October2026 Gomez was called to pick us up at 12:15am. They responded and insured us they'd be on their way. They had to drive 45 min to get us and made it to us in the exact time they stated... the driver was fantastic, polite, and very accommodating. Had called a wrecker service 5min from our breakdown, they wouldn't come... but Gomez showed up... I would always recommend them everyone. read more

Ive used gomez twice before and had no problem. I needed a tow, called him, he told me to pay with either option. His Zelle didn't work after trying 3 times, so I paid on Venmo, Where I paid him last time. I asked if he got paid, he said no, I told him I paid at his Venmo and he said his Venmo was different. Apparently I paid his wife's personal account (Antonia). I sent him the money to his business account and asked if I could get the other payment back, the one sent to his wife. He refused to acknowledge he received double pay, even after I got confirmation from my bank, and Venmo, that both payments went through. Gomez refused to give me a payment back, and kept lying, saying he only received one payment. Txt messages are attached. I ended up getting my money back from Venmo, after he refused to cooperate. Apparently the money wouldn't go through Zelle because there was a red flag onto his Zelle account. read more

So I've used Gomez Towing multiple times And hadn't had any issues until now. I was given the specific instructions by the mechanic working on my car to have the tower call or text a certain phone number so that he could give to instructions on how to get through the gate to his business. He was kind enough to take me on a holiday weekend on a day off, and I was so very grateful to get my car looked at and hopefully fixed quickly. About an hour after leaving my residence I get a phone call from the mechanic saying that Gomez Towing was extremely rude to him on the phone and hung up on him. My mechanic tried to explain to Gomez Towing that it's the weekend he his business is closed, but he has a camera on the premise and can see exactly what the tow person is doing. The man at Gomez Towing explained to the mechanic that he has to be there in order for them to drop off. The caller was extremely rude to him dropped the car off in the wrong spot and this whole interaction made me nervous as the owner of the vehicle being transported. They've been in business in Austin for a long time and I don't understand why they had to be rude to a friend of mine, not to mention not following instructions; so I reached out to Gomez to tell him that was not OK to treat my mechanic for that way and that I think he deserved an apology and I was met with rudeness myself. I do not recommend Gomez Towing to anybody. read more

My car died on me in the middle of downtown Austin at 6:30 pm on a busy street. I attempted to call several towing services that came up on yelp but they all either went to voice mail or said they couldn't be out for at least 2 hours. I got lucky with Martin Gomez the owner who answered immediately and said he'd be out in 15-20 minutes. He arrived 20 minutes later and was able to take my car to my office lot where we left it pending a mechanic. Martin was extremely courteous, affordable and he even gave me a ride back to my apartment building. Who does that nowadays? I see a woman complaining about paying $70 for a tow... wow... that's extremely affordable for an emergency tow. One of the companies i called quoted me $300 to take the car 5 blocks. Most of these towing companies will try to rip you off or don't even answer the phone. I'm not sure about the other bad reviews but i can honestly say this man was the only one that took care of me. Will definitely use again! read more

Very professional! Will use again! Usually if you call for a tow, it is already a bad day. We called this service to schedule a personal tow. Within minutes, the tow truck driver called us to let us know when he would be there. He arrived on time, within 20 minutes even though traffic was very heavy at the time. We are close to downtown, so this was impressive. We were then pleasantly surprised at how efficient and fast moving our tow trucker driver was. He helped us pull the car out of the low ceiling parking garage and gently onto the flatbed tow truck. He made sure everything was secure and safe before taking us to our destination. Once we are at the repair garage, he carefully unloaded the car to the waiting parking space. He was very quick with the receipts and everything. Someone else was already calling for him. read more

If it wasn't for me calling another company, these people would've left me stranded. They said they would arrive in an hour I called after 2hrs with no response whatsoever.. even after I canceled. It's good to know they don't give a sh!t read more

Driver not safe or courteous.!very rude! Almost hit my car on 35! North ramp! Driver did not even look or slow down to merge

Well, I was quoted $150 for a flatbed tow of a company vehicle of 8 miles or so. The rate was a bit high. But my mechanic said he had a relationship with Gomez. So I scheduled the pick up. An hour later, I received a photo from one of my employees showing the truck jacked up on a standard wrecker, not a flat bed. Almost immediately afterwards, I received a call from Gomez asking for credit card payment immediately. I questioned the rude woman on the phone about the flatbed. She apologized that she didn't have one available immediately. I pushed her a little harder since the quote was dependent upon flatbed delivery. Her response was that I can pay the full amount now or Gomez will retain possession of the truck. Gomez won't get any more of my business. And I recommend that you avoid them too. The worst service ever. I was told he would be here within an hour. After 1 1/2 hours I called and he said I'm on the way buddy, very busy. Waited another 30 minutes and called back. This time he gave me attitude and said I am busy, just wait and we will be there. I cancelled the service and he told me to never call them back. I would advise you to walk 10 miles in the dark while it's raining with sleet and hail before you call this tow company. Would you believe I got a call after this post and he threatened me by saying just remember I have your information. Then said F### you! Avoid this place read more

I was ripped off. I was stranded in a parking lot, but it was clearly a dead battery. I called another towing company, but they were backed up with APD and ROT Rally, so they recommended Gomez towing- specifically because they would "jump" my car so I could go ACROSS THE STREET to Walmart for a battery. I called Gomez, and specifically asked if they provide a battery jump (I had no cables) and they said it was no problem. Carlos arrives- and begins setting up my car to tow. I explain that I only need a jump and that Walmart (I point across the street) is expecting me. He tells me he has no cables and can only tow. I ask for the price, he says his company will "only charge me for the jump" and loads up my car. He literally drives it across the street (I was at Taco Bell behind Southpark Meadows Walmart.) He tells me he needs $70- and it can only be in cash. He has my car on his truck- what could I do? I don't frequently need a tow truck- but I will never call Gomez again. That kind of shenanigan breaks trust with the community. Honesty builds your business. read more

Called Mr. Martin because my parents lost their keys in Kansas City, MO. Martin meet us at the airport and delivered the Car to the Nissan Dealership. I will never use this company again. My dealership wasn't able to pick up my car today so they recommended Gomez Towing, I should have known better just by the name. Not only did Gomez Towing charge me an extra $30.00 because the car was in Round Rock instead of Pflugerville they are unbelievable when it comes to talking to you, very unprofessional, rude, and zero business sense. I just don't understand. I had no problem paying extra? I'm shaking my head and will talk about them on my radio show tomorrow encouraging all my listener's not ever use this scam of a company. read more

I had them tow a car less than four miles and they charged $70.00. I complained about the amount and the person on the phone said "I don't need your crap are you going to pay or not". As if I had a choice. No where does he say he has a flat rate of 70.00 on his card. Last time I had him tow my car to the same shop it was less than $40.00. Make sure you get the price before letting him tow. I will never have them tow our cars again. read more
