Brought my Jaguar XK in for an oil change and walked out with a $365 bill! For an oil change!!! I know, they "threw in" a complete multi-point check of my vehicle ( which I didn't order by the way) but $365!! Really!!! They are nice folks and provided great service even calling to check on how they did a few days after but $365 for an oil change! I'll be the first to tell you that there is value in good service but... at $365, I'll be looking elsewhere for my next oil change. read more

This is the second time we've taken our Volvo to European Car Performance. The first time we went it was for the required maintenance which they did, we were pleased with the great job they did. They are professional, very knowledgeable and friendly, that's why decided to go again when we needed a new battery. They did an excellent job again and their price was comparable to the dealership. We got right in and they took care of it. I even got a follow up phone call a few days later to make sure everything was all right. I do not live in San Francisco, it is a mistake on yelp's site. I was doing business with European exclusively for 5 years? I trusted them and I recommended them. I no longer do, they are FRAUDLENT AND DISHONEST!! Taylor specialises in lying to your face! You tell him you want new OEM and he puts in rebuilt parts. Of course he then charges you for new OEM. Did he do the maintenance he said he did on your vehicle? He damages your car and instead of telling you and giving you the option or offering to fix it,(they're insured thru Nationwide Ins.) They'll have an outside collison shoppe do a shoddy repair behind your back. Then when you catch him they'll blame it on you! These are bad lying people, Gianni is no better. If you choose to to bring your exotic car there, be prepared to be defrauded, no matter how long, or how much business you give them. Five years and almost $20k yet Taylor treats you like a mark! FRAUDULENT BUSINESS PRACTICES, SUBSTANDARD REPAIRS, POOR COMMUNICATION, OVERPRICED SERVICES I've been dealing with Gianni and Taylor for a couple of years on my 2006 Porsche Boxster. While they were the highest prices in the area they had established a trust and reliability with myself. The work was good and spot on. I trusted them so I did not check their work. The car always seemed to be fixed to my specification. UP UNTIL NOW... After getting the ok from Taylor and assurances he would be able to handle the job in house, I had my car flat bedded to European. The car needed two new mag wheels, three tires, powder coating of the wheels, and a straight replacement of the rear bumper cover. No bodywork! Taylor handled the insurance estimate and knew what needed to be done. The only thing Taylor had to send out and sublet was the painting of a NEW bumper cover and powdercoat the 2 new wheels. The car NEVER HAD TO LEAVE their shop. Nor was any mention of a sublet discussed or authorized by myself. After 4 weeks i got the car back and they had painted the ORIGINAL rear bumper in such a shoddy manner it looked like it was done with a spray can. The damaged bumper cover was sticking out from the side fender. Then i noticed on the FRONT of the car the marker lamps on both sides where LOOSE AND PROTRUDING. There was paint drips on the left front fender and the FRONT BUMPER! I observed a crease on the lower front fender, shoddily covered up by clearcoat. Overspray everywhere! Defects never there before. Apparently the car was hit while in their custody. This car looked like it came out of a showroom when i gave it to them, it's now scratched up on the trunk fenders, hood , etc. I was never informed of any of this. When i questioned Gianni they told me they sublet the entire job out to Eugene of M & S AUTO , 4255 Westroads Drive in WEST PALM BEACH! Visited this place to find out what happened there, spoke to Eugene the owner. The place is a SHITHOLE! And they towed it 45 miles there, not flat bedded, towed. THEY TOWED A PORSCHE ? They were never ever authorized to do this , nor was I informed. How cold, irresponsible, and unprofessional! Now i have to make another new claim to my insurance company and it's more costly and involved to fix because of the horror show they produced. The wheel alignment and balancing of the new wheels were never done. The powder coating was incorrectly done. I had to pay a reputable shop to redo these items as the car handled and road like shit. After i confronted Gianni he got arrogant and angry because i refused to bring him back the car so he could "fix" it. Is he out of his friggin' mind? I wouldn't trust these con artists to screw in the missing screws on my license plate that were never reinstalled. Plus my jack and logo tire pressure caps were stolen. Finally out of a $5500. job they credited my cc account $1750. for the bumper and paint they were paid to replace but never did as specified. I am as shocked as you would be after dealing with with for 3 years. This is all