Sliced beef bone soup (seol leong tang)
Nadine L.

We live closer to Annandale, but we always make the 20 min drive here just for some comfort Korean food! The seollongtang is our main go but we also sometimes get the dumplings and seafood pancake! Kimchi appetizers are also phenomenal. The service is fast and food is always great!

This spot got me into Seol Leong Tang! A comforting meal in a cozy restaurant. They have a big glass window which showcases their big pot of broth that is always boiling. Open 24 hours makes it the perfect spot for late night meals. Their service is mediocre but the food and happy memories formed here will bring you back. I do like that they offer ice water or hot tea upon arrival.

This place was just SO good. We pulled up to this place approaching 9pm. This is gonna sound weird but- it was very authentically Korean ambiance. Like as soon as you walk in, you're greeted from across the room and seated. Reminded me of my own home country! There was plentyyyy of seating and an extensive authentically Korean menu- like there was no fries on this thing. There were burners on the table for stews I'm assuming. Our food came out in sensible timing and was SO HOT AND SO GOOD. Perfectly seasoned (like so good) and a wonderful sizeable portion. There was also one lovely elderly lady working who kept walking around and checking in on people which was lovely. This place is open for 24 HOURS- so I would really love to pull up at a random time like 3am!

Spicy Seafood Noodle Soup (Jjamppong)

It was a large portion for $15.99, and they provide a plastic container to take home any leftovers. It was packed with seafood, and the staff were friendly. The place was warm and clean. I definitely recommend it.

Their seafood hamul pajun (seafood pancake) is delicious. The pancakes are crispy and filled with chunks of seafood. There are a plethora of soups to choose from and since it is open 24 hours, it's a great spot to visit any time of day!

A korean stew spot thats open 24 hours is just what i need. Sick? Grab a hearty bone broth stew. Hungover? Cure it with some soothing stew. Hungry? They are open All day. I got the army stew/budaejjigae and it was delicious. The spam and ramen noodles was exactly what i needed.

This place always hits the spot for us. The food is always so good and the servers are always friendly. We tend to always get the Kalbi Tang soup and the steamed pork belly that comes with yummy sides to eat together with. Our kids love the mandu Grab some soju and Terra and enjoy the delicious meal!

It was very traditional Korean food and soups. The flavors were good and everything was solid. Not too much to say about it, everything was expected. You can see the huge pot that they get the broth from, probably just always cooking it. On a cold night, a good Korean soup always hits the spot. Service was a bit slow due to just having one server for the whole place. Interior decorations make it look like you're in Korea.

Food here is really good! Been here a long time ago and decided to come back and was not disappointed! This place advertises that it is open 24 hours which is great for anyone who wants a late night snack. Be mindful that the soups do come unsalted so you would need to do that yourself.

Braised beef

The place was gorgeously decorated! Even though it was 11pm, the place was packed. The restaurant is open 24/7 and the smell of cooking food hits you once you walk in. The waiting staff is nice but they speak minimal English. Bone broth with tendon: it wasn't for me. There isn't much flavor with bone broth but there was a lot of tendon! I was hoping for some dipping sauce with the tendon but there was none. I tried adding salt and pepper but the salt was a bit chunky and much more salty than table salt. I liked that it came with a side of rice and had noodles in it. 4/10 Braised beef: this was really good! Full of flavor and had veggies, rice cake, noodles, and plenty of tender meat. 9/10 The kimchi had a much more sour flavor than other kimchi I've had and I wasn't a huge fan. I did like the pickled radish though. I'm not sure if it was a misunderstanding but the server told me I couldn't take the left over kimchi home but then later gave me a takeout box for it. Overall the service was nice and the food price was average. It was a cute place and it was great that it's open 24/7.

Galbi Tang- Ox Beef short rib soup

Consistently good food, their soups have the best broth- rich and flavorful. The best part is they are open 24/7- ideal for late night meals after a party to have some hangover soup etc.

