Stayed nearby for a work trip so this was the nearest coffee shop to me each morning and I was not disappointed. Firstly, the staff was so friendly each day and made it a great first stop for my morning. On top of that, the inside is decorated really cute and I loved the friendly ambiance. The coffee was strong and perfectly sweetened with lavender as I asked for. I really enjoyed this place and would love to go again on my next visit to LA.

Chai Latte

First time trying Good Intentions Coffee on Wilshire in LA and it definitely won't be my last. The moment I walked in, I was enveloped in the most wonderful, earthy aroma that was so much more than just a coffee shop smell. It was complex and full of flavor, and I immediately knew I was in for a treat. I was honestly a bit overwhelmed trying to decide what to order, as everything on the menu sounded amazing. I finally settled on a chai latte, and it was the perfect choice. It was brewed fresh and smelled incredible, with chai flavors that were absolutely spot on. Drinking it felt like being wrapped in a warm blanket on a cold day, it was smooth, comforting, and had the most delightful light kick. I was so impressed that I even looked up the ingredients for a chai latte, only to realize that while the ingredients might be simple, the frothy and smooth texture of this drink could only be achieved by a truly masterful hand. Cheers until the next coffee/tea stop!

Good Intentions is a very small coffee shop but they roast their own coffee (off site) and make the best espresso-based drinks in the area hands down (and I've tried most of the coffee shops in the area). Prices are reasonable for LA - about $8 for an iced oat latte and about the same for a matcha latte. Staff are super friendly and of course the shop is very dog friendly as well, snapping pics of your canine friends that come and visit. Only downside is limited hot food options (no kitchen as far as I can tell), and many of the pastries were sold out by 8:30. They also sell their own coffee (about $20/12oz bag) and had some that were freshly roasted the day before - can't get coffee that fresh anywhere else!

I got their Pandan matcha latte (8/10) and it did not disappoint. Such a cute little coffee shop with cute decor. There's a good amount of space inside to do work, but the tables aren't too big. The matcha I bought was priced like any other LA matcha latte, but I'd say it's worth the price! It's just the right amount of sweetness. The staff are nice as well and there's a cute wall with photos of all the puppies that come by the shop!

Amazing coffee and matcha spot that gets a LOT of regulars for good reason. I tried the bad apple matcha latte, which was the perfect combination of hot apple cider x matcha ever. It's honestly the best cafe drink I've had all year, and I've visited a LOT to the detriment of my wallet :(. Their chamoy espresso tonic was also STELLAR. Whoever thought of chamoy with espresso is a genius. Try it!

Pumpkin square (too cinnamon-ieee for me) 9/2024

Love this cute place. They just opened on September 9, 2024. I came to pick up an order. Sara was super sweet and gave me an extra bag of pastries and offered me a FREE coffee. It was a cold brew which was delicious. I got home and I really like their coffee strudel slice loaf. The pumpkin cake square to me was way too cinnamon-ie. Parking is street but I did find. Lot and used it. Not sure if it's ok to park there. It was after hours. Didn't want to be like A-holes who think they are privileged to park on the red or double park. And I'm not talking about the popos! I would definitely come back here. Especially with the warm welcoming and friendliness from Arnold (barista) and Sara (owner?).

Seasonal blood orange mocha - decaf and oat milk! Not too sweet, which is the best compliment.

A delightful little spot on Wilshire that's a much-needed breath of fresh air! The people who work there are so kind and thoughtful. 10% off if you work at Cedars Sinai and the drinks are always made with exquisite love and care. They release seasonal drinks that are unique and show a lot of R&D--a blood orange mocha and a ginger miso pear latte, for example. Can't wait to see this place get the flowers they deserve! This is the kind of spot where the employees want to know about you and they sincerely care about you having a good time/enjoying your drinks.

This place is small, friendly, has seating and cute stuff to look at and a decent menu. They're a small hole in the wall with a little bakery section but what I loved was learning they make their own syrups.

