Wish I would have read some of these reviews first. I wouldn't recommend. Too expensive with minimal relief.

Here's why…read more - My mom who is 72 years old had been hurting for almost a decade with a frozen shoulder and she would always get an ibuprofen shot. - When we went to Dr. Harlan, we were clueless. My Mom's pain from 1-10 is... 12. (Yes, she was in extreme pain). -Dr. Harlan said the session might take up to 10 sessions and he was fine by only 6. (some doctors will take advantage of that and will do all the sessions even if it's not necessary.) -The next day after her session with Dr. Harlan I asked her about her pain from 1-10 and she said 2! I cannot say thank you enough for making my Mom feel so much better. She's more happier and not in pain. She is enjoying life more. Some doctors will take advantage of their clients because most of them are business men. Dr. Harlan proved me wrong. The mere fact that he only did 6 sessions with my Mom is absolutely amazing and he definitely gained my trust. I already recommended three people and definitely will recommend more.

Each time at three different locations they ask what size and which shoe. End of story. This year I was sent to Hanger, I went from one star service to five star service. This Scottsdale location did an in depth interview, numerous measurements gave information on why some styles might be better suited for me. After the arrival of the shoes still did some shaving of insoles then wanted me back in two weeks at which time careful review of the insoles (with adjustments) sitting on the floor checking movement of each foot. I cannot believe they go to show much to make sure everything is perfect. I peeked in the window of their large well equipped lab...... amazing Lori Dias, C.P.O. did fittings after a man did original analis attention to detail is great. Do not hesitate to check on these people for any prosthetic or feet gear kneads you might have.

My insurance didn't cover and I said I needed to know cost before I decided if I could afford. I was told $1,056.83 which after the cost of everything else due to injury and crappy insurance was A LOT for us. Yet, we bucked up and paid it. This was in March and this month (June) I receive a bill for another $162.72! So very disappointing. They should have known how much it would cost OR give me a heads up saying, you may get another bill depending on insurance adjustment. Honestly, I probably would have said I need to know EXACTLY what this will cost! To date I've used once. It is uncomfortable, yet I figured as much. Unfortunately it kept slipping, which of course it's not supposed to. It's now summer so I won't hike again until it cools off. I hope it will be worth the 1200 bucks. So disappointing. Ugh.

He asks if we want it and we said only if insurance will cover it. He tells us it will. So we accept it. A month later we get a bill for $1,194.36. It wasn't covered by insurance. There was a $238.87 contractual adjustment. So the balance we owe is $955.49. I looked on several different websites and shock of shocks I can purchase the same back brace anywhere from $190-$250. Went to the Gilbert office and actually talked to the guy who gave us the brace. He claims the owner has told him that they don't bill patients in hospital emergent situations. They bill insurance and if they don't cover then they go after the hospital. I've called the billing department a few times and they tell me that they never bill hospitals. What ever insurance doesn't cover gets billed to the patients. Moral of the story is don't deal with this business, unless you have confirmation from your insurance company that you won't be billed 5X what the item is worth. I'm still trying to deal with this company, can't afford to pay this outrageous bill.

And, of course, I had to buy shoes, inserts, and some ankle high socks. So, I left with about an $1800 tab. After a few weeks, while I had some pain improvement, the sticker shock is what hit me. I knew that there was a 20% restocking fee and I could only get a store credit. And that I would end up having to keep the shoes, socks and liners. OK. I knew that going in. But when I got to the store, which is about 30 mins. from my home, they told me I had to call their customer service number at 877-620-3338. What?! I can't just go back to the store to return them? OK, I call the number and after about 5 minutes of their automated system telling me to push 1, for some store in Colorado, and 2 for another store in Colorado, they finally got to the customer service number which is "6". I hit 6, get another recorded answer saying, "Sorry, we are currently assisting another customer. Please leave a message and we'll get right back to you." Wow! So I leave a message and, 24 hours later, no call back. So I called again. Same "sorry, we're assisting another customer" recording. I didn't leave a message. I'm just going to see if they call me back, or I will call again and see if I get a real person on the other line. Unless you are absolutely positive that these expensive plastic inserts are going to do the job and you will never return them, I'd steer clear of this sham company.
