My husband and I have been using this place for all of our vehicles for over a decade. The staff is always professional and honest and we've never had a problem with the work. We visited today because the Kia dealer told us 3 months ago that we needed to get our brake pads replaced soon. Firestone inspected the breaks and found that they still had life left and didn't need to be replaced, they even showed my husband before putting the tires back on the car. Other businesses would have happily charged us for service we didn't need and we would have been none the wiser. I will continue to trust Firestone for our car maintenance needs and will see them soon for new tires. read more

Went for an oil change and needed a coolant flush. I should've checked the coolant reservoir before I left thd shop, but checked after I got home, a 20 min drive. The reservoir tank was completely empty and tube bone dry. I called right away, after being charged $139 plus $6 for the additional "8th quart" of coolant. The manager said, "the engine must have had a bubble." Acting like it was my engine that had the issue, however it could only have obtained this bubble with an improper flush. He then asked me to DRIVE BACK so they could add more fluid. Ummm, drive back with no coolant, no thank you! "Can't you blow an engine doing that?" I asked, in which the reply was, "no, absolutely not." Now I know they have NO IDEA what they're doing. Not only was my reservoir bone dry, but I had to add 2 quarts to the radiator! And he wanted me be drive back and possibly blow my engine. A proper solution would have been to credit part of the improper coolant flush AND the extra charge for the additional fluid that clearly was never added. (Not unless the Honda Pilot holds more than 11.2 quarts of coolant.) COMPLETE THEIFS! Oh, and don't bother with that bs "socialcare@bfrc.com from the owner". I tried that first, it's nothing. read more

A disturbing case of elder abuse!! I had been using this location for all my vehicles for the last five years. My 84-year-old mother always used her dealership, but I introduced her to the folks at Firestone in Jensen and felt that she would be in good hands. My mother experienced a thumping noise while driving and I inspected her tires and identified a small nail in the middle of her rear passenger tire. I suggested she go get a plug ($35), as her tires were in good shape. They sold my mother four new tires for over $950 when a $35 plug was all that was needed. When I went back to discuss it with them, an associate took me back to find her previous set of tires which were still in very good shape. The 'manager' asked how he could make it right but had no real ability to right the wrong, and attempted to cover up the crime by refusing to give us back her tires (which she was charged $5 per tire for recycling/disposal), instead throwing them back into the tire bin so they would be picked up and the evidence would be removed....very ironic, since the quote emblazoned on their wall from Harvey Firestone states, "fundamental honesty is the keystone of business." The Sheriff was called by Matt (the 'manager on duty'), who told the Deputy that I had assaulted him. Luckily, the other customers were there to offer up the truth. I am disgusted that this happened and that Matt refused to make things right. Firestone has lost my business for good and I no longer have any confidence in their brand and they should be ashamed of the bait and switch they pulled on my elderly mother. read more

Not quite impressed. Came here because this location is closer but think I should have went somewhere else. Had an appointment got here 30mins earlier and truck still sat for over an hour before they worked on it. Only complaint is the wait... read more

my car unfortunately had to be towed in on a Sunday as every other shop was closed and so they let me know it would be the next day that they would look it over and see what was wrong with the vehicle. next day comes around and they call and tell me they need to replace the coolant bypass valve and but that it had to be ordered directly from the manufacturer and then recommended that my car have a tuneup as it was coming up to 100,000 I let them know id have to bring it back for tuneup servicing as I wasn't expecting to be told they needed to be paid over $1300 that day for servicing and they proceeded to hang up. I had someone else call back and ask what else needed to be done as they had just hung up on me and they told them it was just the bypass valve that was urgent but eventually the water pump would need to be replaced but it would be fine for now. Well after picking it up from that servicing it ran for about a week until my car went back into the same engine failure and had to be towed back in. When I called the manager Matthew insisted the car be brought back to their location as their advisor may have done something incorrectly or misdiagnosed it the first time. Well it was brought back with a $120 tow bill to follow. The next day they called and started explaining things in a manner I didn't understand so I had the same person that spoke to them for me previously call back once again and find out what was going on. When I went back that evening they told me the part once again had to be ordered from the manufacturer so I gave approval. I also asked to speak the advisor that was working on my car to get a better understanding and he refused and said to talk to whoever called them before and get the information from them. Three days later they call me and tell me they are refusing to do anymore servicing on my car and are demanding it be towed to the dealership. read more

Purchased my set of tires here for my 2011 Mitsubishi eclipse. Since then, my vehicle started shaking tremendously, and I brought it immediately to them. Told them what the problem was and they gave me a recommendation to replace parts on my front end. Nothing to do with the tire at that time. I went to a place closer to my home that I have my jeep 2021 maintenance at. I decided to call them they said bring over the car. After looking at it for about 15 minutes and physically taking the wheel off, you could see the problem of the tire. They called it. The retention belt lost its integrity. I told them I bought the set up fire stone less than a year ago. They told me to take it back and they would most likely replace it if not all four tires. I then took it back and they gave me paperwork stating I needed new struts, CV joints and a few other items on my front end. Again nothing about the tire. I even called the other mechanic and had them emailed to Firestone. What they had found. They didn't even look at the email because no one got on a computer. After leaving there with the $3000 replacement part recommendation from Firestone I had to go back to the other mechanic, they ordered the tire, ironically from Firestone and put it on The next day. I still have the tire we have reached out several times to this location as well as the Stuart and unfortunately no resolution. We even made an appointment for today Saturday and when we got there, the manager had never been scheduled for that day. Keep getting told I'll get a call back but at this point, I'm just gonna reach out to the escalation department at Firestone. Please please take your car somewhere else. I wish I went to, but with respect to them in case they have any relationship with Firestone, I will respect that and not post it. I would love Firestone to reach out to me and at least take responsibility for the one tire. It's even on my Firestone card as soon as I pay it off I will be cutting it up and never ever ever ever ever ever ever going back. So disappointed in the staff, relationships, and integrity of the people. It just sickens me. Take your car somewhere else. read more

Great staff, price, & work & appointment scheduling. Pleasant wait area. Replaced my 2014 Camaro back light housing.

