    Discoloration in my TV

    I used Good Morning Movers in late February of 2024 for a move from a one bedroom apartment to a two bedroom apartment. The initial interaction was fine, they quickly started moving things and everything was going well. I was moving in with a roommate who used her own separate moving company. She met up with me at my place, the movers didn't have too much left, but they still had a couple trips to load up, so I told them I would meet them at the new apartment address. I left before/right around 10am. They didn't arrive to the new apartment until 11:30am. Once there they moved everything in, took longer than expected, I think they finished close to, if not a little bit after 2pm. Keep in mind, my roommate's moving company started a little after Good Morning Movers had arrived at my place, but her moving company arrived at the new apartment and finished moving much sooner than Good Morning Movers (and was cheaper, almost $100 difference). When they were finally done, I asked Carlos how much I owed him, he did one calculation, I forgot what the number was, but it was $500-something. He said he had calculated wrong and then gave me a new number of $625. When I initially booked the moving service with Crystal, she said she would give me a rate of $99/hr and she would waive the fuel cost of $40. I believe I was overcharged, whether Carlos accidentally charged me the fuel price or not, 5 hours of service x $99/hr does not equal $600+. Whatever. Then, when everything was said & done I turned my TV on and noticed discoloration in the top right corner like it had been damaged. My TV did not have any discoloration the last time I had turned it on before the move, so thinking it was damaged in the move, I emailed Crystal to come to some sort of resolve. I emailed her on 2/24/24 and am writing this review on 3/8/24. I still have not heard back from Crystal. To summarize, the service was okay, I know there are cheaper/faster moving companies out there and after they overcharge you, they ignore you. Thank you for a learned lesson, I guess.

    I have used these movers in the past and had a great experience so when it came time to move again I called them up right away. Unfortunately this time did not go as smoothly. This company does not stand behind their service. They ruined my brand new sofa during the move by throwing a bag of paint that they weren't even asked to move on it and did not take responsibility for it. The scheduler, Crystal, refused to take my call and would not respond to any of my messages. They obviously have no kind of liability insurance for these kinds of incidents. They don't care about you or your things. I'm uploading a picture of the message I received from Crystal so you can see proof of how they treat their customers. I'm a single woman who had to move suddenly because of a leak and mold damage in my apartment so they're hurting me by not taking responsibility for their actions. They only care about themselves which is very evident in this message from Crystal. I already paid them almost $1,000 and will have to spend another $180 to fix the damage they caused. It's very upsetting and unfortunately this review is my only recourse.

    Damaged Television

    Good morning movers left me in a pretty bad predicament after using their service. I'd gotten 3 movers for what I hoped to be a 3 to 4 hour job. The office lady Crystal recommended 2 movers for my 1 bedroom apartment move that was within 5 minutes of one another. The 3 movers took a total of 6 hours. After getting Carlos and his team situated I stepped out to handle some errands. When I came back I noticed one of them got thirsty because they took a soda out of my refrigerator and drank it without asking. It made me wonder what else did they do while I was gone. As I'd walk out to check on their work I'd always see the movers on their phones texting and talking. The icing on the cake is that they cracked my bedroom television. I'd only had two televisions and would have assumed they'd know to place them carefully in the truck. After reaching out to the office they told me their insurance goes by weight. They told me insurance only covered around $26 but they could give me $150. I told Crystal that I tipped the drivers $150 and that this was unacceptable. She eventually told me the most they could do is $200 to which I told her "I'll take the best that you can do, but I will be writing a review every possible place I can". And here we are. After spending $1000 on movers (6 hours for a 1 bedroom with 3 movers was disappointing), I am now out of another $1000 for a new television (at least I got to upgrade to a 75"). I am very disappointed with the service and overall would not recommend these movers. I understand this is a "family owned business who relies heavily on its reviews" which is why I think it would be even more important for you guys to make things right when your customers come to you with concerns.

From the start, they took the time to walk through our home and clearly ask about everything we wanted to move so they could mentally map out how to load the truck efficiently. They were extremely diligent with protection, using blankets and/or shrink wrap on all furniture and electronics, and they were very by the book when it came to reviewing the contract and confirming details. I especially appreciated that they checked all electronics before and after the move and even had me climb into the truck at the end to verify that nothing had been left behind. The move‑in was just as smooth. We had labeled certain items to go to one level and others to another, and they followed those directions perfectly, with everything ending up exactly where it was supposed to, with no damage and no confusion. Their organization and care were obvious in every box/container they carried and every piece of furniture they placed. Moving is usually a very stressful experience, but Fito and the Pure Moving team made it feel manageable and even reassuring. I found them to be excellent in every way, and I would highly recommend both the company and this specific crew to anyone looking for reliable, thoughtful, and professional help on moving day.

