Interactions with 2 staff members are what leads me to provide this review so that others can avoid similar treatment. First, I logged on to the Goodyear website to make an appointment with a local service provider to replace/fix a single tire and was assigned this location. I arrived on time for my scheduled appointment, walked in and was not met with greetings, I was met with "We are super busy do you have an appointment?" I indicated that I had an appointment and they said I wasn't in their system. I said that I made the appointment online using the Goodyear website. Reply: "We don't have anything to do with corporates website, you need to phone us directly for an appointment." Strange, nothing on corporates website indicated this and they did assign an appointment to this location, with text-based confirmation. If this is the case, it's between this location and corporate to clear up, not me as a customer. Then the two men at the front desk alternated and said they would look at the tire and give an assessment but no guarantee they could fit me in or fix it and why didn't I make an appointment? I was willing to wait or come back but I didn't understand what else they needed. I tried to keep an open mind but when one of them looked at me and said: "Didn't you look where you were driving, how do you get a bolt stuck in your tire anyway?" And laughed in my face, that was the line. Finally one of them said why didn't you call the warranty number, we don't do any warranty work direct only through the warranty line, pieces of the puzzle were clearer. I asked if they had the number and was met with "call the company you originally purchased the tires with and let them give it to you. We don't have that." I reiterated how I found them through the Goodyear website for repair/ replacement of a Goodyear tire, and that Goodyear was in their business name and they reiterated that they couldn't help me and why did I come here without calling the warranty line. I found out later that they could have looked it up, and when the warranty number customer service agent mentioned this, and that they could arrange the replacement for the tire through this location, they understood why I declined. Another local area tire company was able to order the tire that I needed, I phoned their number and was given exceptional service over the phone. They explained the process, next steps to getting my tire replaced, they would call when it was ready and they provided a number if I had any additional questions. Granted, I didn't know that I needed to call the Goodyear warranty number first to open a claim before showing up for the original appointment, but there's a nice way of telling me this and one that involves laughing at my expense more than once, and then saying "just messin with ya". Not interested in being messed with, thank you. Goodyear may be in their name but they must not be cozy with corporate because they don't know their warranty number, don't honor their booking system and are not prepared to relay policy information nicely. The Service Writers were very friendly and helpful. Quick to get to my problem and did not try to sell me anything I didn't need. Honest auto repair place with no hassle and great communication while they had my car in finding and repairing the problem. You can't ask for more from an auto repair shop!!! read more

Would never come back here, an old guy at the desk does not know what's he's doing him and barb were yelling back and forth and each other over how to order something for someone else the environment between the 2 yelling at each other was enough for me to tell them to get my car out of the garage. Claimed they could not fix my tire but after sitting there I don't think I'd trust them to even touch my car. Learn better management style, Barb yelling at the older guy at the desk was not helping and I would assume that's why he can't learn. I would not be able to learn with someone yelling at me the way she spoke to him. I could not wait to get out of there and I was only there for 35 mins. Went to Highway Auto in palm city, WAY MORE TRUSTWORTHY told me the tire was fixable with the manufacturer standards but ended up not even needing it patched it was a short nail that didn't even puncture my tire and good year wanted me to buy new tires instead. I brought my car for a tire rotation and oil change. When I was driving home you hear metal scrapping and the pan on the bottom was hanging on by minimal clips and bent in half. I had it zip tied at home to drive back for them to fix it. They told me the best practice is zip ties as they do not have any additional clips. The clips were there before I had the oil change and clearly not installed back properly. They told me they'll see if they have clips but they typically zip tie the tray back up under your car. I brought my car there will all the clips and left with zip ties hold up my pan under my car?! How ridiculous is that. No refund no help getting clips or going out of their way but the easy way of zip ties. Clearly the service there needs more training on how to properly reclip and secure under neath the car and customer service. I said I was disappointed and was assured zip ties are sufficient. At Goodyear Tires on US 1 now. They after checking other tire shops in my area I found the prices to be about the same. Elliottt at Goodyear was very nice had tires ordered and at shop in a few days & installed in less then 1 hr. He always told me about the free alignment check Goodyear does, which the other Goodyear in my area made it sound like they were doing me an extra favor. I do need an alignment on 3 tires. It's usually about $99 but they charged $74 because I purchased 2 tires. Great service & great people read more

Coming from a person that works in customer service, I can not say enough good things about this location. The staff are accommodating, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable! I've been there quite a few times in the past year and even though the prices are super reasonable, I'd seriously pay extra for service from this crew! Came here for a simple repair for a nail in my tire. The service representative didn't seem to want my business. Stated only one repairman available and four cars ahead of me; I could wait four hours or come back. When I indicated we would come he stated they did make appointments so it would be first come first served when I returned. So...you need to be able to get past the managers schmaltzy demeanor...so annoying, but most importantly, they did good work. They couldn't do the alignment because of damaged parts on my car, and they could have charged me and sent me on my way (I never would have known!)...but they did not. They explained why it couldn't be done and I walked out only paying for the tires...even though they spent a lot of time attempting the alignment before finding the damaged parts. Was quoted a price from the manager Elliot Ziegler. When I brought my car in, it was a different price. He said he talks to a lot of people and he couldn't remember. Very shady. Then when I called to see if maybe there was a misunderstanding, he freaked out and hung up. This is the manager? Way to diffuse the situation. read more

Lawrence and Alexander saved my wife and I from a real disaster. 200 miles from home, we experienced a flat tire on the Florida turnpike. I replaced the flat with my temporary spare, and quickly googled the nearest Goodyear tire center. It was 4:30pm on Saturday and they were the closest to where we were. They closed at 6pm and we were about 30-45 minutes away. We called the shop, and they assured us they could take care of us. When we got there, the tire was repaired and placed back on the car in a very quick timeframe. When I asked what I owed, I was told no charge. I couldn't believe it, but this shop doesn't charge to repair flats! Talk about great service. Both of the gentlemen were very friendly and helpful. We were back on our way in no time and safe. I highly recommend this shop and want to thank both of these guys for their help. We could have ended up much worse off, but thanks to them we made it home safe and sound. read more

Unbelievable. I get in my car this morning and noticed my rear driver tire completely flat. Upon searching for the nearest tire repair center, I head up to Tire Kingdom. Right before Tire Kingdom there is a Goodyear Auto Center that I had used about 9 years ago to replace the tires in my old SUV so I decided to stop there instead. They took me in right away, no line, and when the time came to pay they said "no charge". What??? I was confused. Most other places will charge anywhere from $10-$20. So the service attendant goes "No charge here. We do it as a courtesy to all our customers." I'll tell you one thing, next time I need new tires or an oil change, I'll be coming to Goodyear! read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE, CAN'T STRESS IT ENOUGH!!!!! I brought my car in for an oil change and had $80.00 stolen from a hidden compartment from my car! Then to top it off they damaged my oil pan to my car and tried to put the blame on another business. This place is very dishonest and does not own up to their mistakes which is not professional. The manger is also not professional!! I wish I could of given a zero star, they don't even deserve a 1 star! This is the first time I ever wrote a yelp review so that should say something about this place. Just want people to be aware so the same thing does not happen to them. read more
