I took my littles there today to spend some of their Christmas money. The moment we walked in we were greeted by the owner and her daughter; they asked what kind of books we were looking for, what we liked to read, and helped guide us to find some books. We picked up 5, all of which I was unfamiliar with prior to visiting. We read 4 of them at bedtime and my boys loved all of the selections! The bookshop also has a little kid sitting area, some GIGANTIC bean bags, and a little play corner where my youngest immediately started to play in the play kitchen. Please go check this place out- it's so rare to have a local children's bookstore these days!

I like the Round Rock location because they have plenty of handicap parking spaces and nice wide aisles, which makes getting around so much easier in my wheelchair. They do have a good supply of books at the front of the store. There was a set up for gamers in the back of the store. One guy was putting back books near the front, one guy was the cashier, the line got to 5 or 6 people and weirdly the guy restocking never came over to help check people out. It is the one issue I have with this location, I don't know if others have this issue. I spotted this little Goodwill tucked into a strip center while I was pumping gas at the H-E-B next…read moredoor. When I stepped through the door, I discovered that it was the tiniest Goodwill I've ever ever set foot into. The square footage of the place would equal a large efficiency apartment. I have to admit for such a small place they did have some choice items on the shelves of better quality than your average Goodwill. This is also the only Goodwill I've ever seen where the majority of the floor was not actually given over to clothing. As a matter of fact, there were no clothing racks whatsoever. Apparently, this place is been here for almost 10 years. Lots of books, media, glassware, and knickknacks can be found here.

Whether it be sports, kitties, or swimsuit models, there's definitely a calendar for you. Never miss an appointment when you pencil in your gigs to your brand new calendar. Then, when January arrives the store miraculously disappears. Poof...where did it go???