true, verified in a number of ways, photos, in writing, and i have audio files of Eugene telling me everything. I've since checked other work that i had them do, only them, over the years and instead of replacing a/c unit, alternator, and rotor disks with new Porsche OEM, they were replaced with reconed units. So next time you go in for work at European , DO YOU KNOW WHAT THEY REALLY DID? Did they really change the oil and filter, or just clean the old filter and top off your oil? Do you really know without seeing them do it? Are they going to send your exotic car to another shop? I've read the positive reviews here. Before i caught them i might have said the exact same things. Not anymore, they did over $4000. in additional damages and seriously devalued my Porsche. Some of the most untrustworthy rip off artists, I've ever come across from a shop. I've spent thousands of dollars at this shop over months that only should of taken days. Only to have my vehicle come back worse than before. Deplorable wait times, lack of communication, high prices, and work so horrendous it will leave you speechless. Per example, I took the vehicle in 2 separate times for spark plugs. They re-tightened them incorrectly, didn't call me to ask if I wanted them changed out. Handed me a bill upon arrival and then said I had to wait two weeks if I wanted them replaced. After they had already made me wait two weeks just for that appointment! They didn't replace them come to find out AT ALL, they only re-tightened them again INCORRECTLY! I am a new resident of Stuart, FL and own a Mercedes SL500 that has mostly been maintained by the MB dealership at my other home. However, within weeks of having it shipped to Stuart, I began experiencing an unusual noise from the rear of the car, It was very puzzling since there was no evidence that the car's performance was affected. Fortunately I selected European Car Performance to investigate the issue. After a careful and extensive investigation, their technician determined that it was the gas tank. All cars as well as aircraft fuel tanks have partial "dams" in the fuel tanks called "baffles." In this case one of the "baffles" broke loose and was causing the unusual noise as it sloshed around the tank. Since it was an expensive repair, Gianni Crescini, the owner personally got involved and allowed me to help locate a tank priced more reasonably than the local Dealership. Needless to say I was impressed. I was thoroughly satisfied with everyone involved from Taylor, who provided the information about the repair, the technician that discovered issue, Robert who provided transportation, and especially Gianni who saved me money. About two years ago, however, I was referred by a client of mine to the family-owned European Car Performance shop which is much more conveniently located in Palm City. For 25 years, Gianni has built a reputation of maintaining people's foreign cars (I've seen everything from Rolls Royce, Ferraris, Mercedes, BMWs, etc) for a reasonable price. Can't say enough good things about this shop. I've been there three times and all experiences were fantastic. My first time there I dropped off my car with a major oil and coolant leak. They quickly diagnosed the issue, and upon looking into it found out it was a recall on the vehicle. Rather than proceed with the repair, they called me to say that the issue was a recall and that the dealership would be able to fix it for free. This was not quick oil change either, it took the dealer nearly two weeks to repair the vehicle, and would have cost me around $5,000. That kind of honesty to pass up a high dollar job to go out of their way and let me know it could be done for free was unbelievable and I can't thank them enough. Another concern with a eurpoean auto shop is the price as these types of vehicles are notoriously expensive to fix. This week I had another issue with my car, and the dealer quoted me $1,800 for the repair. I called up European Car Performance and they are currently working on the car, and have told me it will cost $700. An $1,100 savings! Again, unbelievable. Finally, when I had my car towed there last night I went to the shop to wait for the driver and make sure it arrived without issue. I got there around 6:30. I noticed a few guys were still there so went in to let them know the car was coming and that we could talk the next morning during business hours. Johnny greated me inside, started up the computer to get everything started for the repair, and even offered me coffee while I waited for the tow truck to arrive. All in all, I highly recommend this shop and wouldn't go anywhere else for anything from routine maintenance to significant repairs! read more

I had been to another repair shop and they told me I needed a lot of work done. After talking with my son he said there was no way that much needed to be don so I went to European and Taylor was great made my appointment and they drove me home and then picked me up.