Kimchi jjigae
LeAnn F.

I love how this is 24/7. It's like a wall in hole and been around for a while. It's this old Korean grandma that served us. It's very cozy. They have this big soup bowl that they stir and make sure to scoop out the fat. They serve their food with msg. We got kimchi jjigae it wasn't the best but it was pretty good. The ox tail soup (wang galbi tang) you eat with putting salt and black pepper and rice and kimchi in it. The bossam was interesting because it felt fresh and steamed vs smoked and crunchy flavor.

Explained that it was my first time and Sean told me to take my time. The restaurant is tastefully decorated for the holiday season. Plenty of seating and can comfortably seat groups. I came in for the Fancy Nancy and seasonal Cranberry Kelli as my side scoop. Picked up a Giving Card because I'm that kind of Chick ;) I was handed my meal and I was headed back into traffic. Arrived home and tasted each of the chicken salads. Both were meaty and flavorful, not mayo forward at all, which is great. I felt a little salt was needed in the Fancy Nancy but I would gladly order again. I would order both again. Both are filling and I enjoyed the wheat crackers and cookie...delicious. I could have done without the pickle. The skin was not tender so I ate around it. Can't wait for my next visit to try other flavors. Fruity Fran, Sassy Scotty and Deck the Holly are calling my name. Also looking forward to trying their Grape Salad, Seasonal Spinach Side Salad, Loaded Potato Soup and Poblano Chicken Soup. Bonus- They provide samples if you're on the fence about what to purchase.

The food, especially fruits are consistently fresh, and the variety of chicken salad options makes it easy to find a favorite (or two!). What truly sets this place apart, though, is their heart for the community. During the government shutdown, they offered free Little Chicks for kids -- no adult purchase required. That gesture meant so much and showed how committed they are to supporting families during tough times. Great food, great service, and a business that genuinely gives back. Highly recommend! :)

I ordered the Pork Spare Rib Plate and the Ono Chopped Pork Plate. The plates come with your choice of seasoned rice or Hawaiian rolls, plus two sides. --Ono Chopped Pork Plate - 4/5: I got the furikake-seasoned rice, mac n cheese, and baked beans. I loved the rice and the baked beans. The mac and cheese was pretty good but could've used a little more salt. The chopped pork was tender, but it was a little dry for me. --Pork Spare Rib Plate - 4/5: I got the furikake-seasoned rice, honey mustard potato salad, and coleslaw. The potato salad and coleslaw were just okay, but the spare ribs were so good--super tender and falling right off the bone!! --Just Chili (bowl): Topped with cheese and onions. I thought it was a little salty on its own, but I bet it'd be really good with the Hawaiian rolls. I'd definitely recommend the pork spare ribs, especially with the seasoned rice and baked beans. I'll definitely be back to grab a pound of the spare ribs! The restaurant is inside a brewery, which is a pretty cool setup. It's a self-pour tap house with lots of tables and open space, so it's a great place to hang out with friends or family. The staff was really friendly too!

It also came with kimchi and a sweet-and-spicy gochujang sauce to add as you like. The bibimbap was excellent. The julienned vegetables added a satisfying crunch, while the combination of rice and bulgogi was tasty, wholesome, and hearty. Their other dishes are reasonably priced, too. The King Donkatsu costs $20 and is a large, panko-breaded, deep-fried pork cutlet. It tastes great and is big enough to share with two or three people. I haven't found anywhere else in the DMV that serves quality Korean comfort food at this price. The owner is incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. Next time, I'm coming back for the stone pot bibimbap and kimbap. I saw a table of non-Korean customers enjoying them cutting the kimbap like steak and eating the hot stone bibimbap with forks and they still cleaned their plates despite the huge portions That said it all. My only "complaint" is that the king donkatsu is so huge it takes forever to cut it into pieces... but that's definitely a good problem to have!
