The best Chiropractor in the valley. I recommend Dr. Harlan. Here's why. - My mom who is 72 years old had been hurting for almost a decade with a frozen shoulder and she would always get an ibuprofen shot. - When we went to Dr. Harlan, we were clueless. My Mom's pain from 1-10 is... 12. (Yes, she was in extreme pain). -Dr. Harlan said the session might take up to 10 sessions and he was fine by only 6. (some doctors will take advantage of that and will do all the sessions even if it's not necessary.) -The next day after her session with Dr. Harlan I asked her about her pain from 1-10 and she said 2! I cannot say thank you enough for making my Mom feel so much better. She's more happier and not in pain. She is enjoying life more. Some doctors will take advantage of their clients because most of them are business men. Dr. Harlan proved me wrong. The mere fact that he only did 6 sessions with my Mom is absolutely amazing and he definitely gained my trust. I already recommended three people and definitely will recommend more. read more

Terribly unprofessional upon first call. i called on a Friday, couldn't be seen until Monday and left in quite some pain. was unable to make my appointment on time and called to make my lateness and emergent reasoning known only to have a VERY RUDE tone demanding i pay for his time despite his unwillingness to see me. This person has a total lack of understanding and compassion. Demanding respect of his time without offering it in return Heavy recommendation against booking with him for compassionate care read more

I have known Dr. Dparer for over 45 years. we taught Bindegewebsmassage together at the Swedish Institute in NYC,NY years ago. As a chiropractor, he is one of the BEST. His form of treating patient is Directional Non Force Technique (DNFT), a great technique not many if any chiropractors are administering.. I flew out to see him just to get treated by this past month from Melbourne, FL. In 8 sessions My MRI disclosed I had cleavage tears posterior horn extends to inferior articular surface and free margin. Moderate chondromalaica, (runner's knee), osteoarthritis and a Baker's cyst.. I was referred to see a sergeant to correct my problem. NO THANKS. I'm a wholistic practitioner for about 60 years and surgery is the last step.....So Dr. Harlan Sparer here I come. I flew out to see Dr. Sparer and within 8 treatments I was able to not only feel the knee back in its joint, but relief from the pain. My job now was to focus on the swelling. I'm happy to say, I'm back in Florida getting ready to give my workshops participating at my Florida Convention and Massage Therapy Festival this summer. Thank you again, Dr. Harlan Sparer for your knowledge and mastering DNFT to serve us, Yours in Health, Pat Donohue read more

Dr Harlan Sparer is the best chiropractor I've ever had. His practice is unique by utilizing Directional Non-Force Technique. This means he is working with your spine in all directions to align you. There is no pain involved, no cracking, no rolling pins, etc. Only relief after he's found the problem. I honestly think he can fix anything related to or connected to the spine. Dr Sparer's goal is to heal you, not to bleed your wallet. Once you're feeling better (3 - 6 visits typically) he doesn't need to see you again until you do something to hurt yourself. No other chiropractor in the business will encourage you to stop returning for more treatments. That's the beauty of what Dr Sparer does. It may be his business, but it's also his passion. Every year he continues his education, learning from his colleagues the current best practices in his profession. This means you're always in good hands with current knowledge. When I was first treated by Dr Sparer, I had come to terms with lifelong back pain. But three visits later I was pain free for the first time ever as an adult. It felt like a miracle, but it was just proven science. In the three years since of being a patient, I've had numerous surgeries which are tough on the body. Yet I've only needed 3 total adjustments meaning the results last... Long term relief is possible and Dr Sparer has the ability to give you the pain relief you deserve. read more

My husband had a stroke a year ago (his left side is very weak, he cannot walk and is in a wheelchair) and someone recommended that we see him to help with the limited mobility and pain in his shoulder. I helped my husband get onto the small massage table and then Dr. Harlan worked on his shoulder from the front side. He asked my husband to turn over onto his stomach so he could work on the back side of his shoulder, but during the turning part, my husband slipped off of the massage table and onto the floor. Dr. Harlan was not very helpful as I struggled to lift him off the floor (my husband weighs 220 and I weigh 120). I felt like he was watching me struggle, but not assisting me. We will not be going back for a future appointment. read more

I could not thank Dr. Harlan enough for giving my Mom a free pain life. My mom have had her right shoulder in pain for years since 2008. I usually take her to her other Doctor to get some shots for her shoulder pain. My boss told me about Dr. Harlan and I took my Mom in there with 8/10 in pain. With just one session my Mom is "feeling young"again as what she says. My family and I absolutely highly recommend Dr. Harlan. 5 stars Is not even enough to rate him. He deserves a million stars rating! read more

I have been out of work suffering from vertigo and migraines for over a month and a half. After going to an ENT and a Neurologist to no avail, I listened to a friend raving about their Chiropractor, Harlan Sparer, and decided I needed to see this guy. I truly wish I came to see him in the first place. The stiffness in my neck he adjusted out alleviated so much tension that my migraines and dizziness are much more manageable! Thank you so much Dr. Sparer for giving me my life back!! :D read more

He treats with the goal of healing you. Aren't you Worth every dime and the time it takes to be healed?

