pride in doing a great job. ER processed my payment and actually filled out my rebate form online so I didn't have to. Wow!!! Went to Atlantic Tire, Stuart, because the low tire pressure light in my 2015 Civic kept coming on. Was told the tire had a nail in it too close to the tire wall to repair. I was never shown the tire but agreed to buy a new one as I was going on a road trip and wanted to be safe. I was met with a rude, argumentative man, Ellsworth, who was more concerned with getting me to blindly sign off on repairs that I might not even need than finding the solution to the problem. Come to find out, he's the owner! I recommend going somewhere your business is valued and you are treated w/respect. P.S. 2 weeks ago went into Atlantic Tire for the first time. My 2000 Mercury Mountaineer needed rotors, calipers, new brakes and an oil change. I was very pleased with the work done here. Rhonda, the office manager was very nice and informative. I stayed while they worked on my car and got to chat with other pleased customers and the mechanic. I recently purchased a Corvette. Yesterday morning I went out and a tire was flat. The tires were only 2 weeks old from the dealer. Pumped it up, and drove to Atlantic. Busy Saturday morning, no appointment. I had been a customer before and knew how good they are, but had not been in for 4-5 years. They took the Vette back immediately, knew how to jack it up without any possible body damage, identified the problem, fixed it, checked all my other tires, and quickly sent me on my way. Original tires on my 2009 Saturn VUE were wearing down. We plan to keep the car for a long time, as it is low mileage, and we were looking for a local place to get good tires and do regular service on the vehicle. We got a great set of tires (and a rebate). We have gone back for several oil changes and routine maintenance, and the charges are so so reasonable, I feel like we are back in the 60's. No charge for tire rotation or nitrogen filups for the tires, as; covered with the tire purchase. I stopped by when my tail light popped out of the back of the car... Ellsworth popped it back in, and wouldn't charge. They have done several other minor things like that, and never take advantage. Rhonda is a gem, and has driven me back home and picked me up when I had to leave the car. Nice seating, WiFi, TV, a TON of assorted and up to date magazines, and.. a Keurig coffee brewer with a great selection of coffees. This is a good local company. I have purchased 3 sets of tires at ATC and never had a problem. This time was a little different. I purchased another set of General Grabbers and when going over 60 MPH the steering wheel started shaking. I returned to ATC and in the end the Grabbers had to be removed and we upgraded to a better tire the General Continentals LX20s. The shaking is gone. The owner agreed to absorb the difference between the old and new tires which shows what good business is all about. read more
