I used to go to "H", then "FS", but they never listened to me, because I'm female. I found this place, family owned and close to me, I'm so glad I did, I explained to the nice younger gentleman this issue I have had for years about my windshield wiper pump breaking every 4-6 months which is not normal. I asked "H" for two years, "FS" for four years, to check the wiring and mounts for loose wire/unit. None of them did, they just replaced it, never even checked the unit, wiring or mounting screws. Each time they charged me (H) 125.00, (FS) 175.00, to " replace" it. However, at Paradise, He listened to me then ran right out there, said I was right the mounting screws were lose, there was nothing wrong with the pump. screws were loose, causing the site to be loose, He tightened it in minutes, I only go there now. They are respectful, honest, fairly priced and I know I'm helping a family, not a corporation. Win win. read more

They replaced the resevoir and still was leaking coolant, took it back and replaced the thermostat and car was leaking and overheating, I was charged over $850 for parts not needed. Just moved to the area and brought my car in for an oil change. In the process of changing the oil they broke my oil cap and blamed the last person who changed my oil. They charged me the full retail price for the new cap, no discount. In addition, they were spraying auto body parts in their parking lot. Not good for the environment and overspray will land on customer cars. read more

There is something about using a local mechanic that really feels good. I love when they all know my name and I know all of their names. I have used a dealership for years. I didn't have a bad experience, but going to Paradise Tire and Auto Repair, I found a 'family' type atmosphere. It's nice to just walk in and not wait in long lines to get a service rep. It's nice to have pleasant conversation and meet new people instead of being put into a lounge area. It's nice to know the prices and service are likely to be better than that of the dealerships. I took my car in to resolve a mysterious "chugging" engine sound that happened after the car idled temporarily (like at a stop light). I was able to get an appointment the very next day, and I dropped the car off in the morning, The service manager, Brian, was very friendly and helpful. Later that day, Brian called to tell me that he'd found the problem and fixed: a worn- out ignition coil. He told me price of a new part (under $40) and that it wouldn't take long to repair. When I picked up the car, I was happy to find out that Brian solved the problem by using a new ignition coil to testing each of the old ignition coils, until he found the bad one. He could have replaced ALL of the ignition coils (as many repair shops do) and charged a lot more. He went on to tell me that he treats customer's money like it was his own money. There is such a knowledge gap in the auto repair business, it's hard to know who to trust, and who is trying to soak you. After meeting the family, and getting such honest service, Paradise and Palm Tree are my new go-to for all things auto. Thanks guys! read more

I recently had a new timing belt installed on my 2005 Mitsubishi Galant, and I can say with certainty that Paradise Tire and Service exceeded my expectations! Not only was the price more than reasonable (this was my 2nd time replacing the timing belt on this vehicle), but I was actually allowed to enter the garage and observe Jason, the mechanic, working on my car. This is never allowed at most other auto service establishments, but at Paradise, they want you to observe the care and detail that goes into their work. Brian, the Service Adviser, kept me company while waiting for my car, even though he had other things that he was working on. Might I add that a job of this magnitude normally takes 3+ hours, yet at Paradise, they were finished with my car earlier than scheduled. I was very pleased overall with Paradise Tire and Service, and having met both Lisa and Anthony, who are members of the family who own Paradise, I feel comfortable stating that I will be a customer for a long time. Big shout out to Paradise Tire and Service. This is the second visit to Paradise for different services, the last visit was for new spark plugs on a Lexus RX 350. My car is out of warranty and I refuse to go to the dealer who inevitably comes back with a laundry list of unnecessary repairs and hours of diagnostic time. As I am relatively new to the area, and as a woman who is not that car savvy, I needed a mechanic I could trust completely. I found Paradise through Yelp and am very pleased. First, Ramon, the service manager, is awesome. We discussed possible needed services (my suggestions) and he said they would check while doing the main service. He called to give me an update during the day and said no other services were necessary, except brake pads which I could tell I needed. He said the rotors were fine. Imagine! An auto repair shop that doesn't try to take advantage of you. I asked the shop to check over my vehicle for other issues and they came back with a minor repair to be done at a later date. Since I left my car at the shop for the repair, Ramon called me a couple times during the day - once to let me know what they found and the other to let me know the service was completed (and it was at an earlier time than promised). I should mention my vehicle has about 145,000 miles on it so the potential for repairs is high. I feel like Paradise Auto and staff are trustworthy, professional, knowledgeable, and fair.
