I also spoke directly with CSI and was told the claim was closed at your company's direction--not due to any lack of response from me. The floor damage was hidden by boxes your movers placed throughout the area. Once the boxes were removed, the scratches were visible and I notified you within two days. That is reasonable notice. The $0.60/lb valuation is irrelevant here. This is not about damaged household goods--it's about property damage caused by your employees. Scratching new granite flooring with dollies is negligence, and that liability rests with your company, not the customer. Very disappointing handling of a clear issue.

I would always cheap out and go with moving companies with cheaper rates. Of course, cheap rates would inevitably lead to cheap quality service, and oddly enough, I somehow end up paying higher prices since cheaper movers did not move fast or took their time or weren't good at their jobs. My moving luck finally changed when I was referred to All In Moving company from a friend who had used them three times for her moves in LA. I called them Monday afternoon, and was able to schedule immediately for the next day morning. It was so easy and hassle free to book and the man on the phone was so friendly and made it so simple. A confirmation email was sent right after the call and the next morning movers, Antonio+Brandon, came right on time to the first address and immediately to the second address for the second pickup. I have never experienced faster, efficient, honest, more intelligent, and friendly movers. When I first heard the hourly rate over the phone call I thought it was pretty high in price since it's the highest hourly rate I've agreed for (I really trusted my friend's referral), but what you pay for is what you get. Antonio+Brandon were quick thorough, careful and FAST at disassembling and reassembling parts. It took them 4 hours flat to get to 3 addresses, and it ended up costing me $600 --WAY LESS THAN ANY OTHER MOVING COMPANY I HAVE WORKED WITH THE LAST 10 YEARS (I have always somehow get ripped off by cheap scammy movers and end up spending more than $850+ for moving a one bedroom in LA) I couldn't be more stress-free and happy about a move ever. Disappointed with how a serious safety and communication issue was handled…read more I hired this company for a very specific job: lifting the upper portion of a large china hutch, estimated at 200-300 lbs, approximately 15 feet and placing it onto the lower cabinet. I provided the company with the details and photos beforehand. Before paying the agreed $300 flat rate, I specifically questioned why the contract listed only two movers because I did not believe two people could safely handle the weight. During the phone conversation, I was assured that the two-person listing was standard and that the foreman would be notified that the job required additional manpower. I relied on that assurance when I paid and signed the contract. Only two movers arrived. I immediately raised my concern again. They said they would use shoulder lifting straps, but they could not locate them and proceeded anyway. During the lift, the cabinet began to tilt, and I was told they "needed me in the middle." I ended up physically helping lift and stabilize a 200-300 lb piece of furniture--the exact situation I had tried to prevent by hiring professional movers and specifically requesting adequate staffing. Had I known beforehand that only two movers would be sent and that I might be expected to assist with the lift myself, I would never have agreed to the $300 service. What was particularly concerning was that one of the movers told me they had not been informed about the size or weight of the cabinet before arriving. I don't blame the two movers; they were courteous and did their best. My issue is with the company's communication, staffing, and preparation. I contacted the company afterward and gave them an opportunity to address the situation. The matter was handled through a third-party claims company, which stated that it investigated my complaint. After an initial $50 refund offer and my request that they reconsider, the final offer remained $50 on a $300 job. No additional effort was made by the moving company to resolve my concerns. Fortunately, no one was injured and the furniture was not damaged, but that doesn't erase the unnecessary safety risk. I hired professional movers specifically so I would not have to participate in lifting a piece of furniture this heavy. Based on the service itself and, especially, how my concerns were handled afterward, I cannot recommend this company. If you're hiring them for a heavy or unusually difficult item, I strongly recommend getting the promised number of movers and required equipment confirmed in writing before paying, regardless of what you're told over the phone.

