0/10 experience with them It was a complete hassle to get my car back. Nobody could give me a straight answer, and I kept getting bounced from one person to another like no one actually knew what was going on. Every time I called, I got a different story about where my car was or what I needed to do. On top of that, they had inconvenient hours and made it feel like I was the problem for trying to pick up my own vehicle. There was zero sense of urgency from their side, and the whole process felt disorganized and unprofessional. What should've been something quick and simple turned into a stressful, time-consuming ordeal. I wouldn't trust them again and definitely wouldn't recommend dealing with them if you can avoid it. read more

Needed a jump start and called them. $100 for a jump, if it didn't start, they'd only charge $25 more for a tow 3/4 of a mile. The person who answered was friendly, listened to my issue, and gave me options. However, when the driver came, he didn't even say hello or make eye contact, wasn't wearing a mask during COVID, and unnecessarily blocked the whole road. He left and drove down the road after jump starting my car. Unfortunately he didn't give enough of a charge and it died right away. I had to run down the street to get him to come back to jump it a second time. While it did work out in the end. I wouldn't recommend spending the $100 to have them come out to jump your car. If you have a similar experience you might not be driving away and you'll likely not be treated professionally. read more

Was parked completely legally, instead this company decides to put a TOW sticker to advertise their car buying service on my car window while I'm out of town. Impossible to get off and I did not ask for this. Please stop! So unprofessional of a business to be doing this. read more

Was driving through lakeway otw to Krause springs and had a blowout on some back road. These guys were great. Arrived at quoted time, friendly and knowledgeable and able to work through some issues our car presented with hooking up to the tow truck. Gave us a ride to discount tire in his nice, clean and air-conditioned cab. Highly recommended. read more

After calling around Austin for about 20 minutes getting quotes for a tow, Austin Towing gave us the best quote and quickest arrival time. When they arrived the driver was extremely polite and friendly. If I ever need another tow, this will be the place I call. My husband and I have had to call tow trucks in the past and it's always been really sketchy and uncomfortable this was not the case with Austin Towing. read more

Pros: Reasonably priced for the distance I needed to be towed. Cons: Communication and speediness. I was told they had someone on the way when I called in at 6pm. Figured that would probably mean 30-45 minutes because of traffic, so I told my gf not to bother picking me up. An hour later I called in to get an ETA. I'm told they'll call me back in 3 minutes with an answer. 20 minutes later the driver calls. He's 15-20 minutes out. All said and done, it took an hour and forty minutes for the truck to show up. I lost all of the daylight I was hoping to have for fixing my car. Not a happy customer. read more

Great experience, my car wouldn't start after a trip to HEB and Arthur showed up within 20 minutes and helped us to our destination quickly. Fast, Friendly, Easy! read more

On time, friendly. Jo went above and beyond to get it started before towing it to my mechanic.

Best experience I've ever had with a towing service. They came and towed the car, and gave me a ride to the service place, as well. Gave a beyond reasonable price. Would definitely recommend! read more

Worst company ever! Bought a car they said the only problem was the battery. Easy fix. Once I get home the car doesn't start even after getting the battery fixed. Went to auto zone the alternator and starter are both out smh. Break lights are out can't fix it bc it's missing a piece in the part. Headlight out, same issue. As we clean the car, we find WEED inside. I have kids. Imagine if I would have got pulled over. Tried contacting the boss, no answer. They blocked my number and I still haven't received the title. My next step is small claims court. read more

I called another towing company after my car wouldn't start, even after jumping it. I waited 1.5 hours and they still hadn't arrived. They said they'd be there in 45 mins. -.- That's when I called Austin Towing Services. They were there before I knew it and in less than 30 minutes after placing the call, everything was finished. My car was where it needed to be. He charged me the same price as the other guys quoted. Should have called them first! read more

I feel gouged. If you think $100 is a fair price for a tow of .6 miles (that's about 5 city blocks) by all means go with these guys. read more

I had to tow my car last minute and in less than an hour, they were in my house. Joe was my service man and he was absolutely fantastic. He thought he would be able to jump start my car although I had already tried and he was right and was able to start my car. A+ service and will definitely use this towing service again! read more

The guy Joe sales bad parts knowing that he is not going to refund a person money which is bad business.. I will not recommend anyone to use his service he is a fraud and a ripoff dishonest business. Take your money elsewhere don't go you will take your money and does not do refunds. read more

Got two flat tires on a Friday night and early Saturday morning I called Austin Towing services and Joe came out right away. He checked my tires to see if they could just be filled with air but they were totally done. Next he towed me to the nearest tire shop, explained to them what I needed and got me set up before heading out. I will use and recommend this company to anybody that needs honest roadside assistance read more

Waited 3 hours for them to show up. I told them I had a 4 door diesel. When he finally arrived, with a regular tow truck and not a flatbed, the driver told me he couldn't tow my truck because my tires were too big. AND he doesn't own a flatbed! I walked to my truck to grab my phone and he just took off. I would never use this company! read more

I called with a flat downtown and Joe rushed right over to change it for me. The quick service during rush hour was unexpected-thank you Joe! read more

For work we have a 24' refrigerated truck with a big Cat diesel engine. I left the light on in the box and drained the battery completely. He showed up connected his truck and and extra battery charger along with another truck(yes three batteries) and sure enough he got the thing started. I thought for sure I was going to pay through the nose to get the thing running. Nope the price was fair and I was on my way. You just earned all my business. Thanks Again. read more

These guys are great! When my car broke down on the side of the road I was referred to them to help tow my car and not rip me off. They were quick to scoop up my car, IN THE RAIN and didn't charge me an arm and a leg. Great guys. I will be saving their number and passing it on to anyone else in need! read more

First call no answer. Second call, answered and hung up on me at 2:30am. Not 24/7 probably drunk or high who knows.

I got a flat tire and they were fast, friendly and reliable! Really appreciate y'all.

I used this company to move my car when it wouldn't start. The operator was polite and courteous. He was also efficient and clearly knew what he was doing. I will continue using this service while I live in Austin. read more

Had to have my junk car towed from my mechanic to the dealership while I was at work. They handled everything great. Took my credit card over the phone, was very happy with the service. Main number apparently goes to the owners cell, which confused me at first, but overall very happy. read more

If you are ever in a pinch, THIS is the company to call. My poor little Honda Civic decided to die on me and after calling around town, getting voicemails, Joe picked up the phone and within two hours, he picked me up, and dropped me off at Groovy Automotive (whom he recommended) and I was able to get my little Honda back on the road the same afternoon. Joe was truly a Godsend. He texted when he was 5 minutes away, he picked me up, we carried on a terrific conversation and honestly, it felt like I was being taken care of by family. To all my ladies out there: THIS is who you want to take care of you in a pinch. Please put this number In your phone book and keep it in case of emergency. You are in good hands with Joe! read more