Then the messages started coming in. I received 10 inquiries from various moving companies, but Prodigy came in first. You can tell that the 1st messages look automated, but Abby came in with a personal message as well and sent me the specifics to my move quickly. I had her on the phone within a couple of hours. I had diligently worked through all the companies and looked at the various price points and what it included. I was really weary on how fast things would go, but Abby said, for the size of myhome, she suggested 4 movers at $195. Since they also had great reviews and seemed very professional, I completed my reservation by the end of the day. Day of move: Not going to lie, I waited too long to pack up my office and boy, did I feel it on moving day. My office was still not fully packed, it had a lot of furniture to be moved and I was literally still working when they arrived. Arrival time was between 8-9 AM. Ivan called a little after 8 AM to let me know they would be arriving in about 45 min since it was traffic and they were coming from the valley (I was in Echo Park). So I started excusing myself from work and prepared for their arrival. Everything happened so fast. I showed them around the apartment: 2 stories and 1 level up from garage (2 sets of stairs) and then a long driveway. I had stuff in the backyard and the balcony too. I asked if they could put some furniture out on the street for pickup and they helped me out with that as well! I let Ivan know that I was still working on breaking down the office, so he said he would go there last... and they all went to work. All I could here was the plastic wrap noise going round and round. They had broken down everything! Dining table, Peloton, Recliner chair.. It was amazing to watch and they did it with such care. They were done packing up in less than 4 hrs (3 bedroom apartment). We took the drive down south and they beat me there. They were already unloading and asking where to put things. Not only are they movers, they are also interior decorators LOL. We did not move into an empty house, so they helped us move things around and place stuff where we wanted. On top of that, they rebuilt all the things they took apart. I bought them lunch from a Busy Bee in San Pedro and a neighbor even offered them avocados from her tree! At the end of the day, I couldn't find my bag and phone! The whole team helped me try to find it because we thought it got buried in the garage! I had put it aside in one of the bedrooms and forgot where I had put it, but I was so grateful that they tried to help. I was thinking it would be an 8-10 hr day and it turned out to only be 7 hrs including the drive time. They made a very incredibly stressful time in my life as easy as possible. Then Abby, the manager of schedule talked as if I was wrong and was unapologetic then just started complaining WHY CANT WE JUST TAKE THIS DATE SINCE MOVERS THERE ALREADY. I told her cuase were busy today and she just handled the entire situation as if we were to blame and never apologized. On top of that , their work order of WHERE to move my things was the WRONG ADDRESS!!! They dont really care about details and when they make mistakes, they act like your wrong and are rude about it. I understand miscommunications happens all the time, but even after showing her the clear emails which she confirmed herself in writing, she had no apologies. I have zero confidence in this mover company and cancelled the enitre order and will be hiring real pros. I have no idea how they got so many high yelp reviews.     Update: After…read moreposting this review; a representative reached out offering to take my coffee table and promise of no additional costs. I will post my final review upon delivery and update it to 5-stars in January if everything else goes smoothly. Appreciate the customer resolution here. Original Review: They picked up my stuff today, so far it has been a mixed bag with BLVD Moving. The pickup crew Jaime and Irvin were great and understanding and did a great job packing up the stuff and taking care of my concerns. 10/10 humans. They packed very efficiently and with care. However dispatch manager Ethan so far has been extremely rude and doesn't even explain his reasoning of why the moving estimate cf was so high. I've moved a one bedroom twice in the past with the same stuff and total cf was approx 400 for both and their final inventory came to 470 ish so seems like the estimation software they use overestimates (I had to take out my coffee table to get to a price I could afford). The sales folks Ryan and Matt have not returned my calls or emails in the last 3 days regarding charge discrepancies than what was promised when I signed. I even offered to have a video call for an accurate estimate but on pickup my charges went from an initial estimate of $3200 for a one bedroom to $3600 the day before to $4000. Did I have a few more boxes packed overnight? Yes. But not more to justify the exorbidant cost increase. I am hoping for a smooth delivery experience with no more additional fees and more direct and honest communication.

They charged me an additional $400 the day before deliver where I had no choice but to pay it * They held my items until I paid them the "additional charges" they demanded and did not uphold the original "binding estimate" they gave me. 2. My items were broken * My boxes arrived with 4 of my frames broken, a hole in the back of my dresser, and a support beam in my couch is unfixable (see pictures attached for reference.) 3. They didn't deliver in the window they told me * The window was 2-10 days from the pick-up date and they delivered on the 13th day. They also did a terrible (I mean absolutely terrible) job of communicating when they would deliver.   From start to finish, my experience with this company was awful. My "agent" (Brent Sanchez) would redirect every question and concern I have to where they never got resolved. I have used the moving company MiniMoves in the past for long distance moves and I will definitely be going back to them.

With extreme care, they wrapped every glass, plate and salt and pepper shakers, boxed and labeled them for unpacking in our new house. Each of the five guys were super heroes and moved at warp speed to pack up and transport our household goodies to our new house. When they arrived at the new house they switched to reverse mode and unpacked each box also at warp speed and care for us to find a place for it all. They were always ahead of us and in unwrapping our stuff and it started to stack on counters and every available empty spot. They also had a separate truck just for the things that needed to be trashed and donated. They lived up to their name of "PRESTO" and made our nightmarish experience of moving into a stress free experience.
