My insurance sent me to Safelite, but after reading their reviews there was no way I was going to trust them with my truck! I found Blue Chip and their amazing customer feedback online and gave them a call. Kelly answered my questions, and was humbled by my asking to switch from Safelite. The appointment was set, lobby was stocked with delicious snacks (even vegan) and drinks, and the bathroom was clean. Chris checked me in, and John checked me out when it was time to leave. Freddy did a stellar job on my truck, even grabbing me to show what the body of my truck looked like after removing the old glass (yeah, there was some rust there). He explained that while he can do his best to clean it up by grinding it, that there would be a chance in the future for leaks and would be unavoidable unless I got body work done to fix it, which I opted out of. I thanked him for his transparency. Mind you, I have a 1999 GMC Suburban, which is not perfect, but I don't mind it. Let me start by stating that Tara out of the Provo office was outstanding from the time we had email exchanges to the time I arrived and took care of my car. Not only was she amazing but so where the crew, diligent, professional, courteous and efficient. The reservation, the repair and replacement including calibration was done with expertise and extremely quickly even if my car had all the bells and whistles on it. All I can do honestly is praise the service and work they performed. Their prices were competitive, and best of all you are supporting a small locally owned family business that take huge pride in their work, something you do not see in big box organizations. If you look elsewhere good luck. Would I recommend them, hands down in a heartbeat. They fixed my fully loaded Audi Allroad, and I will be back to see them to get my other car windows tinted. My SUV required calibration and it wasn't that unique yet they took weeks and blamed it on the insurance. I had full glass coverage so never saw the price. Later I found out they charged my insurance company over $4600 for a new windshield. Which eventually looked negatively on my insurance history and my rates went up. Maybe that is the price but for that amount I should have had white glove service and it was a huge pain with extra difficulty due to lack of communication. Will not go back there.
