The finished product looked better than I had hoped for. The paint is smooth and consistent, and the overall quality of the work speaks for itself. They took the same care with a couple of trim pieces as they would with a much larger job. The turnaround time was also incredibly fast. I expected to be without the parts for several days, but they were finished much sooner than I anticipated. Between the quality of the work, the quick turnaround, and pricing that was far more reasonable than the other quotes I received, I wouldn't hesitate to come back for future paint work.

He was extremely thorough during the phone conversation, asking questions to make sure they weren't ripping me off - since I'm a little out of their area, and so they could come in and get the job done as quickly/efficiently as possible, considering I have to be up in 4 1/2 hours for work. The Owner called me back 5 minutes after setting up the tow, to confirm all details and even joined in on the ride/tow! Nicest guys I've met in the industry and I sure know how easy it is to rip someone off when it comes to car parts, tows, auto body, etc. They traveled further than the other towing companies nearby and charged me less then the other quotes I received! Got my car out safe and sound! After everything, Emerson informed me that he has an auto body shop as well, I have some passenger side damage unrelated to this tow and clearly need snow tires after these last 2 storms. It's always a hit or miss and depends if the manager has reached their quotas. I recently moved to Poughkeepsie and as a crazy as it may sound, I had the pleasure of meeting Larry, owner of Prestige Automotive, and his son Lawrence. I had one of those months where I needed repairs to three of my four family cars. My car, a 2020 Cadillac, needed a minor repair. The dealer wanted to charge me double to remove and replace wheel locks. I bought replacements at Autozone, and Lawrence did the job in less than 1/2 hour at 1/2 the price. I left there with a smile and a happy heart. Two weeks later, my wife's car, a 2011 Dodge Avenger, wouldn't start. It had over 130K miles and had not had a tune up since I bought it with 65K miles. It needed a battery, new plugs, coils and related parts. Again, I left there satisfied that I paid a fair price. Lastly, my son, while driving his 2014 Kia Optima (with 138K miles) on I87, was stranded off of New Paltz with engine problems. Since I had two good experiences with Prestige Automotive, I had AAA bring the car to Prestige Automotive. After a couple of days of a preliminary diagnostic test, Larry called me and told me that the car probably needed a new engine. He told me he didn't want to void the warranty because that particular Kia and year were part of a recall. He gave me a related NHTSA bulletin, as well as, Kia recall information and instructed me to tow it to the dealer. After further testing by Kia, the new engine was installed by Kia free of charge. Got a call after 2p saying the quote is over double and no work had been done. They didn't start any work until after 4p. Should've called the customer as soon as you knew the cost and time were going to be outside the quote. We denied the updated cost and said just do the oil. And then they put the WRONG oil in my car. Also hire a front desk lady who doesn't mind talking to customers cause the one you got is garbage. Do yourself a favor, go anywhere else and let this place close up.