Mocha and almond croissant

Stopped in to grab a coffee and instead had an experience! Such great coffee and pastries, and our mini Dachshund Scout was treated like a princess! Highly recommend! @GoodIntentionsCoffee @GoScoutAbout

My new favorite coffee spot. I am always looking for good coffee. Staff is super friendly. Maitlyn and Quinn were so welcoming and even remembered me when I came back a week later! The place is really cute and comfortable too. My first time I got a cold brew. Second time tried the hot chocolate. Perfect! Not too sweet, smooth and delicious. Def be back. Def recommend!

Good Intentions Coffee, albeit modest, is a truly tremendous coffee shop for so many reasons. The owner and staff are a very friendly, warm, and welcoming bunch. Upon entry you'll be greeted well and in addition get to start off your morning with cool vibes and good tunes. I really like the wall of vinyls and paintings/pictures on the adjacent walls that complement the simplistic, yet engaging atmosphere. All of this combined translates extensively well to the coffee and enhances the experience of each cup. I'd recommend the Americano and their pour over, which oftentimes is a rotating selection of beans from South American countries. If you feel like brewing your own Good Intentions at home, I'd recommend the Dark Side Blend which was reasonably priced.

Iced Cappuccino
Yuran S.

I think I just found the best coffee shop near me! I ordered an ice cappuccino, and the moment I tasted the coffee I'm amazed by the quality of their beans. It's so balanced and smooth! The owner was so kind and friendly. I also loved the aesthetic here! Both the coffee cups and decor are sooo cute. Definitely going again and try more of their drinks

This point is key as this neighborhood can be tricky to park in during peak business hours even though there are several metered spots available in front of the shop and on surrounding streets. I recently visited on a Friday morning and found nearby parking within walking distance, and you could also park at the nearby library and walk if the cafe if circling around for a spot is getting you nowhere. Now, on to the cafe itself! Verve offers a variety of drinks along with pastries for sale, and they even hosted a cookbook popup during my recent visit. I usually get espresso-based drinks or their cold brew, and I've never been disappointed by the drink quality or the time it takes to prepare my beverages. There's ample seating both indoors and outdoors, and I could see why this would be a popular spot for reading or getting work on your laptop done.

Unfortunately, Community Goods is worth the hype and I will be coming back and waiting in line haha…read more I went for the first time a few weeks ago on a Saturday morning around 9:30am and waited 1.5 hours. The line is not for the faint of heart. I tried their matcha einspanner, breakfast sliders, and pistachio toast and all three were AMAZING. - Matcha Einspanner: One of the best matchas I've ever had! The matcha is so well balanced - you can actually taste the matcha, not too sweet, and creamy too. They also sprinkle sea salt on top which helps enhance the matcha flavor. My only complaint is that I wish the cup was bigger. - Breakfast Sliders: I wasn't expecting much from the sliders, but everyone always hypes up their slides, so I knew I had to give it a try. I was not disappointed! The egg is so fluffy and the sauces that come with it are so delicious, especially their hot sauced. I added bacon and avocado too and it was great. - Pistachio Toast: I feel like their pistachio toast is not talked about enough. It was so yummy and satisfying that I wish I could get another one. The toast is hearty and the pistachio spread with sea salt, olive oil, and olive oil is the perfect balance of sweet and savory. I'm still thinking about their toast. Although it is quite pricey, I think the taste and quality justify the price. The interior is small and there's about 6 tables outside which is pretty crowded so you might have to take it elsewhere to enjoy. Parking is easy with metered street parking or free parking in the neighborhoods.

The line was full of restless people and It was overwhelming. It was hot outside. It's pricey also. But my food was delicious. I recommend but beware you need to make it an event instead of a stop. So if you have a day off work and have time to kill but also want to get hard earned coffee come here It's pretty good but make your wait worth it and get the oats.
