Worst experience I have ever had with a car repair shop! There invoice was ridiculous. No definitive price for an oil change, no type of oil (manufacturer or viscosity) was indicated. The special for the month I was there was the $149.95 "diagnostic charge" would be waived if they did the repair. They did the repair but still charged me the $149.95 diagnostic charge! which I had already had done at no charge. Don't trust these people with your vehicle. Law requires a written estimate over a certain amount, they obviously don't do that because most people would look elsewhere to have the work done when they see the estimate. Owner needs to serious rethink its policies and procedures and maybe consider hiring a new manager at this location. I wrote a letter to the owner/president and he had the owner reach out to me but he was absolutely no help. They charged me for something ($ 149.95 diagnostic fee) that clearly should not have been charged. The owner should have followed up with me since I took the time to write a detailed letter outlining my poor experience but he obviously doesn't care about his customers. Please read the negative reviews, they are definitely more accurate than the higher ratings which most likely fake. Lots of BS sales language like "your investment today of only" is absurd. Check engine light came on. They ran a diagnostic test and the code was for coolant. They replaced the radiator. Everyone was very polite. Before releasing the car they said they would do a safety test. Why not do that up front and save a days time? I was told rear caliper needs replacing and they can't do one. So rear brakes and calipers replaced. Paid $2900. Next day the check engine light comes back on after business hours. Next day I call the shop and the light is out. I'm told perhaps a bubble worked through the system. I drive around and am pleased until I park the car and the check engine light comes on again. When I try to leave the car won't start and the dash board is all light up. They had my car three days, ran diagnostics on it and safely checks. They charged me $2900 and didn't resolve the issue. I really feel I was taken advantage of and they were just going to keep finding things to charge me for. They're really pleasant people who know how to earn your trust and just keep charging you. The most welcoming helpful repair shop I have ever visited. I had to have a new tire put on my vehicle. They called when the tire arrived. I drove over and less than 40 minutes later I was on my way. Prior to the tire replacement they attempted to repair the old tire but it was a continental which we had already plugged. They were willing to try to patchit for us, but after some discussion we decided it might not be safe to drive on if patched. These type of tires have a foam core which makes it tricky to repair. They did not charge for the time they spent on analyzing the problem and only charged for the tire replacement. Very reasonable. read more

Really, come on! Not only did they overcharge me on the parts by approximately 30 percent from OTC prices, but tried to upsell me on a battery that I didn't need! I'm retired and living in Tequesta. I recently had two unfortunate incidents: First, my car broke down just off Tequesta Dr. Second, I was towed to All County automotive on old Cypress Rd in Tequesta. I chose All County because I like to support local businesses and it's an approved by AAA for auto repair. Upon entering the business, I was greeted at the counter by Aedin. I explained the situation and he said he would be happy to help, that they would have to do a diagnostic test on the car and that would cost $173.00. I thought that was odd but did not have a choice but to go forward with this. I was at his mercy. I got a call a little later and he said the battery was dead, and they would put in a new one. I asked if I still had to pay the diagnostic? He said "I have to take care of my guys". All along he keep saying "we are very honest here, we always tell the truth". So, they put in a new battery and the alternator started smoking and somehow the new battery had to be replaced. (It has been suggested to me that the battery could have been put in wrong?) He called after the battery was installed and asked "was I having problems with the car beforehand"? I said no. He then calls me later and says that I need a new alternator and along with the wire that runs between the alternator and the battery. He said it would cost me an astonishing $2200 to fix the car! Three hours for the labor on the alternator and three hours of labor to replace the wire and $400.00 for parts. After talking to two life long professional mechanics, they said they have never had to replace that wire. So, I called him back and said I would tow it somewhere else. I asked if he would take out the new battery and he said would cost more in labor to just take it out versus just leaving it in. Really? I then asked how much to take car away? He says $400.00, after giving me a new customer discount and not charging me the diagnostic charge, which somehow during the process changed to $149.00. It was $300.00 for labor to put in and take out a battery and $100.00 for the battery? I took it to another mechanic. To replace the alternator and put in an alternator electrical connector cost me less than $900.00 and not the $2200.00 as quoted by Aedin! In addition, the wire from alternator to battery did not have to be replaced, saving on unnecessary labor charges and parts. Now, I have no idea where some of the positive reviews came from. They say they are very courteous and try to make you feel welcome, however, this was the worse experience I have had from any auto shop! Customers and neighbors beware; they may smile and say there're honest, but they are far from it. They are not there to help you, but simply try to steal as much cash from you has they can. There are too many good and honest mechanics in the area to choose from, certainly not All County Automotive!! read more

