Some researching and i found Debra and Jesse with Mountainside Glass. Debra handled the insurance claim for me so I literally had to do nothing on my end. And both Debra and Jesse reassured me that they would take good care of me. While Jesse was there, the hubby asked about a chip in his windshield and Jesse took care of that since he was at the house anyway. Chip repair was pretty reasonably priced. From the first call last Monday with Debra to Jesse performing the replacement 2 days later, it was nothing short of a great experience.

This is the third time I have called on American Warrior…read more The second time in just one week. Carissa, who answers your call, is super to work with. She gets back to you quickly, provides answers to your questions, gives quotes on OEM and after-market products, and schedules appointments. On every occasion she got us appointments that worked great for me in regards to day and timing. I mean almost immediate appointments were scheduled after receiving some good news -a quote that was easily $100 lower than a competitors price for the passenger window. A few hundred dollar difference for the windshield too. I only learned that when I was mistakenly provided a windshield replacement and calibration quote from competitor when I had asked for price on passenger window. On both recent occasions the service actually came directly to my location. Ryan called as anticipated, notified me how far out he was and arrived within the time expected. From start to finish he got the damaged glass removed, replacements installed, finishing the repairs, then wrapping up by processing payment. Polite and professional all the way. For the windshield, it had been completed on Wednesday the prior week. Caleb, of the Calibration Crew, called to notify me he was on his way shortly after the installation was finished. He was given keys, took vehicle for a drive around the area and was prompt in completing the calibration process. This included in the price of replacement/repair. 5 * for Prompt, Same Day, Service and Competitive Pricing.

All he could offer was a "sorry" and drove off. Would not recommend.

As the quotes came in, I noticed that several shops warned they couldn't guarantee proper recalibration with an aftermarket windshield. See N Clear, however, offered a very competitive price with a warranty, so I reached out to them directly. They immediately assured me that recalibration would not be an issue. I booked an appointment for the next morning. I received a text 30 minutes before arrival, and the technician showed up right on time. The entire windshield replacement and recalibration were finished in under an hour. When I asked if I could take the car out to test the lane‑departure system -- he handed me the keys without hesitation. Everything worked perfectly. I really appreciate See N Clear's prompt communication, fair pricing, solid warranty, and excellent workmanship. They'll be my go‑to company for any future auto‑glass needs. If you're shopping around, don't hesitate to reach out to them for a quote.

I had a windshield replaced on my 2024 VW Tiguan, and the experience with the calibration afterward…read morewas extremely frustrating. The tech threatened me with physical violence and the job wasn't complete because my vehicle was too technical for them to figure out. Audio recording: https://otter.ai/u/uBov-2je6StFvu_u1iIiW6Ci3f4?utm_source=copy_url Tech arrived around 1 p.m. and we shook hands. He said he'd be done in about an hour. At 2:32 PM, the technician texted me that he was starting the dynamic calibration and was "almost done." At 2:33, I was told it would be "a few more minutes." An hour later, at 3:25, after I asked for an update, I was told the vehicle was passing the first part of the calibration but not the second. The technician continued driving my vehicle around attempting the calibration. At 3:50 PM, he sent me a photo of his diagnostic equipment showing the dynamic calibration had a fault after multiple attempts. I even remembered that I had a Progressive Snapshot device in the OBD port and suggested removing it in case it was interfering. At 4:27 PM, the technician returned, but the situation still wasn't resolved. Then at 5:07 PM, I was told he would be "heading back over shortly." By 6:05 PM -- almost an hour later -- I was still waiting and had to text again asking whether I should just call it a day. Ultimately, they were unable to successfully calibrate the ADAS/front camera, gave up on the job, returned the vehicle to me without a successful calibration, and later refunded me. I appreciate that they issued the refund, but I lost most of an afternoon and was left with a newly replaced windshield that still needs to be taken somewhere else for proper calibration. What bothered me most was the communication. I repeatedly heard "a few more minutes," "I'll tell you soon," and "heading back over shortly," while hours passed. If the calibration wasn't working, I would have much preferred to be told that directly rather than continually being given short estimates that weren't accurate. The refund was appropriate, but based on the amount of time wasted, poor communication, and the unfinished calibration, I would not use this company again. I felt like they were being dishonest and the communication was horrible.

What stood out to me even more was their service recovery. There was a small item I had requested that was initially overlooked. While it was inconvenient to have to come back another day, John handled the situation the right way. He was genuinely apologetic, took full accountability, and made sure it was addressed without hesitation. That kind of ownership goes a long way. Mistakes happen, but how a business responds is what matters--and in this case, they showed professionalism and care. I left feeling respected and taken care of. I would absolutely recommend them and would use their services again.

Will that blue glare strip be at the top? The only way to find out is just to do your research, find a glass company that specializes in the older glass replacements and ask questions if you've got em (which I did). My insurance sent me to Safelite, but after reading their reviews there was no way I was going to trust them with my truck! I found Blue Chip and their amazing customer feedback online and gave them a call. Kelly answered my questions, and was humbled by my asking to switch from Safelite. The appointment was set, lobby was stocked with delicious snacks (even vegan) and drinks, and the bathroom was clean. Chris checked me in, and John checked me out when it was time to leave. Freddy did a stellar job on my truck, even grabbing me to show what the body of my truck looked like after removing the old glass (yeah, there was some rust there). He explained that while he can do his best to clean it up by grinding it, that there would be a chance in the future for leaks and would be unavoidable unless I got body work done to fix it, which I opted out of. I thanked him for his transparency. Mind you, I have a 1999 GMC Suburban, which is not perfect, but I don't mind it. Freddy showed me my glass when he was all finished and I couldn't have been happier! I met Kelly in person as I was leaving and find that he is a great business owner who really cares about his clients and their experience with his shop. This is the type of business I have no problem supporting every time, and if I need them in the future, "I'll be back".

Let me start by stating that Tara out of the Provo office was outstanding from the time we had email exchanges to the time I arrived and took care of my car. Not only was she amazing but so where the crew, diligent, professional, courteous and efficient. The reservation, the repair and replacement including calibration was done with expertise and extremely quickly even if my car had all the bells and whistles on it. All I can do honestly is praise the service and work they performed. Their prices were competitive, and best of all you are supporting a small locally owned family business that take huge pride in their work, something you do not see in big box organizations. If you look elsewhere good luck. Would I recommend them, hands down in a heartbeat. They fixed my fully loaded Audi Allroad, and I will be back to see them to get my other car windows tinted. You get service, really people, a great family oriented business and support your local community, what more can you ask for. Thank you Prime Autoglass, I 100% recommended them to everyone. Maybe that is the price but for that amount I should have had white glove service and it was a huge pain with extra difficulty due to lack of communication. Will not go back there.
