I wouldn't of had jiffy lube do my brakes anyway, but still! My response to Jiffy lubes comment... I would not expect you to "account for my outside mechanic", but I would expect you to listen to a loyal customer who has brought a legitimate concern to your attention. And this mechanic is someone who I have known and used for more than 10 years. My instructions to him were as follows "I know my brakes were bad because the good folks at Jiffy Lube examined my vehicle and determined they were so go ahead and fix them". My "outside" mechanic called me and said that he will replace them if I really wanted him to, but there is nothing wrong with them, they have plenty of life left and I can't add any brake fluid because your brake fluid is full". So at best, your people are incompetent and your "standard evaluation process" that you stand behind is flawed. And at worst your people are liars and frauds. I fear for the elderly or the people that just trust you. Would they have just replaced them or been honest in the long run and said no you don't need anything? I have the documentation to prove it and I think I will contact the Consumer Division of the FL State Attorneys office and file a complaint since you do not seem to want to take ownership of the problem.

I asked "H" for two years, "FS" for four years, to check the wiring and mounts for loose wire/unit. None of them did, they just replaced it, never even checked the unit, wiring or mounting screws. Each time they charged me (H) 125.00, (FS) 175.00, to " replace" it. However, at Paradise, He listened to me then ran right out there, said I was right the mounting screws were lose, there was nothing wrong with the pump. screws were loose, causing the site to be loose, He tightened it in minutes, I only go there now. They are respectful, honest, fairly priced and I know I'm helping a family, not a corporation. Win win.

My car faced ongoing performance issues, and every time they failed to identify and address the problems. They replaced some components and did not resolve the main issues. It has become evident that their primary focus is on ensuring customers keep returning, rather than delivering satisfactory repairs. This situation has been frustrating and financially burdensome, as I had to cover the expenses for repairs that should have been addressed under the car warranty sold by Palm Tree Auto Sales.

First, I logged on to the Goodyear website to make an appointment with a local service provider to replace/fix a single tire and was assigned this location. I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment, walked in and was not met with greetings, I was met with "We are super busy do you have an appointment?" I indicated that I had an appointment and they said I wasn't in their system. I said that I made the appointment online using the Goodyear website. Reply: "We don't have anything to do with corporates website, you need to phone us directly for an appointment." Strange, nothing on corporates website indicated this and they did assign an appointment to this location, with text-based confirmation. If this is the case, it's between this location and corporate to clear up, not me as a customer. Then the two men at the front desk alternated and said they would look at the tire and give an assessment but no guarantee they could fit me in or fix it and why didn't I make an appointment? I was willing to wait or come back but I didn't understand what else they needed. I tried to keep an open mind but when one of them looked at me and said: "Didn't you look where you were driving, how do you get a bolt stuck in your tire anyway?" And laughed in my face, that was the line. Finally one of them said why didn't you call the warranty number, we don't do any warranty work direct only through the warranty line, pieces of the puzzle were clearer. I asked if they had the number and was met with "call the company you originally purchased the tires with and let them give it to you. We don't have that." I reiterated how I found them through the Goodyear website for repair/ replacement of a Goodyear tire, and that Goodyear was in their business name and they reiterated that they couldn't help me and why did I come here without calling the warranty line. I found out later that they could have looked it up, and when the warranty number customer service agent mentioned this, and that they could arrange the replacement for the tire through this location, they understood why I declined. Another local area tire company was able to order the tire that I needed, I phoned their number and was given exceptional service over the phone. They explained the process, next steps to getting my tire replaced, they would call when it was ready and they provided a number if I had any additional questions. Granted, I didn't know that I needed to call the Goodyear warranty number first to open a claim before showing up for the original appointment, but there's a nice way of telling me this and one that involves laughing at my expense more than once, and then saying "just messin with ya". Not interested in being messed with, thank you. Goodyear may be in their name but they must not be cozy with corporate because they don't know their warranty number, don't honor their booking system and are not prepared to relay policy information nicely. Hard pass.
