2 piece chicken tenders with mashed potatoes and a biscuit. We chose the honey mustard sauce for the chicken tenders.

Your Yelper Girl checking in! Goodfolks has amazing chicken tenders! The mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese...chef's kiss! Such a cute place to have lunch or a late night snack. The service usually rocks!!

So I guess we haven't been here for a minute... came here Friday around 4PM, we had a craving for fried chicken and didn't want to drive to Round Rock. The place was empty beside us and one other table. Our server sat us and brought water and menus. Honestly I didn't even need one since I know what I wanted. The bacon wrapped sausage pops and a half bone in fried chicken... To our disappointment, they no longer offer bone in fried chicken or any fried chicken! No bacon wrapped sausage pops either, no bacon fried rice or the delicious items we were used to. WTH?? Asking our very nice server, what gives?? She wasn't really sure but thought it had to do with the fried chicken taking too long to prepare and people waiting for their orders. Man what a bummer. So we decided to see what they do carry. And the answer is , not much. I should have trusted my instincts and just went somewhere else, but we had already ordered drinks. Since I had a hankering for chicken, I ordered the chicken wings with a special bbq sauce. I was thinking crispy chicken wings was as close to fried chicken pieces as I was gonna get today. My table also ordered the braised beef shoulder as it sounded delish. We also ordered two biscuits with honey butter. The biscuits arrived first. They were undercooked, dense and like warm. The honey butter was honey in a small container with cold hard butter in the middle. (Refer to pic) The food arrived and I was a bit underwhelmed. The wings were not crispy but soft and flabby. The sauce was flavorful but the wings themselves were not! They reminded me of wings I make in the microwave. The braised beef was ok but it looked nothing like the pic on the restaurants website. Lacking any sauce. Instead of collard greens, it was served with green beans that reminded me of overly cooked canned beans. The bright spot was our server, she was young but very nice and attentive. I don't see my family returning here. The restaurant seems to have turned from Southern Comfort food to Diner food.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the food. The menu has very limited options, especially for vegetarians, so I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for good vegetarian choices. I do eat eggs and chicken as well, but even the dishes I tried weren't very flavorful or enjoyable. The overall food experience just wasn't for me.

We loved it here- so cute- when you walk in it's a gorgeous building with a very open upstairs and 2 bars. Would be perfect place for brunch. Service was good, everyone was nice. The food was very good- dips fresh- everything had great flavor! Lavender lemonade was my favorite! Hope to be back!

Love this little location. Very upscale looking and feel. I think that they are lacking on presentation when it comes to food though. If you look at the pictures, they don't scream upscale at all. Cutting food on a piece of paper in a wire basket sucks. Hard to cut chicken and waffles on and horrible with the syrup. The Service, however, was amazing, but the food lacked when it came to the quality of the cooked chicken because some of it was perfectly cooked, whereas some looked a little overcooked. The salad tasted amazing! But the waffle was hard and in some spots difficult to cut with a knife. Overall, not bad and would love to give them a second chance!

A nice cafe located on the corner of the Georgetown square. This cafe has a small menu that is worth checking out. It also has alcoholic beverages for consumption. Today I stopped by and was seated right away. They were a little busy so it took a little time before they came by to get our order. The server did apologize for our wait. I ordered the Goodfolks classic chicken sandwich with their sidewinder fries. The food was very good. I enjoyed my visit here and most likely be back when Im in GT. Thank you Goodfolks for a good experience.

Tables in dining area left a mess before we got here and until we left.

No one was at the door to greet me and my friend. Tables in dinning area were dirty and all servers kept walking past them ignoring the dirtiness. Food was a 3/10 for flavor and texture. Multiple fried food was soggy, ranch has a terrible dill flavor. No one came to check on our table, ask how our food was, or refill our drinks. We had to ask for our condiments, napkins and anything we needed for the table . These good folks are not good folks!

This place was different and the food was so good! The service was on point! The ordering and seating was a little confusing, but it was my first time and now I know for the next time! The place is clean and I love that it is two stories!