I made an appointment and the car sat for over an hour before they got started. Didn't communicate with me at all about the delay. Plenty of guys around tucking it up and drinking their drinks. read more

I was able to schedule an appointment online for a service needed. I also had a noise coming from my car that they were able to check out and find a solution for. Fixed it that day. They had to do many things in one day and got it done. I trusted the mechanic. read more

Any place that can not replace a lug nut and then lie about it and blame the customer should do the community a favor and close.

Had a flat one day, but needed all 4 replaced anyways. The entire team was very nice and honest on their work. All 4 tires, brake rotors and alignment done in a fast timeframe. I was having heavy pulsing when braking at higher speeds, they checked and stated all the pads looked great so it may be the rotors, we replaced the fronts and it fixed it! Would 100% recommend. read more

Had appointment at 8am. They did not put car in until 9:30 and did not get car done until 2 :30 pm. Did not call. Did not reset oil change light. Did not check tire pressure. Supposed to do brakes. Made up excuse the could no get rotors. They are for a ford ranger. All parts stores have them. Just excuses. Will never go back. read more

My tires got slashed and they left my car in the parking lot over night and it was unlocked ! Why would they leave it with the rims on the pavement and unlocked when it was vandalized? read more

No seating outside during Covid. so I was going to wait inside but FOX news playing and man behind the counter shouts yeah Clinton had sex in the White House. I really do not need to have a business where I think manager shouts out their politics. I asked Larry is Fox always playing and he rolled his eyes... TV I thought was for people waiting? Not for staff. read more

So here we go... the staff was nice and welcoming and everything ... but actually being knowledgable and helpful they get an F. I had a car that wouldn't start (it wasn't the battery).. and when I brought it in, the said they would run diagnostics and see what was actually wrong. Flash forward a few hours later they said it was a faulty starter and it needed to be replaced (mind you this car is only a couple years old) and it would cost me 400 buckos. I said to go ahead with it because I didn't know what else to do and needed a car ASAP. then flash forward another couple hours they call me and say the car still isn't starting, even with the new starter and asked me if I ever used a spare key or had someone recently replaced a battery (like that would really Make a difference) because now the car is in theft mode. Long story short they said "here's the non working car with a brand new starter (that it didn't need) , that'll be 400 bucks". I had to actually tell them to replace the old starter and give me my car back as is because they don't know what the EFF they're doing and I'm not paying that kinda money to have my car in the same condition. I took it to the dealership I bought the car (which is what I should've done in the first place) and they fixed it... it was the engine control module. Now whether or not firestone was able to figure that out or not is beside the point. They intentionally tried to rip me off.... they really replaced the starter not knowing if that was the actual problem and wanted to charge me for it. Great going guys. Please don't take your cars here. This is the reason why I hate mechanics. read more

I wish i had a better experience here because the location is very close to my house. Last night I made a reservation online to have two tires replaced at this location this morning. This morning I arrived and was told the tires I reserved last night were not available but another comparable tire was. I agreed and I was told the installation would take 60-90 minutes. 50 minutes later my name was called and I was told the tires I had just agreed to purchase were also not in stock and had to be ordered. Neither the corporate website nor the in-store system knew the inventory available. I won't be back. read more

Extremely poor communication. My vehicle was on the lift for over 5 hours while i waited. Turns out they ordered the wrong part without telling me. When i asked Vince (store mgr) about it he said i didnt need that part and was going to button it back up. So i asked, why were you selling me a part I didn't need? Crappy experience. Waited over 5 hours for a 2 hour repair. Never did the manager offer me an explanation, he just let me sit there with no updates. Steer clear of Firestone on NW Federal Highway. read more

I'm visiting with my family from out of town. Blew a tire and ended up needing 4 new ones. Randall was helpful and friendly, did not try to upsell me or push additional products. Would recommend to a friend. read more

Usually I do not take my car to chain store mechanics due to the fact they are expensive and they try to sell you things that are not need. However this store is the completd opposite, the service manager and writer are extremely friendly and they know what they are doing. I tool my car in for a alignment and tire rotation and that's what I got. They did not try to upsell me on anything which I greatly appreciate because I have a newer car. I would highly recommended this shop if you need your car worked on read more

This place rocks!!!! Awesome work at reasonable prices!!! Been using them for 12 years

Greeted very professional did a good job with my concerns give me a decent deal on a set of tires and alignment very friendly people

All staff is very welcoming and friendly, however I realized that they charge more than any other repair shop. I had an $800 job done that another repair shop quoted 400$ after the fact. They were friendly enough to bring the price down to 580$ after I showed them the other shops quote. They also quoted me 185$ for a new battery that tires plus quoted 114$ for the exact same one. I probably won't be back. read more

I had my starter replace at firestone in Jenson Beach I couldn't believe the bill 258.00 for a no name starter plus 121.00 to install it. Hey I have no problems with labor. But give me a break 258.00 dolars for a no name part that I can buy online at auto rock .com for 59.00 dollars, that's out of line even the service manager couldn't look me in the eye.
