I went in the other day and saw an Apple keyboard the type that had batteries. It wasn't that old a model. I tried several ways to open it. I finally realized I needed a regular screwdriver to open it. The batteries can get corroded so , if not I wasn't interested. I finally asked an employee to take it in the back and to please have them open it for me. She brought it back unopened and told me that it had batteries in it when I got it open. I wish I'd asked them to bring me a screwdriver. Maybe I could have gotten it open. Oh, well. read more

I found a set of four pot holders but they were too big to put on the cart while shopping so I put them with the cashier and I told her I would purchase them after I was done shopping and she said okay, next thing you know when I was time to pay they were GONE and she said some lady took them. I popped in here to get some baskets for gift baskets that I'm creating (the best place to buy them!!) and walked out with two that were exactly what I was looking for. Two baskets were under $6 total. This store is very clean and organized and the staff members working were super friendly. I was also hoping to find some cool vintage vases for my Easter table but didn't see what I was looking for this time around. They did have pretty vintage crystal wine and water glasses, though! As well as crystal platters, etc. I will be back for a future basket run! read more

Cleanest Goodwill I have ever visited. Public restrooms that aren't locked, are clean and well stocked with TP etc. Great selection of merchandise. Accidentally left a few items we had purchased in our cart. Returned the following AM and our items were turned in and with the manager! Restored our faith in humanity. read more

This Goodwill is extremely expensive. Don't bother coming, it's a waste of your time. For instance, a small saucer was $3.49. A very old Kenmore sewing machine was $249. I can get a brand new Singer heavy duty for $169 on Amazon. They think because they are located in an expensive neighborhood they can get more money. Well, I don't like being taken advantage of. And everything in there was given to them. It was FREE; they didn't buy it. It was given by people like ME. I will be going out of my way to find other places to donate. $2.99 for USED candles. If you watch the sales, you can get a new one for that. A child's clay art project of a dinosaur or dragon. I don't remember the price. First question is who the hell donates this crap? Second is who the hell puts it on display with a price on it? I have always told my kids, don't donate things you wouldn't use or wear yourself.
