The store is very organized and has daily sales. When you first walk in look on the front racks to see the daily specials. There are two colors each day that are marked down half price. There is also a senior day on Tuesdays where you will receive a good discount. You will see the typical items. The women's clothing is separated by sleeveless, t shirts, blouses, short sleeve, long sleeve, knit, sweaters, jackets, athletic, skirts, pants, maternity, pj's & shorts. There are lots of purses, shoes, jewelry, sunglasses, and everything else you might need. Self check out where a staff member is usually present to help you in the event there's an issue. Overpriced, by a lot! I walked in and couldn't believe the cost of things. I was on the hunt for coffee table books and some other things and I noticed the price of clothes were SO expensive. If I can buy jeans for my daughter new at target for $10 why would I pay the same price for them at savers? I did find a couple books - still a little overpriced in my mind and I came home with two glass tea light bunnies that were $4 a piece with the melted candles still in them. Overall, it's nice to stop in but I'd probably do my thrifting somewhere else. read more

Stopped in here while we were in the area to see if we'd find any unique Southwestern decor items. No luck there but I scored a beautiful books about oysters complete with oyster recipes for a mere $1.74. Apparently there was a 50% off promotion the day we visited. Easy self checkout but there were serious lines. Store was pretty well organized and I liked how they separated the decor not just into seasonal but by the specific holiday: Halloween, Christmas, etc. Cookbook selection was pretty decent. You never know what you might find, so why not check it out? read more

I'll be honest it's been awhile since I've gone thrift shopped. Walking in I have to admit I was surprised at how clean and organized the store was. My last to a Savers visit was in Albuquerque and that store was a mess. It was chaotic how unorganized and messy the store was not to mention how busy it was. I believe that is why I hadn't returned to a Savers since. I found the Scottsdale location to be a pleasant experience. They had a wide selection of items at a reasonable price. This Saver's location is big and well-lit. Parking is plentiful. Shelves/racks were more organized than a Ross Dress for Less store. It smelled really gross when you walk in, like a poopy baby diaper. Employees kept to themselves. The ones stocking the floors, the ones gathered near the front having a mini meeting, and the ones near the cashier stand in training. No one greets you, now I notice a difference with other thrift stores that do. Prices are very high for second-hand goods. Higher than shopping on eBay and higher than buying the item for new retail. Items are donated, so the COGS (cost of goods) are all profit. Greedy over pricing. A long time ago, it was fun to go thrifting...you could find cool things for cheap. Those days are gone. read more

The store was quite busy. Items were placed in areas with signage. The thing I could not believe was how the children's toy area was destroyed. There were children unsupervised and pouring out game pieces into the floor and going to the next box. Parents should NOT let their children make such a mess in a store. When it comes to thrift stores, this one is my fall-back. The one I can always count on. When my partner needs some nice shirts or pants, he can always find something here. When I want a nice dress, this is chock full of choices! My most recent trip: We spent about two hours, but we found a pristine men's blazer, work pants, two kids long sleeve shirts new with tags, gorgeous sparkling evening gown, red women's coat, high end hiking shoes, adult and kid matching skeleton costumes, and a perfectly fitting Wednesday Addams dress. That's not even everything we got, but you get the picture. I love to dig through the racks and find a new bizarre shirt or a simple capri work pant. The thing you have to get used to is the pricing. This is not always the cheapest thrift store, but I still find that it's worth it, especially if you find the right color tags. So keep an eye out for the half-off color when you search through. Oh, and bring a reuseable bag! They do not bag your items, so you can either pile your haul up in your arms when you leave or you can buy a bag there. read more

I first discovered Savers in Vegas when I went to visit my son. The Vegas stores were outstanding. The Scottsdale location was not as well stocked with gems. May have just been the day I was there (a Friday). Mondays are always 50% off which is a bonus if I didn't work on Mondays lol. I will definitely be going back there soon. read more

