Amazing experience. I brought my Jeep Wrangler in right when they opened, and within an hour they had already diagnosed the problem. They had been like half the engine torn apart (at least to me ), replaced all the passenger-side rocker arms, and had everything back together the same day. They pinpointed the issue immediately, while other shops I won't name couldn't figure it out and wanted to charge me a ridiculous amount for repairs that weren't even the actual problem. Came in for a check engine light service. Was told they found nothing wrong, but did find 1000$ worth of other repairs to get my car in good driving condition. I took their word for it due to an upcoming road trip, and within 3 days all of the repairs they made started failing. Because their office was closed i left an email stating all the issues that I was having and that I was starting to feel like I got a little scammed. I came back Monday morning when they opened, tried explaining the problems I was having and was interrupted multiple times to be asked if the check engine light was back on, I don't think I've even driven enough for that to come back on if it's going to, so kept trying to redirect the conversation back to the actual repairs I had gotten worked on that had already failed. They then said they read my email, and because i said the word scam - I was calling them scammers and refused to review any of the work they had done incorrectly. They said they would refund me, and then almost didn't even do that until I threatened to call the police. I have since filed a police report for theft and will also be contacting the credit card company. I wouldn't recommend this shop to my worst enemy. Not sure why there's so many good reviews or if they thought I was just a dumb girl they could rob. My boyfriend called up as well and they told him my AC has a leak (which was not mentioned in any of my paperwork) and my tire sensor could've been repaired had I not called them scammers, which I didn't. They also charged us an additional 260$ before running our return that we also have to dispute. Do not come here. read more

If I could give these guys a better review than 5 stars I would. They worked us in quickly and they were HONEST. We were told the engine had to be removed by another mechanic to get to the busted oil pan and it would be around 2K to fix it. When we took the car here, Charles said the worst case scenario would be 2K and best will be 1K. The final cost was $696.. Here's the thing.. They could have charged us more but they didn't. These people are ripoffs and rude! My car was parked in the parking lot where the run their business. The battery of my car was dead, and I asked them for a jump. They told me it would cost me $25 to do this! I could not believe it. The mechanic waked 25 feet and it took one second. Where is common courtesy and good will! The attendant had the attitude of take it or leave it. If they charge $25 for a one second job just imagine how they will take advantage of their customers. read more

I have had several dealings with Superior Automotive and I would definitely say that everyone of them has been a positive one. The first time I tried them out, I needed a new serpentine belt on my 2002 Toyota Camry. This was one of those things I thought I could undertake myself, but the tensioner pulley has some sort of hydraulic mechanism that I could not undo/release to free up the old belt. I took it to John and the guys and I had my car back within just a few hours. At no time did they ever tried to upsell me or try to get me to spend more money with them. I knew what I needed, and they fixed me up and that was it. Later on, I took the same car back to them thinking that I needed new struts because of a bad sound I would hear going over a speedbump. I took it in and a few hours later, John called me back to inform me that my struts were fine but my sideview mirror was very loose and I was probably hearing it make a bad noise upon impact of the speedbump. These guys are honest, they are friendly, timely, and communicate well. It doesn't hurt that they are less than five minutes from my house either. Apparently they are not open on Saturday or Sunday so if you work during the week, you're screwed . Their website (if you want to call it that) is nothing more than their address and phone number. Other than that, you have to call them for their service hours and don't look for an email address, you won't find that either. The business number listed, if not answered by a real person, is answered only by a computerized voice saying that the answering machine is turned off. I'm curious as to why they don't notice any of these obvious mis-steps. The only way to find out the hours of operation is to drive up there. No one should have to do that but I guess Superior has all the business they need so attention to detail on their website and their answering machine is just not a high priority. I have a hard time convincing myself to take my car there if this is how they run things behind the scenes. If they can't update their website or notice that no messages are being left after hours, then maybe I need to take my car to Lamb's. At least I know they are on the ball, even if I have to pay a little more. Too bad, Superior, you are losing good business. read more