This man saved my life. I went to him after having a lumbar puncture and 2 blood patches and drs wanting me to have back surgery because of the pinched nerve they caused. The pain I had I was not sure if it was going to kill me or it felt like I wanted to die. Walking standing or just moving felt like a task on its own. I'm 33 I should not be feeling this kind of pain. I walked in to Dr. Harlan looking and feeling like a 90 year old disabled person. I needed my boyfriend to help me get up walk to the bathroom get dressed. Worst pain in my life. I've had 3 kids allll natural with no epidural this pain was by far the worst pain. Dr Harlan after 3 visits made me feel normal better than before even. I truly from the first visit I didn't think what he was doing was going to work. I think of chiropractor I think cracking what he did was some pushing here and there and I'm sure he told me the first time what he was doing but the pain was so bad I wasn't listening . I am so very thankful for Dr Harlan that I don't need back surgery that I can walk for giving me my life back which in the 2 weeks before I saw him seemed like that was the end. He was amazing and his practice was very different than if what I was expecting but after explaining what he was doing why he was doing it when I didn't feel pain made so much sense. He gave me an understanding that I have recommended him to everyone I meet that says they have back, neck or even headaches. Very thankful to have met him. read more

I have been receiving chiropractic care on a regular basis for many years and have never experienced anything as wonderful and effective as the Non-Force Technique used by Dr. Sparer. I have issues with my back from an injury that no one else had been able to help me with, until I found Dr. Sparer. I will continue to send my clients to you for all of their chiropractic needs. Thanks again Doc, Your awesome! read more

Amazing!!! do not let the term chiropractor fool you, D.N.F.T. is NOT like the crack and pull chiropractor. This non-force actually works!! After years of pain I am finally pain free, and I can look all the way behind my left shoulder. After 7 years of not being able to move my head left more then 15 degrees, I can look behind me!! It's almost a strange sensation to feel good. I highly recommend Harlan Sparer to anyone who wants to be pain free. It's also great how he's open late and on Sundays!! read more

Dr. Harlan Sparer is the greatest Chiropractor I have met. His Direct Non-Force Technique is wonderful! After the very first visit I felt an immediate response. His exam before the first adjustment was very thorough and he definitely knows what he is doing. I can't believe the results I've had in just 3 visits so far. I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Sparer to anyone suffering from chronic back/neck issues. read more

Harlan is the real deal. I have had back issues for the last 5 years. I was told by my pain management doctor to never go to a chiropractor for my condition. I had herniated bulging lower disc issues and now Arthritis. Over the years I just got used to getting up bent over until I could walk out my stiffness and stand straight. I met Dr Harlan at a community get together and enjoyed his great humor and personality. He told me he was a holistic chiropractor he adjusts w/o cracking or forcing, that interested me since that's what I was told to avoid but maybe that could work for me? I made an appointment. I have been wanting to post this review for a while, but you know life gets in the way but I thought it was important to share that I am doing great and it is 3 months since we finished our sessions! He is very upfront about how many sessions he believes you will need, he was with me and I finished one less than he thought! This was a very different experience but one I would recommend! He is a great source of information and educated me on my back issues, first time...previous medical doctors just gave me meds and endless physical therapy referrals. read more

Dr Harlan is a compassionate, clever, and creative facilitator of healing. I have had numerous adjustments from him and am pleased with his work. He's truly a pleasure to be around. The type of chiropractic he practices, Direct Non Force Technique (DNFT) is very different from other conventional methods. It takes the WHOLE body into account and provides deep healing by working with root causes of your pain at multiple dimensions of your being. read more

I have gone to regular chiropractors in the past but decided I didn't want to keep getting my back snapped. I didn't think it could be good to keep doing that. I met Harlan Sparer through Network Together and enjoyed his story and testimonials I was hearing. When one day my back went out again I called Harlan. His 1 hour preliminary meeting to get the whole story is very thorough, friendly and professional. He only treats you for the amount of time needed to solve the problem, not keeping you coming back like some chiropractors do. At first I wasn't sure if my back was better. I was being leary and cautious because I wanted to be better and stay healthy for my upcoming trip to Hawaii. I felt better but there was still a little pain at times. It took 4 sessions and about a month before I felt 100 percent but it was worth it. He also gave me some ergonomic suggestions that I followed and really helped. Thank you Harlan, I will definitely recommend you. read more
