Really good food & service exceeding expectations especially for a cafe in a casino. The quality of food & drinks is more like what one would expect to get in a nice sit down restaurant instead of a typical casual eatery that cafe is often associated with. The place is clean with a good vibe all around. And also loves the fact that there's no waiting and plenty of seating with friendly and prompt service. Worth noting that this cafe also has a full bar with nice selections to satisfy anyone's alcoholic libations desire. The salmon salad has a perfectly grilled and nicely seasoned salmon which is crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. The greens are lightly coated in mild dressing of subtle yet flavorful lemon vinaigrette. The Asian salad that my friend ordered looks epic and colorful. Judging from the fact that the plate is cleaned empty at the end of our meal tells me that it must be quite yummy as well. Will definitely come back next time we're in the area or passing through. As a nice bonus, there are a few EV fast charge stations on the 4th floor of the clean & spacious parking structure. Stop by at this restaurant on the way the P.S. Ordered the BLTA with sweet potato fries. When the food came out, the sandwich was soggy and I didn't get the sweet potato fries that I ordered. Instead I received regular fries. I notified our waitress that the sandwich was cold and soggy, the sweet potato fries I ordered were incorrect. I sent the food back and waited over 10 mins, no food came out. I notified the manager on duty and explain the situation, she assured me my order what a priority, not! Waiter another 10 mins and still no food was served. I cancelled the order and before leaving a spoke with another manager and informed her of what happened. She was very apologetic and wanted to buy me a sandwich. After the ordeal I went through getting a simple BLT sandwich, I lost my appetite. Our waitress was a Hispanic lady, I could tell she didn't care about her job or customers. She should be written up or fired. She doesn't know what's she's doing and she totally brush you off when you make a complaint about the food. Worst customer service I've had in a casino. Will never return to Morongo casino. Higher management should retrain their employee's to treat customers better because with customers they don't have a job! read more

Ate here twice during my stay at the casino hotel. First time we ate inside the restaurant second time we ordered to go to be eaten in our room. Our server was nice and attentive when we sat in the restaurant to eat. The place was very clean as well. Our food eating inside the restaurant was perfect. Everything was flavorful and tasted great. Highly recommend the breadsticks they came with this delicious garlic butter. The marinara had a funny taste. Burger was big enough to split. Chicken strips were a little spicy so if you aren't into spicy just be aware. Friends we were with ordered the calamari and loved it. Then they ordered the French dip with sweet potato fries and the southern fried chicken that came with mashed potatoes and veggies. They were happy, I tried the sweet potato fries and they were a bit soggy. Our last night of our stay we ordered to go and ordered the burger and fries again which was perfect. I ordered the southern fried chicken meal as my friend did earlier in the stay. It was a bit spicy which was ok but the second piece of chicken was very burnt. Mashed potatoes were good and some of the carrots were a little hard. I wouldn't order it again. We also ordered the chocolate cake that tasted way more like dark chocolate which was not advertised. Tasted so bitter you had to eat around the frosting. All in all it was ok but not that good for the price. read more

The name says it all..... We gather here for good times. The family and I go here for brunch and to celebrate milestones. This restaurant is located inside of Casino Morongo in Cabazon. They have a large dining room. On one side it's got the casino vibe, the other side has a view of the pool so it's got the pool vibes. It's just a casual place to gather anytime of day. The food is overall pretty good. There are some items I wouldn't order again, like that beet goat cheese salad (lol what was I thinking) or the potato soup. Skip those, get the chops. :) read more

I don't typically write reviews for casino cafes because, well, it's a casino cafe. I don't have high expectations. BUT this place is definitely an exception. It was my second time here. The first time I ate here, I ordered breakfast and sat at the bar. Since it was a positive experience I sat at the bar but ordered lunch. The service was good and everything we ordered was delicious. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the chips had a few pieces of chicharron. It's like finding onion rings in your fries or vice versa - small life pleasure. I came here on a whim on a Friday night and was seated promptly. The server Ashley was great. She took my order quickly, the food came very timely and she checked on me just the right amount. I ordered the filet mignon. It was cooked perfectly and the sauce was a nice accent without overpowering the delicious flavor of the steak. The Justin cab went great with it. The veggies were FRESH and a nice selection to boot. The mashed potatoes were very good also. The restaurant has some background music playing at just the right volume and I even got a table by a nice big screen tv and was able to watch the fourth period of the Lakers game. I've been here many times while visiting Morongo with my family and have tried many of their meals and burgers, and it never disappoints. The food is always delicious. The only thing I have found disappointing about this place is that on weekdays, when the main kitchen closes down, they don't have a ton of options on their menu and are really lacking options for those who are vegetarian. My mom herself is vegetarian and she was hoping to get a plant based burger one night we went in on a weekday and they didn't have it on the menu because for some reason it could only be made in the primary kitchen. I don't really understand that and was disappointed to hear that. But aside from that, it is a great restaurant with lots of options and reasonable prices. read more

