We have passed by Thrift to Thrive many times and always remarked that we needed to stop in one…read moreday. The day finally came last weekend, but we left feeling somewhat disappointed! I was initially taken aback by the entry of the shop. They had a coffee shop and a large sitting area. I also saw stairs, so I assumed this would be a multi-level thrifting experience. We moseyed around the area just past the coffee shop and found lots and lots of glassware. Dare I say too much glassware? The linens and trinkets sections were disheveled with a handful of visibly broken items sitting on the shelves. The main area of the shop was more visually pleasing and was a bit more organized, but we remained underwhelmed. The biggest disappointment, however, was that the upstairs was restricted to employee access only. We were so disappointed that there weren't more thrifty treasures to be uncovered. The exterior of this shop was deceiving as we thought it would be massive, but it was actually quite small. Bummer!

It's clean and fairly well organized (although I wish they were better at keeping sizes together). There wasn't a lot in the way of furniture on my recent visit but I did leave with a signed pottery vase that will end up on my shelf. Prices are reasonable (less than other thrift stores) and I've noticed the most common price lately seems to be $4.99. Employees are pleasant and helpful. With an open mind and few expectations you just might find a treasure!

I am 65, had to pull this couch out by myself, sat around all day today waiting, called them they never said it was canceled they said driver will text hour before arrival. I called again at 3pm & she tells me it was rescheduled. Fuck this organization, this is the reason why people put good items out on the curb because these donation organization don't know how to do a good job & get items to people who need them. These are the organization that we are hearing about who are stealing taxpayers money! Nothing but a bunch of liberals!

I tried on 8-9 pants of men and women cuz I had to get a pair of khaki for a work thing. I got an $8 pair that had half price color of the day so it was $4. Everything I got was only a couple bucks and all nice stuff. 2 travel cosmetic bags, small purse super cute and I'll post pics. They had a lot of great belts, actually leather. Lots of dog harness and dog items. It's a great store. THEY ACTUALLY HAVE 3 dressing rooms so you can try stuff on. Thankful and grateful cuz I was there an hour trying on every khaki pants I could find. I wandered thru the buy by the pound fenced off section and everything over there looked newish, clean, ironed. Its not a huge selection but everything was organized by colors and size. I love when organization is by color-- so much easier look for the colors you like/want! Some of the sizes seemed off but hey, women's sizing on clothing is entirely random anyway. The dressing rooms are really nice, clean, and spacious. There was also some accessories and gift items. I didn't find anything today but maybe next time!

I have been coming to PLRG since 2017. There have been many times where I felt like their buying…read moredidn't make any sense. For example, I had brought in a beautiful Thierry Mugler blazer with hardly any wear. They denied taking it. I sold it independently and quickly for over 300. Now the latest thing they did, was sell a luxury item to a reseller that commented while they were closed. I then called several times in the morning, exactly when they opened, to be told the item just sold over Instagram. They never used to prioritize Instagram comments over buyers calling into the store. Several times in past years, people would comment on instagram first while they were CLOSED, and I would call in first thing to be sold the item. Then they want to claim this was never a thing lol trying to gaslight me when I had bought many items in the past by phone. To top it off, it was to a reseller lol. They dont care how loyal you've been to them. I've spent so much money over the years but this last incident was the final straw for me. There's better thrift stores around the valley, save yourself the trouble. They don't value long term customers. Edited to add: because of this recent issue that I brought up to them, they were so petty to block me on their Instagram. I never swore at them or anything lol. Avoid this business. Dawn is so incredibly unprofessional and petty to block a customer thats been shopping w them for 9 years. Not a good look at all. Edited yet again as a response to Cat: Cat, that number was not mine any longer as when I came in and was informed of the text received by my old number, I PROFUSELY apologized and updated my phone number with my NEW NUMBER. You'll be talked up by lovely people and learn so much and there's new stuff all the time.