Adorable place! We had a reservation and arrived early, but they seated us right away. We were placed upstairs, which was noticeably warmer than downstairs--something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to temperature. Our waitress was attentive and helpful, even answering questions about a specialty cocktail that wasn't listed on the menu. The food was decent--nothing standout, but solid overall. The ambiance and service definitely made the experience enjoyable.

The hostess and server were great!! We waited about 15 minutes to be seated, once we sat I ordered a margarita and the waitress said it'd be 45 minutes till we get our food and drinks, which was okay. My friend ordered sweet tea but was given unsweetened twice lol. We ended up getting everything in a timely manner. There was an ant in my water. The margarita was great. Brussel sprouts tasted amazing. The tender basket was tasty too, I understand the "specialty sauce" is a $1.00 extra, but the container was not filled, it was maybe less than half. It was pretty loud with a lot of little kids running around the top floor.

My husband and I are already interested after one visit in checking out pricing for possibly renting out the space for an event of our own. The bathrooms are gender neutral BUT when you go in there the different stall doors have only one label, guys or gals, on the door which is very confusing to people entering the bathroom or waiting for stalls and thinking maybe the guys labeled stall only has a urinal or something but they're all the same toilet. It has a very classy, purposefully dated look but was extremely cleaned and well maintained. They also have free guest Wi-Fi. The cocktails are a little pricey for the area, but the venue space and the quality of the drinks were well worth the price. They actually have a quite expansive menu of drink options as well. Definitely needs more seating options for the drink window area if they plan on having more open hours days for people to randomly come in and enjoy a specially crafted drink. I can't wait to see what this place turns into!

The website mentioned reservations but accepting walk-ins also; my wife made a reservation for 8 at 7:40p, and that turned out well, as the couple in front of us hadn't done so & went out front to wait. We had a very attentive waitress, & sat on a raised stage by the window which was cool, but note: tall chairs there maybe not great for short legs. When she poured our water we didn't have to request, she left the carafe, which I supposed was a labor saving idea --until she came back repeatedly and refilled our glasses with it! It aided our date night that the two flat screens had artworks displayed not a basketball game or Chive videos of folks getting injured for 15 seconds of fame. Menu is in the upper middle price range for us but we did an easy work-around to get some upscale food, anyway:: We ordered a bowl of gumbo from the appetizer list, with two spoons; (yeah, been married 41 years)... Arrived perfect temp, not to hot to dig right in. The 6 crab claws broken to expose the meat were a nice touch we've never seen; we try everyone's gumbo: prolly the best we've had recently if ever. Continuing that theme, we shared the 14 oz Japanese style (name recipes me) new horn strip, truly too much for one normal appetite: the already flavorful tender steak was helped even more by a unique brown sauce with capers: and my Dad said a good steak doesn't NEED any help. Well, this steak was so good let's just say "the sauce was gravy." We like Brussels sprouts broiled; so my wife asked when ordering the steak, which comes with creamed sprouts, if they could be broiled: instead our waitress asked the chefs who actually flash fried them with salt and pepper, perfectly, with crunchy outer leaves & al dent inside. My wife ordered a 14.00 glass of Pinot noir; the cool wine glass was a generous size --and filled generously. We like the pretentious wine descriptions from the backs of bottles; bartender let us take a photo of the label but suggested the "vivino" app to get the lowdown on any wine. Finished off sharing the bread pudding with rum soaked yellow raisins, great flavor without excess sweetness, and thanked our waitress Katy.

The waitstaff were all very kind and attentive. The food felt very overpriced for what we received. The brunch fruit bowl I received consisted of four thin slices of strawberry (not even one strawberry), two pineapple chunks and no more than 15 blueberries. The ham and eggs Benedict was borderline flavorless and the egg white was cold and runny. I love a good poached egg, but it was more liquid than poached. The tequila sunrise was musky and the flavor of the tequila overwhelmed the rest of the drink. I really wanted to like this place! However, I spent $35 on a pretty pitiful brunch meal. The restaurant seating area and decor were all nice. The bathroom had no music and is small and cramped (you can't get paper towels without either blocking the door or a stall). The people were kind and attentive enough that I probably would try it again? Maybe Sunday brunch or a different meal entirely.
