It was a large portion for $15.99, and they provide a plastic container to take home any leftovers. It was packed with seafood, and the staff were friendly. The place was warm and clean. I definitely recommend it.

We live closer to Annandale, but we always make the 20 min drive here just for some comfort Korean food! The seollongtang is our main go but we also sometimes get the dumplings and seafood pancake! Kimchi appetizers are also phenomenal. The service is fast and food is always great!

This is one of those inherently subjective reviews, because food, especially culturally specific food, is deeply personal. You either connect with it, or you don't. The restaurant itself is clean, orderly, and thoughtfully presented. The atmosphere feels calm and intentional, and the setup appears efficient. One person handles service for the entire dining room, which I was aware of going in, so my expectations for service were reasonable and aligned with that model. Unfortunately, the food simply did not work for me. This is where I found myself debating between three and four stars. From a purely functional standpoint, the restaurant did its job: I was seated, served a complete meal, and charged a reasonable price. But the food itself was a major disappointment. The dish had a sour aroma, and the flavor was difficult for me to enjoy. The dried pollack soup, in particular, reminded me of an extremely watery pho. After just a few sips of the broth, I knew it wasn't going to be something I could finish. I did try the fish as well, but it didn't improve the experience for me. That said, I want to emphasize the subjectivity here. Many other diners seemed to genuinely enjoy their meals, which suggests this is more about personal taste than execution. It may simply be a very traditional Korean flavor profile, more authentic than I anticipated,, and that's likely where the disconnect was for me. I was also the only white diner there for much of my visit, which reinforced the sense that this restaurant is catering to a specific cultural palate rather than a broadly Western one. Overall, it appears to be a well-run, authentic establishment. If you truly enjoy traditional Korean cuisine, this place may be exactly what you're looking for. For those who are less familiar with or less inclined toward those flavors, it may not be the best fit.

Tried Gom Tang E for the first time and loved it! I had yukgaejang which was OK, with generous portions. Husband ordered some bone broth soup and I actually thought his was better. The banchan was fresh and tasty, and everything came out hot and fast. I surprisingly LOVED their pickled radish (깍두기), I dare say - the favorite dish of the day haha. It's seriously so good!!!!!! Overall, a fantastic spot for authentic Korean comfort food. Can't wait to come back and explore more of the menu!

This spot got me into Seol Leong Tang! A comforting meal in a cozy restaurant. They have a big glass window which showcases their big pot of broth that is always boiling. Open 24 hours makes it the perfect spot for late night meals. Their service is mediocre but the food and happy memories formed here will bring you back. I do like that they offer ice water or hot tea upon arrival.

This place was just SO good. We pulled up to this place approaching 9pm. This is gonna sound weird but- it was very authentically Korean ambiance. Like as soon as you walk in, you're greeted from across the room and seated. Reminded me of my own home country! There was plentyyyy of seating and an extensive authentically Korean menu- like there was no fries on this thing. There were burners on the table for stews I'm assuming. Our food came out in sensible timing and was SO HOT AND SO GOOD. Perfectly seasoned (like so good) and a wonderful sizeable portion. There was also one lovely elderly lady working who kept walking around and checking in on people which was lovely. This place is open for 24 HOURS- so I would really love to pull up at a random time like 3am!

Their seafood hamul pajun (seafood pancake) is delicious. The pancakes are crispy and filled with chunks of seafood. There are a plethora of soups to choose from and since it is open 24 hours, it's a great spot to visit any time of day!

A korean stew spot thats open 24 hours is just what i need. Sick? Grab a hearty bone broth stew. Hungover? Cure it with some soothing stew. Hungry? They are open All day. I got the army stew/budaejjigae and it was delicious. The spam and ramen noodles was exactly what i needed.

This place always hits the spot for us. The food is always so good and the servers are always friendly. We tend to always get the Kalbi Tang soup and the steamed pork belly that comes with yummy sides to eat together with. Our kids love the mandu Grab some soju and Terra and enjoy the delicious meal!

It was very traditional Korean food and soups. The flavors were good and everything was solid. Not too much to say about it, everything was expected. You can see the huge pot that they get the broth from, probably just always cooking it. On a cold night, a good Korean soup always hits the spot. Service was a bit slow due to just having one server for the whole place. Interior decorations make it look like you're in Korea.

Food here is really good! Been here a long time ago and decided to come back and was not disappointed! This place advertises that it is open 24 hours which is great for anyone who wants a late night snack. Be mindful that the soups do come unsalted so you would need to do that yourself.

What feels like a hidden gem serves some of the best Korean cooking I've tasted. The bossam was incredibly aromatic and came with a massive portion of fresh kimchi that was cut tableside, making for a fun dining experience. Together, it was more than enough to satisfy two hungry diners. The banchan selection was equally impressive and paired beautifully with the meal. The restaurant itself is cozy, clean, and welcoming, while the service felt warm, genuine, and comforting, almost like dining in someone's home. My only suggestion would be to offer a more fermented kimchi option as a side dish. All of the kimchi we tried was very fresh, and I personally would have loved a tangier, more developed flavor. Overall, this is an easy 10 out of 10. I would absolutely recommend it and will definitely be back.

The menu was extensive, filled with lots of homey options that I don't usually see in other restaurants. After ordering, we were served six different banchans, all of which were incredibly homey -- light and not too savory. My favorites were the acorn jelly (which was mixed with salted seaweed and sesame seeds) and the white kimchi. Honestly, all six were really solid. AL TANG - 19.99 Super savory with lots of "sea sweetness" and umami, this stew was rich and piping hot upon arrival. I've never had al tang before, but have heard great things about it. Unfortunately, I didn't love the texture of fish roe (kind of reminded me of the texture of cooked chicken lungs). By the end of the stew, I thought it was too salty, so I didn't end up finishing it. Overall, I'm glad I tried it, but I probably won't get it again. My friend got the mackerel which he loved. I'll look forward to other items on the menu next time.
