Tires Plus Walton and US HWY 1

When my other mechanic is unavailable, this is our 2nd choice because I think they are pricey but do a great job. My mom just took her car there for regular maintenance oil change and didn't need any freon in the car. It was cooling just fine, so that saved her money

Its clear as day it doesn't take a pro to see this

Needed a bolt put into my wheel, I pulled up to the shop and they helped me right away. Great customer service and a great tire shop.

Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Oil change (13 qts) for my F250 diesel truck. They were very efficient: battery status-check,…read moreengine air filter- checked and replaced. Offered to check the transmission differentials. Asked about wipers. Showed me the final oil level on the dipstick when there had finished. They showed great cooperation and have winning process. Pricing was about as expected. I would recommend them for sure.

However, I could see through the small gap between the open hood and the top of my dashboard that they were putting a plastic hose down my dipstick tube. I said, "Wait, what are you doing? Are you sucking the oil out through the dipstick tube?" He said "Yes." I said, "No, I want you to remove the drain plug and do it properly". He replied, "We can't do that. It's our policy". I said, "Well, don't do it then and I'll just change it myself". He pulled the hose out of the dipstick tube, shut my hood, and said I was free to go. I left and started driving north on US-1 toward Fort Pierce. As I was driving, the low oil pressure light started to come on and off intermittently. I immediately knew the car was dangerously low on oil. I immediately pulled into Express Car Care near Edwards Rd by the railroad tracks and told him my story. When he drained my oil, he said only a HALF-QUART of oil came out! Valvoline Instant Oil Change SUCKED THE OIL OUT OF MY CAR AND LET ME DRIVE OFF. I went back to Valvoline Instant Oil Change when my oil change was completed at Express Car Care and asked them why they sucked the oil out of my car and let me leave. Of course they denied it. The technician eventually admitted that the machine was only on "for a minute". Apparently that's all it takes to remove the oil from a small engine that only holds 3.5 quarts. I called corporate headquarters and spoke with the area manager, who staunchly denied any wrongdoing and would not accept any responsibility. They denied removing any oil from the vehicle whatsoever. I maintain my vehicles diligently and know precisely how much oil I had before I arrived. I just checked it THAT MORNING. The facts are: (1) Oil level and oil pressure was FINE BEFORE ARRIVAL, regardless of what management claims to save face.. (2) They inserted a vacuum oil removal machine into the dipstick tube (3) I had low oil pressure warning upon departure. (4) Other mechanic found engine only had a half quart of oil and documented it. This is blatant incompetence and I want acknowledgement from them that if my vehicle develops any significant internal engine problems, that they are responsible but they refused. My vehicle only has 28,001 miles on it. I would recommend to never come here under any circumstances.

We visited today because the Kia dealer told us 3 months ago that we needed to get our brake pads replaced soon. Firestone inspected the breaks and found that they still had life left and didn't need to be replaced, they even showed my husband before putting the tires back on the car. Other businesses would have happily charged us for service we didn't need and we would have been none the wiser. I will continue to trust Firestone for our car maintenance needs and will see them soon for new tires.

Went for an oil change and needed a coolant flush. I should've checked the coolant reservoir before…read moreI left thd shop, but checked after I got home, a 20 min drive. The reservoir tank was completely empty and tube bone dry. I called right away, after being charged $139 plus $6 for the additional "8th quart" of coolant. The manager said, "the engine must have had a bubble." Acting like it was my engine that had the issue, however it could only have obtained this bubble with an improper flush. He then asked me to DRIVE BACK so they could add more fluid. Ummm, drive back with no coolant, no thank you! "Can't you blow an engine doing that?" I asked, in which the reply was, "no, absolutely not." Now I know they have NO IDEA what they're doing. Not only was my reservoir bone dry, but I had to add 2 quarts to the radiator! And he wanted me be drive back and possibly blow my engine. A proper solution would have been to credit part of the improper coolant flush AND the extra charge for the additional fluid that clearly was never added. (Not unless the Honda Pilot holds more than 11.2 quarts of coolant.) COMPLETE THEIFS! Oh, and don't bother with that bs "socialcare@bfrc.com from the owner". I tried that first, it's nothing.