Last review I only gave them 1 star mostly because they wanted charge full price of a new alternator for a refurbished alternator with a warranty only over by them. I understand it's like new but I dont pay new prices on like new parts. Decided to give them another chance on more common maintenance and they've been good to me with great prices. Had a great experience recently with All County Auto Repair. They replaced my brakes pads and rotors, oil change, air filter, tire rotation and a few other things. Price was fair and they did a full inspection with pictures of everything that they suggested we needed to do so I could decide if I wanted to do the work. The pictures were texted to me. Then we had a call to discuss the scope of work. My car went in and was ready 5 hours later and I didn't even have an appointment! Overall very pleased, guys were courteous and I even received a card in the mail today thanking me for choosing them. read more

The most important thing you need to know about this place. They are AAA Certified Technicians. That means they will provide excellent quality and service guaranteed PLUS a 3 year/ 30,000 mile warranty on all service (if you're a AAA member). I came here from another shop that felt it had a right to market their shop on my car and push hard to convince me I needed to pay $2,800 for a new motor on a 2009 Honda with 110k miles. Right... The issue was due to a broken starter. In addition to that, the battery was nearly drained from the previous shop, so we replaced that. Also, I was coming due on an oil change so that was handled too. Parts and labor for all out the door was under $700. These guys saved me over $2,000 from being ripped off at a different shop!!! Thomas and Eric are outstanding gentlemen who definitely take the time to listen without interrupting you, provide plenty of information, and answer all questions you might have. I also met Steve, who I believe its the owner although he never boasted about it which is refreshing to see. They also communicated effectively to provide updates when the car was ready or needed to work on specific services. Keep up the great quality! read more

On two occasions I've had them direct me to a different place if they thought I may save money there. I sent my wife over when she got a screw in her tire. I knew that whatever they recommended she do was an honest assessment. Turns out we needed a new tire due to the location of the screw. I felt totally confident that that was exactly what was necessary, and happily took their advice. My wife came back to tell me how friendly and caring everyone she met there was. The morning I was traveling from Jupiter to Clemson, I discovered a nail in my tire. I searched for the closest tire repair and All County Automotive came up. I called thinking that it would be impossible to get in last minute and knowing that my trip could be very delayed. To my surprise, they told me to bring my car in at that time and they would take care of it immediately. I've always been told you can get good or you can get cheap but you can't get both. Unfortunately, I have a car that has required considerable work and I was fortunate enough to be directed to Matt and Thomas at All County. Most of the time when the car has required work, I waited for it to be completed. This afforded me an opportunity to observe their professionalism. They have exceptional people skills that they display both on the phone and face to face with their customers. I would recommend that any professional who deals with the public spend an hour in their waiting area. I guarantee they will learn more than a sales or psychology class will offer. While my problems have been cared for by their crew in a timely manner, their charges were quite fair. At no time have I felt advantage was taken of me. Problems were correctly diagnosed and repairs were made. They could not have been more accommodating in working with my schedule. There were a few other items I also noticed in my visits. The floor in the shop was clean and not covered in grease and oil as in many garages. Additionally, the restroom was cleaner than most restaurants which was very unusual in such a business. If you take care of the little things, I believe you probably take care of the big items. I would whole heartedly recommend All County for your automotive needs. A word of caution when dealing with All County Automotive repair. I believe the sales people I work on commission. They will treat you very nice you will feel like you're being well taken care of but they will rip you off. As an example, I took my vehicle there for a break job. They estimated the brake service to be $1000. I then took my Toyota forerunner to Toyota and Stuart. The final cost for a full service brake job was $400. I was absolutely shocked by the fact that they would try to take advantage of me and I believe other customers. I wanted to use a local service in Tequesta and had it been only $50 difference or so I would've understood. That's 600 Dollars Was Way over-the-top. I definitely would NEVER return to this place or recommend it to anyone! I saw all of the positive reviews online and decided to take my car here when it over heated. They tried to charge me 800 dollars for this problem and said I need other work also that ended up totaling to over 1300 dollars. This seemed extremely high to me so I called around to 4 other mechanics in the area, they each quoted me between 300 and 500 dollars. I called back and told them I would be taking my car somewhere else since the price they were trying to charge me to fix this problem was just not even reasonable. To be honest I felt like they were trying to take advantage of me and I politely told them I wasn't comfortable having them work on my car. I went to pick my car up and they told me they were going to charge me a 50 dollar inspection fee. I told them I didn't feel comfortable paying that because I was never informed that there would be an inspection fee when I dropped it off, or when I spoke to them on the phone multiple times. The cashier was nice and said he would get his boss to speak to me about this. When the boss came out and I explained this to him he became very hostile and extremely rude to me. I had every intention of getting my car fixed here but when they quoted me that outrageous price and I decided against it they way they treated me was awful.