That would be fine but Shannon's attitude was... not? I asked if we could get a cocktail menu and she seemed annoyed that I asked. She also seemed annoyed that I asked which drink was the sweetest. She walked away while telling me it's each person's preference (a real literal head turning conversaion. Like, I'm still talking to you.) I asked if I "could possibly get the blackberry margarita" and she looked and said "Possibly?" I responded asking for the blackberry margarita again without using the word "possibly". If I wanted a grammatical shaming teacher moment, I'd go back to grade school. It gave "can i go to the bathroom" vs "may I go". Ma'am. Stop. I'm trying to eat, not get shamed. I couldn't look at her afterwards and that wasn't a fun moment. I regret tipping, but the food was still good. We were seated right away , COVID seatings protocol observed. My best friend and I were a little late for their breakfast hour 7 am-11 am .We asked our waiter if they would still make breakfast. She says they still do and only a certain items they can accommodate. I had the build your own omelette $15.99 , since I opted for white eggs it's an increase of $1.29 more . my omelette cooked perfectly! Moist, not runny and not too dry. My meal includes hash browns and toasts, To substitute for pancakes it's $3.99 more. My girlfriend had the donut French toast and scrambled eggs. The French toasts looked beautifully plated , with fresh fruits and loads of whipped cream. French toasts were so good , with each bite with a combination of warm soft cinnamon sweet bread , creamy whipped cream and the cold tender juicy fruits together is sinful with each bite we took .. orgasmically goodness lol!!!!! It wasn't bad but also wasn't the best which was main reason why I took one star off. Would recommend and would most likely come back! We got the Morongo punch, marguerita pizza, and prime rib dinner. I was pleasantly surprised at the prime rib because it was super juicy!! I ordered it medium rare and it came out to a perfect medium. I read other reviews to order one level more raw than your preferred and it came out delicious! My husband also agreed that it was a good prime rib compared to more expensive places we've had. Pizza was solid and quite large so it can be shared between two people easy. Morongo punch was good as well but nothing spectacular. Over all we had a good dinner and it didn't hurt the wallet as much as some other places. 4/5 read more

This place is so-so. We were told that we would have a table in 20-30 minutes. It took 90 minutes to get a seat. The food is not great for the price. None of us particularly enjoyed any of the variety of dishes that were ordered. Specifically, the fish and chips were highlighted in yelp reviews, so we ordered those. The fish was very chewy, and the server said that the type of fish is "white" and can vary day to day. Ambience is loud and bright, like a mellow sports bar. We were happy that the smell of cigarettes didn't waft in, given that it's open to the casino, but we're not particularly impressed. read more

We had lunch here on our anniversary because we were in the area. It was... fine. My husband liked his club sandwich enough but the fish in my fish n' chips was very dry. Service was also very lacking. The place was nearly empty (it was a Wednesday) but the service was painfully slow and refills on drinks were hard to come by. Impressed! We had no idea this was in a casino. We just looked for a place that got good reviews and ended up here. There was something for everybody -- the prices are fantastic. I had what I thought was going to be a simple beet salad ($16) and I added steak to it ($8). I can eat. Well they have a pretty wide variety of menu selections and the spaghetti meatballs are really good but the chili rellenos are out of this world!!!! They give you two humongous chili rellenos (I take one to go) with rice, beans and chips and the sauce over the chili rellenos are so delicious and authentic!!! The fish tacos are great and so are the Angus burger sliders with bacon they are absolutely delicious. Breakfast they have a Carnitas omelette that is out of this world. Delicious! It was great food for its price, the service was nice. Nicole is one of the best servers ever!!! The whole place was comfy and the tables weren't too close to each other where I like. For the Prime Rib Combo with Shrimp, the prime rib was delicious. The shrimp I wish was on the side so it was crunchy but it was unfortunately soggy. The vegetables need more cooking but it was okay, and the mash potatoes needed some more salt and pepper but it was nice and buttery. Overall - I'd come back! read more
