We have passed by Thrift to Thrive many times and always remarked that we needed to stop in one…read moreday. The day finally came last weekend, but we left feeling somewhat disappointed! I was initially taken aback by the entry of the shop. They had a coffee shop and a large sitting area. I also saw stairs, so I assumed this would be a multi-level thrifting experience. We moseyed around the area just past the coffee shop and found lots and lots of glassware. Dare I say too much glassware? The linens and trinkets sections were disheveled with a handful of visibly broken items sitting on the shelves. The main area of the shop was more visually pleasing and was a bit more organized, but we remained underwhelmed. The biggest disappointment, however, was that the upstairs was restricted to employee access only. We were so disappointed that there weren't more thrifty treasures to be uncovered. The exterior of this shop was deceiving as we thought it would be massive, but it was actually quite small. Bummer!

There wasn't a lot in the way of furniture on my recent visit but I did leave with a signed pottery vase that will end up on my shelf. Prices are reasonable (less than other thrift stores) and I've noticed the most common price lately seems to be $4.99. Employees are pleasant and helpful. With an open mind and few expectations you just might find a treasure!

I am 65, had to pull this couch out by myself, sat around all day today waiting, called them they never said it was canceled they said driver will text hour before arrival. I called again at 3pm & she tells me it was rescheduled. Fuck this organization, this is the reason why people put good items out on the curb because these donation organization don't know how to do a good job & get items to people who need them. These are the organization that we are hearing about who are stealing taxpayers money! Nothing but a bunch of liberals!

I'm not exaggerating when I say at least 90% of my wardrobe comes from here. It is where I go to buy outfits for everything: dates, work, travel, my own baby shower :) Every visit feels like someone with good taste went through the racks first. One of my favorite things is that the store is organized by color. Consignment shops can feel overwhelming and disorganized, but here it's easy to browse and actually find what you're looking for. Even better are the people. Emily and Claire have gotten to know my style over the years and pull things they know I'll love. When I ask for an honest opinion, I get one, and it's always genuine. I've been bringing my son in since he was a baby, and he loves it there too :) They remember him, ask about him, and make him feel welcome. After all this time they feel less like store employees and more like friends I get to visit with when I go in. Going to Poor Little Rich Girl is something I genuinely look forward to, never a chore.