I was at this thrift store in 2019 and it was incredibly hard to find an item that was $30+! REAL LEATHER, MAYBE. But DRESSES?!? I'm next to a rack of vintage dresses that are $30+ ALL OF THEM. My girlfriend & I were visiting the local area and decided on a Thrift Store shopping day. As we entered the store, we were in awe at the vast, clean, and well organized thrift store! For us, it was a FABULOUS shopping day as we found so many items that were "just right" for us. The prices are a bit higher than other thrift stores; however, to our good fortune we had gone on a Monday when the tag prices were 50% off! The day we went it was a holiday so the store was extra busy; yet the checkout lines went quickly and the staff was super friendly! Absolutely fabulous! This store is really big, very organized, and unlike Goodwill during Covid who won't have anymore 50% off every other Saturdays, this store has 50% off everything every Monday. It was crowded on Monday! But the reason why I am giving this store only 3 stars, is their prices are really high, a lot of it more than you'd pay retail ! I can go to Goodwill every other Sat at 50% off, but I would not come to Savers on Mondays for their 50% off, because, as I told another customer, it isn't even worth it at 50%. I find some items NEW in retail stores, for less than Savers 50% off. Customer fully agreed, said she told her friend who was donating stuff top this store, before she donates stuff, come into the store and see how they gouge people, and mark her donations up to yazhoooo. I always thought Savers was a for profit store. I see the sign Big Brothers outside at donation area, but I don't know who they are. I found a few electronic wires and doo dads at 50% off, for probably less than what I would pay new. Like hands-free cordless phone headset priced at $5.99, so $3. at 50% off. I know they are new for at least $15. Also found cabinet handles 20 for $5 ($10) Another reason why I am only giving 3 stars, is their return policy is not as generous as Goodwills, which is credit for most everything in 7 days. Savers only allows credit within 14 days for clothing only, everything else is as is, no credit, no returns. I did find an AC adapter on the wall of many orphaned electrical cords and cables, for my massage pillow, that needed to be 5 volts, 500mA, stamped on it. A friend of mine likes to point out that Savers, as opposed to Goodwill, is a "for profit" business. No matter, I love them both. Like Goodwill, I come here most for the books. The knick-knacks, and all of the other "stuff" is fun to go through and seems to be of very high quality. When the Ulitmate Electronics closed a few years ago, I was surprised that Savers wanted the space. But in the end, I guess it was a matter of location, location, location as they say. Savers also has a frequent buyer's card and discounts for seniors on Wednesdays. If you sign up, they will email you when they are having sales. Nice! read more

Wow, this is a pretty fancy thrift store! Go figure, since it's in North Scottsdale. It's very spacious, with a lot of variety, and everything is very well-organized. If you get past the sweaty clothes smell when you enter (The rest of the store smells a lot better!), you can find a lot of good bargains for very high quality items. There are various household items such as nice silk floral arrangements and foliage, cooking supplies, espresso machines, and automatic pet feeders. As for fashion items, when I went they had Gucci glasses cases, Coach and Dooney and Burke handbags, Jimmy Choo handbags, and a large selection of women's, men's, and children's clothes and shoes. Clothing and shoe designers included J.Crew, Banana Republic, and Coach. Prices are equal to or cheaper than prices at Goodwill. I found some very nice, high thread count pillowcases for $.99 each. The high-end designer wares and electronics (Such as cameras, and a Sony E-Reader when I looked) will be in a glass case. Check out was easy, and I like their summer punch card/stamp system (You get a stamp for every $5 you spend, and once you fill the card you get 30% off your next purchase). This is the cleanest thrift store I've been to! I came here for the first time yesterday. The store itself is very large, with half the store being home decor and furniture, and the other half clothes/shoes. Every aisle is organized very well. They also have a large section dedicated just to books (categorized accordingly) and old music records. I feel the prices are a little too high than what would be expected (in comparison to Goodwill) -- hence the 4/5 rating. However, they carry higher quality pieces and do a good job weeding out the broken/low quality items. When I was there the Monday after Christmas, everything was 50% off, which was a great deal! They also have senior discounts every Tuesday. I would call them ahead of time to see what their upcoming sales are. Overall, I would come back again! read more

It's at a nearby retail store for less....and new! A medium crystal vase with a huge chip was marked 17.99. A men's camp shirt 14.99. I can get a new one at kohls for less with a coupon. My first trip to this Savers was on a Monday during their weekly 50% off sale. It was pretty crowded! However! Compared to Goodwill, the inventory seemed more plentiful, more clean and they had way more employees helping out so the crowd didn't take over. They have an excellent toy area that is pretty clean and very stocked, which was great for my toddler My cashier was friendly & quick. You get a 20% off coupon for spending more than $30. My only complaint was some of their prices were high to seemingly compensate for their weekly 50% off sale. Most jackets were $10-$20 etc. read more

I've been to this Saver's twice now. The first time I came in search for an "ugly" holiday sweater for work. While there were plenty of ugly sweaters, they weren't exactly what I was looking for. Instead, I opted to make my own and purchased two red sweaters (one for me and one for my husband) for under $6. This was a great find and price! I feel like all the clothing is decently priced and they have a good selection. I also like how it is organized by shirt type, which is really helpful! On my most recent trip, I needed a checkered/flannel type shirt for an upcoming event. Again, there were plenty to choose from! I finally found one by Guess for $8. Another great find! I love Savers, however today I had an interesting experience. I can read, and generally do a fairly good job. I received a coupon via e mail from Savers about a sale. It said 50% off. My friend, from out of town and I went shopping, thinking we were getting 50% off. Well, upon checking out and putting in the coupon it only took off $5.00. After checking out the "fine print" we learned the 50% off was only up to $5.00!!!! Seriously, $5.00. We spent over $100.00 and couldn't believe it when we checked out. Oh, Savers... I love that you're cheap..but I didn't realize you are really really cheap. I bought a new costume for half the price you would pay at other retail stores, but I didn't realize the reason why it's so cheap is because the material is cheap that you can only wear the costume one or two times before tossing it. Some of the little details of the costume was made out of paper or doilies and it practically ripped as I tried on the costume. I hope that I can make due on Halloween.
