Sean is very knowledgeable in VW repairs with very fair prices. I recommend him to anyone seeking help with repair of a foreign vehicle.

I don't live very close to Umberto's shop but thought I would take the ride to Jensen Beach to check them out. Upon my arrival I notice that the shop was rather small but that was not an issue for me (nor should it be for you). Umberto happened to be outside speaking with another customer and his parking lot was filled with mostly Mercedes vehicles and a few BMW's. That told me I was in the right spot. Humberto came over to me right away and commented on how beautiful my car was and how could he help. I told him I was looking for a home to bring this car to for all services and repairs. I said I was interested in a oil and filter change. He popped the hood and at first glanced noticed that my coolant was discolored and not in very good shape for the car. I made an appointment and had both taken care of with top quality "IMPORTED" parts and fluids. Since I had just purchased the car a month prior, both he and his son Javier inspected it top to bottom and commented on what a great vehicle it is and how good shape its in. He showed me that the control arm bushings were wearing but not in need of repair at the moment but I should keep mind of it and bring it in when I notice a change in the suspension. I asked for an estimate and was very satisfied with it. I will return to have it done when needed. The service they performed today went as perfectly as one could and I got to know both of them. Great people! honest, knowledgeable and reasonable. I would not trust anyone else to work on my Mercedes. If you need work done on your Mercedes, BMW, or any other...Go see Humberto and Javier! You won't be disappointed!

I left my car with these guys for 3 months to replace my radiator, change out hoses, replace a…read moreclutch pin, change out fluids, perform a tune-up with new plugs, timing, and a carburetor rebuild (per Ron). $8000 worth of work at $140 per hour. Following completion of work my buddy collected the car and had it transported to me in Franklin, TN. First drive produced sputtering, black smoke, high idling, and poor gas mileage. In addition there was a tear in a newly upolstered driver's seat, permanently creased plastic windows on my new top from being left down in the wrong position for 3 months, and a missing cap on a directional. Shaun answered the phone and told me all mechanical issues were due to a 600 foot elevation change (happens around 8000 ft, not 600 ft) and that even after an $8000 repair job they don't have time to test drive the vehicles after service (must be done after a carb rebuild), and that they were not taking any responsibility for damages to the vehicle. It gets better. After inspecting the vehicle, the plugs were all gapped differently and incorrectly for my 1976 Triumph TR6. The carburetors had never been rebuilt, and the points were not gapped correctly. Also, the rocker cover could not be freed up and could not possibly have been removed to reset the valves. Ron called me back about my concerns and tried to blame my buddy for not using the choke correctly, thus undoing all not his work. I explained that my buddy collected vintage cars which all have to be started with a manual choke, so that excuse wasn't valid. I explained it had only been driven 30 miles. I then told him I checked the plugs myself which appeared to be very old ( I supplied new plugs) and that none were gapped correctly. He had no explanation other than Shaun had worked on this side of the engine. When I questioned Shaun's reason for the poor engine performance he again blamed the driver. Then I told him I sent pics of the carbs to a TR6 forum and took the car to someone familiar with Stromberg carbs. When he heard that someone else looked at the carbs he then admitted he had never rebuilt the carbs, which he billed me for 8 hours at $140 an hour plus a $200 rebuild kit. Claimed he forgot to remove the charges. He had personally called me to collect this particular charge before releasing the car, so how would he forget to remove the charge? Wait, it gets better. He offered to refund me 50% of the charges on the carb rebuild, not 100%. I asked why he would keep half of the charges on work never performed and suddenly I was offered the full $1300 refund. He wasn't even going to admit that he had not done the work until I told him another professional told me the work was never done. Is this an honest person making an innocent billing error. Based on the valves not being adjusted, plugs looking old and not gapped correctly, and the points wide open (yes, I could have done my own work but didn't have the time), it is obvious I was being taken for a ride since they knew I wouldn't be there to inspect the car before it was shipped to me in Tennessee. Pretty sure they figured I knew nothing about cars. I was not refunded for the other work that was obviously never done. The only reason I have not called the police and reported fraud is that I am not going back to Stuart, Florida again. Ron and Shaun shouldn't be trusted. I just sold my practice, Lively Orthodontics after 30 years of business in this town. Anyone that knows me in Stuart knows that honesty, integrity, and quality were the cornerstones of our business. I am appalled that any business would try to get away with charging for work never done. Buyer beware.

After nearly 2k and numerous cancellations, no shows and a lot of frustration and two months, I was left with some wires pulled through the firewall. He asked me to order parts which I did. They were all wrong: Pitman arm and ignition module had to be bought again because they were incorrect parts. The first day he arrived his truck leaked a lot of oil all over my driveway and I spent an hour cleaning it. Unfortunately a total waste of time and money. I don't think he's dishonest, I just think he's inept. After review of his response I have made additions: see fotos and the dates in the screenshots. This response was totally unacceptable and to blame me for this lack of professionalism is just plain wrong! See the dates and fotos. This truck is a 140k truck with some needs to I wanted addressed. It needs a few parts like you'll see in the chat! This wasn't a customer scorned. I just wanted my truck fixed !!! This of you that have been scammed and strung along by a mechanic will understand!!!! See the screenshot with cancellations and change dates. This was chronic cancellations and changes. I missed work one day. In fact, I even gave him my code to the garage to accommodate him. But, too much is too much. I couldn't justify paying him for constantly uncertainty. I can do this all day. Let me start by the metadata claim.... These are screen shots take the day of this posting genius....look at the dates in the chat. The parts you said I choose cheaper parts of lower quality ... see the new screen shots where you told me to purchase the specific parts and I did. You have disgraced yourself and lied and it's here in black and white with your chat. Also, pay attention to the dates that you told me to purchase and my response was I got them. You say you had no role which parts I purchased which is an absolute falsehood! It's in black and white. I have the chats here that you directed me to purchase certain items and I did! Highly customized? It's a totally stock 302 Ford Motor. The truck is a complete original and stock. The claim about a Latin America Truck is laughable. Is he a mechanic or a comedian? It was manufactured in the USA for Latin America and Canada. Know why? It has a speedometer in KM and hour. Yah the speedometer is in metric KM. Any novice can see that in the foto. My gosh! As for your cancellations and late shows. Look at 1 of numerous screen shots where you cancelled after I waited all day. In fact, I had to text you and ask "guess you're not showing?" I believe that was the day I didn't go to work and waited all day for you. Another falsehood that you claim all cancellations were done in Advance. See it in the screenshot You're deceit and lack of candor this will only make you look even more unprofessional. Keep editing, I'll keep posting the truth. I'm awaiting for an apology. BTW - having a couple friends make 5 star reviews the day I call you out isn't fooling anyone. They can see the dates and the lack of activity on their accounts. You had 2, 5 star ratings and nothing ore when I hired you... should have been the red flag to stay away. Now you have several with no depth and 3 of them posted within a couple hours of each other yesterday .