There is a charge if you end up having a second location to move things - all that was reasonable for us. I reserved online about one week ahead and theres the $50 deposit during reservation. Two guys showed up and came with their own dollies and tools in a big movers truck. Their moving services included: Plastic wraps, blankets/moving pads, and boxes for packing. There was constant good communication and they worked hard with wrapping furniture, packing loose items into their box, loading/unloading, and moving heavy big furniture up/down stairs. We were able to pack/unpack, load/unload and also stop by a second property all in less than 4 hours. They move fast and I really appreciate that they use their time well and move efficiently. I highly recommend LA Movings and will use them again if I need to move in the future.

THEY DID NOT PROVIDE INSURANCE INFORMATION FOR US TO MAKE OUR OWN CLAIM. THEY CLAIM I SIGNED INSURANCE STUFF. THE DRIVER ROCKY TOLD ME TO SIGN TO SIGNIFY THAT THEY WERE STARTING AT 10:20 AND VERY QUICKLY TOOK AWAY THE CLIPBOARD. INSURANCE WAS NEVER DISCUSSED. THEY SAID THEY WOULD MAKE IT RIGHT AND REPLACE ALL THREE TVS. THEY ARE LIARS RUNNING A SHADY BUSINESS. DO NOT USE THEM BY ANY MEANS. SEE YOU IN COURT. I've never been so disappointed in service in my life. Everything was great until they had to make one final trip to get my liquor cabinet, dining room table, and three TVs. I thought to myself, "this is it, it's finally over. The move is done and I can move on with my life." HA. For whatever reason, they didn't use TV boxes to move my televisions. I own a 65" Sony 4K, a 55" Sony 4K, and a 50" Samsung LED. You can pick out anyone who knows me - or has known me for any amount of time, really - I take incredible care of my things. ESPECIALLY my electronics, because, well, I work in tech. Upon them unwrapping my 65", I notice something wrong in the corner. It looks like tape from afar. I ask what's on the corner of my TV. One of the helpers says "oh, it must be from the blanket." Upon further inspection, there was absolutely no doubt in anyone's mind that they definitely dropped my TV. Look at the pictures and see for yourself. After they made their insurance claim, I paid them and they said the other TVs looked fine. I left to stay with someone and didn't return until Friday early afternoon (the move was completed Wednesday night). I go into my bedroom, and look down at my 55" Sony, and lone behold, there's a crack in the upper right hand corner of the frame, and it webs all the way across to the left, and down the right side. Messed up part? There's handprints where the damage is. I look at the Samsung. I think to myself, "surely they couldn't break all three TVs." I was wrong. They broke that, too. Similar crack in the upper left, and it webbed all the way across. Nobody touched these TVs. The one in the other room wasn't touched, and I wasn't in my bedroom until Friday to see. There are multiple witnesses that can attest to this. I email them immediately. No response. Call the manager. Ghosted. On Thursday, the manager called me and said "insurance only covers $0.60 per pound so you won't get much through them." Excuse me? Why don't you have commercial insurance for your movers? Then he tells me he'll find me a used one. What? My TVs were in mint condition. After talking to a random customer service rep, Annette, on Friday, the manager calls me back. He offers me a "used TV for $950 that's the same model, but has a scratch on the screen." My TV didn't have a scratch on it before, so why should it now? I offered a brand new discounted TV that would be the same price. I offered the discounted options so many times I lost count. I kept getting the runaround. The manager called me AGAIN, and told me he spoke to the movers and that they "hit a speed bump at full speed." What? So all the TVs were strapped together? They weren't secured? This is ridiculous. To really rub salt into the already open, gushing wound, the driver, Rocky, called me. He tells me there's no way this could happen. He's essentially calling me a liar. Why would I lie about this? Why would I make a big deal about this if it didn't happen? He then - I kid you not - tried to offer me "TVs in his storage unit" because, you know, "customers give me a bunch of stuff." Why would I take random used TVs to replace my TVs that were in mint condition?? I have the receipts. It's nearly $3800 in equipment. I have given them until end of day Monday to give me a resolve in the situation. If they don't, I will be taking them to court. I've already spoken to my attorney about how to go about this, and I will not stop until justice is served, and my equipment is replaced to my standards, or I'm given then monetary equivalent.
